There are settings such as colour, line thickness and transparence for each tool.Slope angle settings of the wide pencil are from 0 up to 90 degrees. For the thin pencil up to 360 degrees.Zoom.You can open your image adn photo.
Your drawings can be saved for the further processing.

This app has replaced me using a paper works great with or without a stylus. The developers are amazing and I would recommend it over carrying a notebook not to mention other apps. This is an essential app for me and one of the first I put on my phone as I use it for work , courses. Its replaced all my paper notes and not much better developers out there. Not sure what else you need to know, people are quick to find negatives especially online but theres nothing wrong with this app (daily user)
easy to use with a great variety of ways to customize your lettering and drawings. very "real" feel with the touch sensitive pens. i recently started practicing caligraphy about a year ago and this is a great tool to get my technique down for diff font styles without having to spend money on expensive pens and wasting paper. plus its cool that you can save your creations and apply them elsewhere. very easy to use and wont take you long to figure out just by doodling and changing pens & backdrops
This otherwise beautifully rendered app is slow makeing the features seem painfully lacking. On top of the fact that it's plagued with bugs that make just about everything laughably impossible to achieve. I have down loaded this app on six different devices over the better part of two years .I can only tell you of one instance where they managed to eek out about one thirty day period that led to me checking back after all of this time. I fear that has now come to an end.
This app appears so far to work correctly and is a nice free pen and ink app. The controls are very small and hard to make out. it would be helpful if they were larger or darker or I'd give another star. It's good for fancy signatues and other small calligraphic tasks, with the benefit of undo and no inky fingers.
Awesome no it's great than great... but let me tell my view... I can't bring a font (from a library or a scanner) so I can build on it easy (OFL)... I can't recall a work to adjust... I can't export my work in other formats... many many other problems but the works fine with no problems very awesome app if you are a in FONT DEVOLVING BUSINESS... if you get this just tell me so I can change my rating
Actually this is a simple useful app.... It started quite well, unfortunately after a while the paper could not stay still. It kept moving/panning around with the stylus. It would be great if it had a lock button or the developer fix the bug. Thanks
Has its own life lol I'm in the middle of doodling when it suddenly restarts itself hence, losing my ongoing work. Tried again, it prompted me to save or discard while in the middle of doodling. Liked the effect but this kind of behavior won't work for me. How the advertisement present itself is intrusive.
Trial, but its ok. The thing I would suggest is that when in full screen mode, You should have the eraser, reset, font size, color and back. In a simple, resisable movable bar. or just make the tools bar customisable. And lastly, in dark mode. Please.
Amazingly useful and easy-to-use. I'm not native English, and I'm using this helpful app to improve my English handwriting, without wasting any paper. I think these art-related apps are very cool. Especially this one. Please keep the good work up. Thank you guys.
Well.... I liked this very very much and want to do calligraphy. It's a very good app. But could you please make an easier way for you to erase what you've done I know there's a bin button but an ad pops up. Try something like two finger tap if the screen to undo and three finger tap to redo. You guys that use ibis painter know what I'm on about
Okay, adter using this ap for about 2 wks, here is my overall critique. I havent figured out what the icon that is a fountain pen with two curved lines behind it actually is? And if there was some way to lock in the zoom featured so that it doesnt change when you move. When I zoom into, say 500% to write & scroll over so i can write the next word, it will change the percentage. It takes time & patience to put it precisely back to 500%.If you can fix this, ill totally give yall 5 stars.
This app is one of the best, simplest, and easiest to use to make free-hand calligraphy. Not only is this great for its intended purpose (Old English calligraphy, I assume), rotating the brush will allow you to create Arabic calligraphy with ease. A preset between 60-70 will work for Thuluth, 45 for Diwani and 0 for Egyptian. Great app!
I enjoy this app very much. It gives you the freedom of expression and fun. Calligraphy is an excellent choice for the name of the app. Many people will love this for a hobbie, personal goals or just to improve penmanship.
Very good this is. I particularly like how you can write on your own photos, from your phone's gallery. On my tablet, however, it keeps stopping and asking me if l want to save my work. It doesn't do that on this phone.
this app is really nice, it helps you to ofc use variety of fonts at the same time. Well, however, I'm just a bit annoyed of that as I thought it would let me write that type of calligraphy that I see normally everywhere like the cursive, smooth and bold ones but I am satisfied with this app.
Serves the purpose. A bit primitive and undos are limited, but generally does what it claims to do. I didn't see grid option, which would be benefitial for proper calligraphy practice. Overall recommended...
Is a nice paint program that focuses on calligraphy tools. UI is very nice and doesnt distract you while remaining unintrusive. Pops out at one very quickly.
Great app but ads are obtrusive. Was looking for an app like this but I was in a place where I was expecting to be quite and an ad WITH SOUND started. I don't mind ads and might even pay for pro later but this is a real turn off.
Lots of customizable effects for variety of Pens & Brushes. The interface is clean & simple for simple easy writing art; kinda like wordpad vs m.s word.
This app is very useful of when I want to draw, and when I don't have a sheet of paper with me! But for this app, I do suggest you have a tablet, or an iPad, and a device pen. Without any of those, I do think this app won't do any good for you!! This is MY opinion! No hate! :)
super cool and i just love the way that the writing looks,i just wish i could actually write like this on paper lol but the phone will have to do cause i guarantee it wouldnt look anything like what it is supposed to if i tried on paper. and I love that you can save it so that I could possibly go print copies of what I write or make for pictures. love love love the app💜💙💜💙
Great App! It actually lets you write each letter in calligraphy, which is what I was looking for. You don't use some pre-loaded font that they choose for you.
Was glitchy for me. When I'd choose a color and writing tool, it would keep going back to erasing instead of writing. Also doesn't backspace far enough and to trash it resets your color.
Like the app a lot. But the ads are really intrusive. Would like the opportunity to pay for an ad free version.
I personally found the app to be suited to my requirements with the allowance of artistic freedom as well as great preset options.
This is a beautiful, simplistic, and we'll made app. While it was not what I was looking for, if you have experience writing calligraphy and you are seeking an app that lets you properly write it out, free hand, with multiple color & design options for both ink and background, this is the app for you. If you are looking for something to convert regular text into calligraphy, like I was, it is not.
