Call Control - Call Blocker

I really like the way this App blocks calls and I bought the full package, but when I started using it I found I didn't like the way the app handled the phone and calling part and wanted to just use the blocking part, but there is no way to do this, it forces you to use it!? Also I see no reason for my phone to show all the blocked calls from everywhere, not that interested, needs off button. Group blocking numbers need finer adjustments (1,2,3...digits).

I love the ability to block calls, especially love the fact it gives the option to block from leaving voicemails, however, some specifically blocked numbers, even those blocked by several rules (that number specifically, numbers beginning with 800, and calls from toll free numbers) can still ring through, and still leave voicemails. I am confused...

For the cost of premium I find app not effective. 99% of time misses robo and telemarketing calls. Carrier's caller ID only slightly better for similar costs. Requires a lot of manual input when my goal is to not answer the 10+ unknown phone calls from warranty and energy companies. Once premium is done will try different one. Additionally app has an upcharge for caller ID name. Really? My iPhone on t-mobile does a much better job for free than Verizon and this app as paid.

Two different debt collectors are able to leave voicemails despite my blocked list being set to disconnect. I contacted tech support & they said that some spam callers are able to send calls directly to voicemail & there was nothing they could do except apologize for the inconvenience. I will be cancelling my subscription since the entire point I purchased it was to prevent having to constantly having to delete annoying voicemails.

This app doesn't do anything except replace the default call log. Call blocking is non-existent. Regardless of what settings I try, call blocking behaves exactly as if the app weren't installed at all. The latter has the benefit of not taking up valuable space. I will uninstall and try a different app.

Very easy to use. No problem with blocked calls now. No idiots get through. Thanks guys. Update on my comments, about 2 weeks in and they have yet to tell me who was calling. Always can't find out who it is. That not good for premium service.

This by far the best spam call blocker. It does what it's supposed to do. Iw would get innumerable robo calls and harassing calls from randoms. This app has stopped all of that. You can instantly block a number when they call. Love this app.

It does not have a white list setting that only allows calls from your contacts that sends all other calls to voice-mail. This should be a basic feature in all call blocking apps

Completely useless. Getting spam calls, 2 or 3 a minute and they're all making it to voice-mail. This app is junk, was good once upon a time.....not anymore

Call control has no ability to stop most numbers you block. I have tried many times to block both a number and the area code for that number and it allows it through every time. Waste of money.

This app is great and works well if you like you can download load it and keep the basic call control app it works pretty good UT remember it has basic features but still good if you need .more the buy the perineum at cost but the basic is free you can try the perineum for 30 days as offered and decided which one you like thanks I give the five star rating.

As of Sept 27 2021 version, no longer works on my LG G7: won't show dialler, so can't make or receive calls. Uninstalled till bug fixed. Update March 2022: works great on Android 12 (Samsung S22).

I un-installed and re-installed Call Control Saturday - and I thought it was working better - I found 3 calls blocked. But today I have received 5 spam calls that were not in my contact list and were marked by my carrier (Verizion) as potential spam, and none of them were blocked. I attached screen shots to the email I sent to support I will send this message from the app also, to provide additional info. from logs, etc.

It just worked! If I do get a spam call it only happens that one time when I block it... I loved it until it changed with the latest update. After the latest update I can't make it work. I get hung up at settings and it wants to be my phone dallier app. Drupe is my dallier. I can't deal with with Call Control being my dallier. So now I have Drupe and no call or text blocker...

App is great until you try to block a number then you get message you need paid premium subscription, which I have. Sent messages to support, no response.

The number of scam calls more than doubled after installing it. Absolutely didn't do what it says its suppose to do. Was my info shared? You decide. Edit: Now that I've written this review, I received 5 robo/spam calls in less than 1 hour last night. Suspicious at best.

1. Instructions said to look for the blue plus sign. There was none. 2. When I signed up, the block option disappeared. Therefore more cumbersome to block a call. 3. Could not block text messages. Same problem as above. This program may work for numbers already in their system but poor for numbers I identify.

wow!!!! i cant even imagine when I dont get too much random people calling. it's like this app is overriding other peoples phone numbers such as that cool disconnect feature which is awesome to prevent random people leaving too much voicemails Edit Feb 19 2022: it wouldve been better if there was a small overlay rather than popping up like iPhones. I'd prefer that's just a small overlay so I don't get interrupted such as when I'm playing a game

I only wanted an app that will block all calls from unknown numbers and it's a bit bloated for that, but works, and better than other apps I've tried for this.

Update. After using this app for 6 months I find this app to be no better then the similar average rated spam and robo call apps. It has since stopped working on blocking those annoying robo calls and scam phone calls. But I will let you be the judge if this app works for you.

Works as advertised. UI is somewhat cluttered but functional. Helps a ton against ping robo calls.

Does not block texts. Phone calls are hit or miss, some work some don't. This app doesn't do what it claims

I bought the subscription and it just plain doesn't work. Not only that but now it's refused to even let me look at settings, every time I open it it tries to force me to download their messaging app. Uninstalling and would love to get my money back but won't hold my breath. It's scamware. Don't download.

This app is completely useless after the latest update. Complete waste of time and money. Customer support is useless too. I've emailed them many times but they don't know what to do to fix the problem. I will be unsubscribing from this service. There are better options on Google play. STAY AWAY FROM THIS!!! .*** Just unsubscribed and installed "Call Blocker-Block Callers" it's FLAWLESS!!!!! plus it prevents unwanted calls leave voicemail!!! and it's totally free!!!!!!***

Although the app works well in blocking most spam calls, I don't like that I have to use a separate app for SMS texts.

Excellent app! Works as promised. I really like that Call Control matches incoming numbers to their database as well as wildcard patterns I've put in. Other apps I've tried don't have the wildcard capability.

This app hasn't blocked one call or text. I have purchased premium and it's been set up for over a week.
