Caller Name Talker
- For Marshmallow(Android 6) users, you need to open app once and give access to requested permissions for this app to work. App will not announce alerts without access to incoming call, contacts and incoming sms.
Caller Name Talker will read out incoming caller name, SMS sender name and battery low alerts for you. Not just that, Caller Name Talker can read Gmail, WhatsApp, imo, WeChat, LINE and Telegraph app alerts too. Now there is no need to search for your phone when you are driving or busy doing something away from phone. Caller Name Talker can even read entire message for you. You can control app using voice command as well.

Give this a try with your phone. I never got this to announce call on my phone. It looked like it had so much potential. A lot of options for voice, which was REALLY great. Accents, aliases for contacts, phonetic pronunciation... I do so wish this worked with me phone.
No longer works. I own an LG G7 thinQ on android 9, and since the last update, this has simply stopped working altogether. The only function I used was the name announcer for incoming call, and for me it worked perfect since day one, but sadly since the last update it is pointless me having it, so I have unfortunately had to uninstall and try to find a alternative.
The best application of its kind. Try only to make a more modern interface. Thebnew version does not work. Fortunately I kept an .apk file of older version, that works excellent (uncluding sms). Do not abandon this application. This is the most clever featured application of its kind. Good luck.
It's the second app that I used, but everyone keeps taking the features away. Some of us actually need our phones to read things aloud. Now you've made the app useless to me. I do need an app that actually reads the phone numbers and doesn't say it in millions or something and I needed it to read my texts.
This is my 2nd Caller Name Talker. The first suddenly crashed; I tried several others but only this one works. It does everthing I want and is easy to set up. It also lets me select specific contacts to NOT announce which saves me a lot of aggravstion
I have been using this App for years on all my Samsung phones. I have loved it, and would have given 5 stars but It quit working last year, and I have tried everything to get it to work again with my S9. I did email you about it, but never received a response. Please Help!
when I first installed this app it worked perfectly. now it no longer announces who's calling, doesn't give the phone number of who's calling. The only way I know who's on the phone is if the name pops up of who's calling... But it no longer announces and I can't figure out how to fix it.
Have loaded, opened, and completed settings and app does not work. I found it answers when it wants to and if it does it doesn't go to call screen so there is no way to answer.
This is a joke, it's Very misleading ! It doesn't work ☹️. I've had it installed, and Set up The I like it . And I've had incoming calls & Nothing happened . Meaning that the incoming CALLERS Name was Never Spoken the way it's supposed to the whole purpose of this kind of app ......... 👎👎👎🤔☹️😡. and you know to tell you the truth I'm really getting tired of trying to find apps for this purpose ! Love this simple app. I get a lot of spam/unknown callers and i hate to stop what I'm doing only to see it is a spam caller. It would be nice to have more voice selections to better personalize the use of the app Recommend!
Latest update has removed the speaking of text (SMS) which is a huge disappointment. Please could you put this part back into the app. It was brilliant and I'd gladly pay you for this app if you get it all back working again.
Doesn't work on my stock Huawei Mate 10 (Android 9.1) despite tweaking all the possible settings and resetting to default. Only the ringtone is heard, not the spoken caller's name.
Won't work on my new Moto One Android ver 9. All permissions were given, phone was re-booted. Does nothing when calls come in. Opened App and hit trouble shoot button and it reports all OK.
I have searched all call announcer in play store but I couldn't get much better than this app. But, Sir I'm little upset, I tried all device button to stop continuing announcing voice. By shaking device to stop announcing is not so possible at anytime. Is there any solution sir?. Thank u sir....
It keeps asking me to update but I'm trying to hold on to the old version because I require the app to read my SMS messages
Works perfect I use it for long time and works perfectly Recently i had change my cellphone and the app doesn't work, i emailed them and they send me the proper version to adapt my new phone Perfect teamwork

This is the best 'incoming call prounancer' app that I've ever known. Unfortunately it doesn't work with Xiaomi Redmi 6, Xiaomi Note 7 because of Google politics... But feel free to contact the developer for getting app without Google restrictions - I did it and it works perfect
What a life saver. Love this app! Took me a while to customize it to my liking. Couldn't figure how to raise the voice volume, learned it was in "call volume". Love, love, love!
This is a great working app. I have used this for years in until droid 11, when goog decided stop allowing apps like this to work. I am hoping that this dev will update it. Its a hands free operation. It will wait for Yes command to answer and read sms. Happy to pay for it if... Pretty Please update...
Didn't work! I set it up for phone calls & messages. People in my phone directory called or sent messages & they were NOT announced! I deleted it after 2 days. Waste of time!!
I am not able to set it as default app for speaking out contacts name. The default option is disabled. Please provide me the needful solution for the same.
I installed it on my android 10 and set everything. However, when I tested it, nothing. It's just the ring, no caller name announced. Uninstalled it.
The app has stop working does not announce callers or who is sending a text any longer. I really did like it before it stopped working
Last time I gave 5 , bcoz the app was amazing, it seems you removed the interactive option , which gives you option to say yes to read the message .I liked it very much, why did you remove it?
I switched from an LG phone to the Galaxy by Samsung and lost the built-in ability for talker ID. My nephew found this app for me and it was simple to install, however I don't find it as user-friendly as I would like it to be. It seems to work at times and at other times it does not and I have to go back into the settings and check them all. It appears there are still some bugs in this system. I will have to go back to the settings again and try to make sure that I have checked the appropriate boxes so that I get more consistent usage.
