The Accessibility Service setting always shows "Not working. Tap for info. This service is malfunctioning.". Then I reenable it and then it works again for a few days. It's really frustrating. Update May 2022: 1. I had already selected the app not to be optimized in the battery settings. 2. It is not possible to set the Total Recall app as device administrator. I only see two apps that I have that I can give this permission to. Total Recall is not among them. 3. The app had already been pinned in task overview. In summary: I already tried all of your suggestions. Unfortunately the problem persists.
I've been using this app for years. I got a new phone in January and even though i have given the app full permissions - including accessibility - it has not been working. When i play the audio in the app itself, its silent. When i play the audio in other apps it says "song missing". I thought it would sort itself out eventually or recieve an update but we are now 5 months in and it has not worked the once. If there is another setting i need to change, please let me know.
I used to love this app but with the upgrade to Note 20 ultra, it doesn't record other side. I know what I say, so it's useless! They draw me to another app with no real explanation how to use it. I did reinstall it but it still doesn't work. Just saw a flash about getting charged again but hope that isn't true since nothing ever recorded, not even MY voice this time.
Worked perfectly for years, however for the past 6 months, all that records is a loud tone (if anything records, at all). I've contacted tech support, via the app, at least 10 times, sending my system info each time. They respond, after about a week or two, with things for me to change on my phone. But NOTHING HAS WORKED.... My subscription terminates in 6 months, and I won't be renewing!!!!
Worked awesome on my Galaxy 7 edge. Worked for a week or two on my Galaxy 20 FE, then stopped. Keeps saying to enable in accessibility. I go to accessibility, everything is turned on for total recall. The loop continues. I try to record a call, nothing. I can't even manually record a call. I see a few people are having the same problem. Just woke up one day and it wasn't working. I do not have any auto updates turned on. I love this app and would like to see an update to address this problem.
Tried every setting. I have an older Moto G and it will only record my voice. UPDATE: It seems that the problem lies with Motorola and other certain manufacturers. They don't allow incoming signals to be recorded due to legal reasons .I'll be changing my phone then! In response to the developer's reply I tried every setting. All call recorder apps are the same
I have used this app for ages, I paid for the full version. It auto updated a while back, and regularly glitched out. I sent feedback, and heard nothing. I uninstalled, then reinstalled, only to find I have to pay yearly for this app. I paid, and for a short while, it worked. Now, it is the same as it was before..... Not working, or stopping mid phone call. I will not accept this from a free app, let alone one a paid app. Despite trying different things, it still isn't working 100% of the time!
quite good, only criticism is that the save/delete/play box doesn't always come up after a call is completed. when i realise this it is sometimes after a few calls and when i go into the app there is a list of calls all needing a decision on whether to save, etc. By this time i can't remember the conversations and don't know whether i want to save them or not!!
Just like other call apps, on latest software on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8Edge, it doesn't record any of the other party's audio when making a normal (non-Bluetooth/wired headset) call. What's more this app doesn't even manage to retrieve the contact details. The end result is that every time you make a call, it generates an empty audio file under the name "Unknown Contact". In response to developer questions, I have Android 9 with kernel 4.4.111.
Since the last upgrade, I can hear the caller loud and clear but my voice sounds like a micro whisper from a mile away. I have a Galaxy S8 and have asked the developer for help with this and they have not responded. Too bad as this was an awesome app up until the upgrade and an unresponsive developer. Unfortunately I am going to have to uninstall this app and go through the process of finding one that works
Calls are muted!!! In fact the only side recorded is my side, I can't seem to hear the other person's voice recorded. I did what you guys advised me to do, uninstall, reinstall, accepted everything, it does not work at all. As far as I can see from the other comments, this is the mainly problem your app faces. Unbelievable how you guys handle such an old issue. I just received the latest update and the app only
Have been using for 3 yrs now. Have been assisted in changing mobile S2 to S5. Everything very fine so far. Now having slight interaction problems between recently moved to (Samsung copy-transfer between the two mobiles rather than re-installing) Note 9 streamlining music while listening over Jabra headset and receiving incoming/outcoming call. No spontaneous return back to music streamlining as was the case with S5.
