Also, not working on Android 12 (S22). In fact there is a bug in the app that force closes the app. Not reading message. Not saying name. Android 10 (yes, the switches are set to do so). App constantly "closing".
I love this app without any complications this is the only app that I have understood within the last 15 years and that's the truth not ashamed to say it so if you try this out from the beginning it might be a little difficult for certain ages like myself but you'll eventually get it and you can hear calls from your children you know who calling you'll know who you want to talk to I mean it's really really good app thanks to the makers of this app thank you very much for all senior citizens
so far so good. Had one singular on my last phone until I reset it and couldn't find it again. It's been working like it's supposed to so far. glad I found it. The one thing I don't care much for is while I'm talking on the phone it still reads my SMS out loud, if it had a button a switch where I could stop the loud verbal SMS while talking on the phone that would be great. But overall it's doing what I need it to do
I like this app, so far; however, I have 2 suggestions for improvements: give options customize initial delay before announcing and an option to customize delay between announcements if you are setting up announcements to repeat. In regards to the inappropriate ads: ads aren't inappropriate; just too many. A paid version with no ads, perhaps? Thank you for listening!
Galaxy S7, Android 8.0 - it announced incoming calls, but did not announce or read SMS senders or SMS contents. I was hoping it would be an acceptable replacement for ReadItToMe, which used to do both but now only does SMS, but it is not. Also, ads--often full-screen and usually the same ones-- appear with almost every other screen tap, which is annoying and excessive. Correct these faults (and allow selective SMS contact/contents reading like ReadItToMe), and it would be a great app.
It has access to my phone book but still saying unknown even though there is a name on the phone number. Useless if it can't say the name of the caller and it's always unknown.
This app( like the others) isn't consistent. I've had it for a week. In that time, it has announced one call from my contact, one call from unknown & one sms. It did this the second day I had it. Nothing since. And it doesn't work with bluetooth. I don't think any of these apps truly work.
This is the ABSOLUTE worst app. All calls say unidentified eventhough the numbers are on my contacts. Then tjier are the ads. Come on every button you press pops up not one but 2/3 ads. You spend more time hitting the X than accomplishing the task at hand. Less than one star but they won't let me. Two thumbs down.!!!
it doesn't always speak incoming message or caller name as it should. several times I have needed to try to set it up on a permanent means in the way it should work and it's become annoying to do over and over. I mean I know how to set it up but it has a mind of its own. discouraging
It's pretty good it's just missing the flashing flashlight to let you visually see that somebody is texting and or calling you but I'm getting in contact with the creators and seeing if we can alter that little situation or should I say rectify that little situation okay get out.
Works fine. But cannot stand the voice. Wish that could be changed.
Instead of saying the name of the caller,all it says is unknown is calling you.No good at all.
Haven't used it on this phone yet but on my other phone it works terrifically we'll have to see about this one
Does not speak the caller id through Bluetooth or phone speaker.
I set it up and it works for awhile, and then it stops announcing the name for calls or texts. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and again it works awhile and then stops announcing the name for calls and texts. Going to look for a different one to try.

Cannot set up app w/o being slammed with Tik Tok ads every 2 secs. The pitch of announcing voice is horrible. The bambardment of ads makes it NOT WORTH THE HASSLE to install! What a pain!!!
Does not call out the caller's name after installing Android 9. Performed all recommended fixes. Problem, I think, must be in the coding. Author, please check the coding. Great app if you can get it to work with Android 9. Will update my rating when it works to a five *.

Caller name is best app. It is easy to use. And it works perfectly. When my phone ring it announce caller ID.
At first, a little unsure. Then it really started speaking. I love all the different choices in the settings. Voice is clear and enunciated , and reads to the T. You should hear her sound out LOL or OMG or BRB or TBH!

Rated 1 for now, as app won't close the configuration screen without a rating or closure of the app, which would prevent testing. Now tested. Always says Unknown for caller/messenger. Will be uninstalling shortly

Seems to work ok so far but doesn't announce the callers name. Only says "Call from unknown person". Any suggestions then will increase to 5☆ No one bothered to answer me so demoted to 1☆
This application worked perfectly in the beginning. Now, I don't get notified when I have an incoming call or text. This is a great inconvenience for me because I got it to help me screen my calls and texts while driving 🚗. Although there was a recent update, it is still not giving me the performance advertised. Please fix this issue. Thank you in advance.
