Can't use without a subscription. £3.59 per month is cheapest. Advertises multiple call types, but there aren't. It's the same video every time. Customisations or not. Do t waste your money.
The buttons you have to press many times and the quality of The video calls arent great. Other then that the app is cute.
I like the app the only reason why I didn't give it 5 is because it's always so glitchy maybe next year they'll be able to like fix it up and make it less glitchy well overall it is a good app
This app is awesome for my sister. It makes my sister think that she is calling the real santa and do everything that her mom says so this app is so so good for kids I know the screen was glitching a bit but I don't care about it so yeah.
I like this app I just don't like how you have to pay for your child's name and other stuff. It's still pretty cool and if you have a small child they really think it's real! My 3 year old loved it!
I bought this app last year and it worked perfectly. This year, it wouldn't restore my purchase so I re-purchased it, since it worked so well last year. This time I can't even get the video to work properly. It only will show Santa and not a video of my kids. Ive emailed the company twice with no response. I wouldn't waste your money seeing how badly it has gotten compared to last year
I had the iOS version for awhile before buying the full version. Loved it. Since moving to Android, this version is awful. ADs nearly everytime you click in something. And, no scanner??? Sadly I paid for the blogs on the iOS in November. Went to Android in early December. We will miss this app.
Really disappointed with the app. We tried the free version and even paid out for the 'pro' version to try and get it working. Scheduled calls in twice which just froze after a few seconds and the one when we 'called Santa back' it talked through connection issues, but then froze straight after that! Very frustrating and my 4yo was really disappointed. Think we'll stick to calling a friend in future!
Terrible app. It takes so long to open, and I have to press every button several times before it saves. Finally got the video call info set up, but every time I try the call, it freezes up and kicks me out of the app. What a complete waste of $7. Don't charge people for a product that doesn't work!
It's an OK app. First of all, Santa lives in Finland not Canada so the incorrect mapping was a minor turn off, you have to pay for literally everything (which many people can't due to covid) and worst of all the calls are pre - recorded and you can't speak to him (hence the name of the app) and if you schedule a face time / video call he either doesn't call at all or the times flip, I set up a call for 3pm and got woken up at 3am. if you'd like to take notes, check out portable north pole.
This app is PERFECT! I noticed others gave low ratings because they said Santa only said one child's name and not the other. There are TWO sections in the setup to enter children's names, and once added, just make sure to click next to their names to show they are activated. Super SIMPLE!!! Also, there is a section where you can TEST the calls before actually calling Santa. If you don't hear ALL your children's names, then just go to their names and click ACTIVE! Easy when you follow the setup!
There were some glitches and I had to touch some buttons 6 or 7btimes but when I finally got it to work it really wasn't bad for free. I kept the app. Hopefully it'll be easier to use next time.
Edit 2: Awesome Thanks for the fix and fast response. Works good. Edit: leaving the stars because overall it's a good app it just doesn't work with android 12. Needs to be fixed Had some issues with the app at first but the dev got it fixed swiftly. The kiddos are happy and I'm thankful.
Hearing Santa call your childs name and seeing the response on your childs face is priceless! However, there should be an option (at additional costs) to provide the childs name if not listed. With an option to record the pronounciation of the name for Santa. This way the namelist can be extended and more names can be chosen as there are different names worldwide. NO ADS! . Which is wonderful and expected from a paid app!
Since paying for the app it won't even load. I have sent error reports and have had no feedback. I bought this app last year on my iPhone which was also a once off payment and now I was unable to retrieve that info and am now subjected to a subscription based method. Biggest issue is that the app doesn't work at all now.
Terrible. Slow , FULL of ads. So full of ads I never even got to the call. Terrible. DECEPTIVE ADS TOO! they make it look like you must click to continue but really it's an ad.
Really fun app for the kids loved seeing there faces when they video chatted with the big man himself and shared with family to see! Thanks Santa!
This is the best app but my parents doesn't want to waste their money and when my parents put their age, the video call is still not working!
Have to press the buttons a few times and keep resetting but my son loves it.
No response. I requested multiple times to have my child's name added to the list, weeks before Christmas and no response. That was one of the reasons I bought the full version. Will be canceling the subscription immediately.
It was very fun I couldn't stop smiling its a really fun app.
Price went up and functionality went down this year.

I have used this app with my Grandson since he was 3 years old and he looks forward to checking my phone whenever I come over. He wants to check and see if he is on the "nice"list for Santa. He knows if he needs to do some work to get back into Santa's good "graces" and make it back on there if he slipped that week. 🤔😊
My daughter loves it! It really seems realistic, she really thinks she's talking to Santa! And it makes her behave when she gets calls from Santa! I love this app and would recommend it to any parent of a young child - it's very effective!
