Call of Duty Companion App

The app is great, when it actually works I've been using it for about a year now and there are always bugs that make the app useless. Bugs like when looking up a player or a friend it says no results or it can not be seen at this time. This company is huge you would think they would be fixing bugs but no.

Codtracker is better than this app for stats, but giving it 2 stars, because it just dont work as advertised and no way to gift anyone anything in warzone, the option doesnt exist. Yes I have 2FA enabled as well. PC player here. Xbox console made it easy to gift battlepass and other things... Fix it and I will change my score.

still in the same boat a yr later. still not getting all notifications of friends playing. loadout editing would be a great feature to bring back. still not comparing all my friends stats, even favorite friends won't all show.

The idea of the app is good, but the design is down right stupid. If you want to look at your daily stats you have to hold the screen. We'll someone thought it was a good idea to put the information under your finger/thumb. You really can't see it.

Very seldom gets updated and never works 100% a crazy amount of bugs and screen loading issues! If they fixed everything and updated it more often it would be great and get more stars from me!

It was good when it first came out but now it's pointless... the stats are incorrect, there's no more XP rewards, and it's basically just advertising the official league games and the latest packs to buy... Still, it's not *quite* as broken as the actual game, what with all the server lagspikes, random disconnects, data pack errors, and aimbots etc all showing up several times a day.

App was good for getting some quick info on multiple aspects of the games. Now its just full of errors and blank screens. Notifications rarely work and not as intended. Keep getting notifications that friends are on when they are not, and notifications for people I haven't selected to be notified about. App continues to get worse. Now half the screens appear blank or have no info.

The app is quite nice with good user interface and smooth navigations around but.. we need call of duty mobile stats on here too.. it's quite necessary for an app like this for both iOS and Android.. i mean.. it's called call of duty companion app.. CODM is no exclusion!

Can't look at team record on match history. Squads is totally screwed up. Can't set up classes anymore. Match history takes an entire day to update sometimes. This app has become basically useless honestly. Typical Activision. Can't even log into the stupid app anymore. Keeps doing the 2fa then doing another one and saying it expired after like 5 seconds. Activision ID turning in to absolute garbage in every form of the word. Useless, money hungry, server lacking garbage.

The current version of COD Companion App for Android is NOT essential for the average Zombies player; and, unless one wants an insider's angle for Bundles & Freebies, there is and never was any support for Zombies. However, if the player is alright with sharing their info (phone numbers, various cross-platform gaming and social accounts) with PC users (re: trolls) and even **shudder** Playstation fanboys, than this app is your key to taking that competitiveness and boosting it to CDL Level.

Would be better if it showed Seasonal KD as a highlight in addition to lifetime. Currently there are several apps/websites that compile all these stats far better than this official app. Hopefully this gets big changes for Warzone 2. App shouldn't default to opening Modern Warfare -> Multiplayer stats first whenever I open the app. I don't care about MP I only play Warzone

Since the newest update, it constantly tells me to make sure I have the right account linked. Every once in awhile it'll load up my account but when I got to a y page other than the Home, it'll tell me error.

Keeps asking for authentication code when my account doesn't have one activated. I even turned authentication on + downloaded the authentication app, clicked allow and it still wants me to type authentication code. I try typing it manually and it does nothing. I used this app 1 year ago and it worked fine. Most recent reviews are 1-stars which means Im not the only one facing problems...

Not even letting me sign into my account. I've tried to uninstall the app 3 time, but the app still didn't let me log in. I'm putting in the correct information, but it says invalid email or password. But when I try with my Xbox account, it says error and that I have to reload the app and try again. But when I did that it still would let me sign in. Definitely would not recommend this app.

Useful for checking match stats and combat records. That's about it. No option to edit account or username in app, says it'll send you to the CoD website but it doesn't work since nothing happens. Wanted to try changing them on the app, since the website is buggy and broken as hell. Haven't changed my username in about 2 years and it says I cannot change it, everything I've read online says I can. Yet another Activision app/system that is profoundly broken.

It doesn't work and keeps freezing. Lot's of features won't even load. Edit: After two years, it's still super laggy and slow and the support is always three steps behind from the games. Nothing worthwhile to offer.

Good companion app for COD:MW. Slow to update and/or load sometimes. 3/24/2022 update to review: App has stopped working and says my profile can no longer be found. I am not able to log back in after signing out in an attempt to fix the issue. I verified my account on the Activision site, so I know my account and profile is still valid. Just like the game, the app has it's bugs.

Currently almost useless. Stats are refreshing too slowly, other functions are not working properly. Getting notifications from friends who supposed to be "started playing", but the truth is that they are offline... for multiple days. Still getting push notification that they started playing.

2nd worst app on my phone. Constant pop ups. Always crashes. Can't access black ops cold War content (the whole reason I downloaded this pos app) even the bocw bundles i own don't show up in my owned bundles . No way to contact support. No way to set default to pull warzone stats instead of multi-player and when you click to warzone stats it crashes or won't load user names. Total trash. Do better.

I guess they gave up on this app. After the Caldera update, it lost the ability to give accurate info on friend activities. After the update on 3/23, you can no longer log in. I tried uninstalling and clear cache, and now it won't even load, after I reinstalled it. I guess it matches the state of this game now

Overall a good companion app, I just wish it had more stats, ability to compare stats, and messaging capabilities. EDIT-Changed to 2 stars cuz the only part of the app that works is checking your stats, but even that takes a while to update. Disappointing 😞
