Easy to set personal target, and add food snacks and exercise throughtvthe day. So far all branded foods and single items have been found easily, and you can adjust portion size. Still have to work out how to upload home prepared recipes and retain this info. Did learn very quickly that unsurprisingly half a tube of Pringles consumes a significant chunk of the daily allowance, and through the other half in the bin! Free trial was fine but found it very difficult to subscribe for the pay option
I cannot add some food items to the meals, even if there are ones that come up when I search or ones that I have added before. For example, I wanted to add frozen berries to breakfast that I had for breakfast the day before. When I clicked on item and then clicked to add to breakfast, nothing happened. This happens a lot and I will have to stop using the app as it's very frustrating.
This would be a great app if i could adjust my calorie goal to what I want it to be or edit individual parts of my profile without having to go through the whole thing each time. Can't even change the target weight date. As it is my PT set my goal st 1850 but this app won't let me set that and will only set either 1940 or 1670 whatever information i put in.
LOVE IT!! I am in love with this app! It is super easy to use, tons of great features and choices 😀 It is so incredibly easy to just scan a bar code and boom! You can even input your own stuff..and include a picture. I did it for my collagen shakes 😀 Love it!
Fab app. I have loosely followed sliming world for years but it has stopped working. Spoke to dietitian who recommended cutting carbs. Tried for a few weeks but ended up so confused trying to work out what is good and what I should avoid. This app has every single food I have entered and has made the diet easy. Will definitely be subscribing when my free trial runs out
Although the counting tools are good and the food database, appears to be good. It dosnt allow you to set your own goals, forcing to select from pre-selected nutrition goals, none of which match what I have been set, which totally ruins the app. £35 wasted.
This is a fabulous app. The database is awesome. It is the perfect tool to lose weight. The app never falls over. Also staff are very helpful if you do email with a question. Can't rate highly enough!
Whilst the app is good it is so frustrating when the app will not link with Android motion sensor one day it works the next it doesn't I did the yearly subscription last year and it is due very soon but unfortunately I think I might end up trying another app to see if that is any better
this app is fantastic, it takes all the hard work out of dieting in my opinion the hardest thing about loosing weight is incorporating variety into your diet. also the scanner really works, you just scan what you fancy and you'll know straight away wether you can incorporate it into your nutritional allowance , the days of living on lettuce to loose weight have gone.
Great app been looking for one that you can put in the weight if the food item. Since that is the only way to get an accurate calorie count. One complaint is somtimes it does not get the right type of food or calories for a scaned item, I wish there was a way to report this.
An excellent App. that I've been using for about 3 years. The Database is quite extensive & is no problem entering personal Foods, Meals, Recipe's etc. Nutritional analysis showing average personal intake over 1 day, 1 week or 1 month instantly shown. The Service Team are second too none, often getting replies long after normal working hours & weekends. Thanks to all at Nutracheck
After years of false starts, using the app has helped me drop from 92.8kg to 80.8kg in 4 months. I feel healthier and am wearing clothes 2 sizes smaller. Blood pressure has improved. Tips: get digital scales for food; chocolate flavoured rice cakes for sweet cravings; 'lightest' cream cheese; dry white wine in 125ml glass. Contrary to all the advice I've seen, weigh yourself every morning but only record the days when you reach a new low. It is very motivating.
Great app, really helps you focus on your intake and exercise every day. I was quite sceptical about using an app at first, but wow, has it focused my efforts and seeing the calorific content of various foods and ingredients is a real eye-opener, but also shows just how effective a brisk walk on the beach is! Just one month on, we're both looking and feeling better, we can see the weight coming off, week by week, but we're also eating good quality meals, too. This app has played a big part.
This app has been a lifesaver to help me get my teenage son back up to a healthy weight after serious illness. The barcode scanner is brilliant and seems to identify everything I scan. I pay for the full version.
I like the app and the interface for entering your meals. I just wish it linked to garmin connect the way other food tracers do. I realise the steps sync but it doesn't sync the other way with garmin picking up the calories entered into this app.
really intuitive to use, great value too. remembers your recent food choices so it gets quicker to use the more you input. Has photos of the food you search for which makes it quicker too. I can't recommend this app enough.
If you are in the correct head space you need look no further than this app to help you on your journey to weight loss or gain if you need to gain weight. This is a well informed app and I do recommend it to others if they are looking for tools to help them. This app has 5 or so plans you can choose from." If your ready give it a try" I don't think you will be sorry you did...
It's one of the better apps for calorie counting and nutrition checking. I'm just annoyed how it makes me feel that I eat no veggies or fruit when I sometimes drink smoothies instead. It doesn't count where it should. Plantain is a fruit/vegetable too you know? Apart of that, I liked it. But I won't use it anymore past the free trial (there are no ads which is a big bonus)
Very useful app for counting calories and so much more. I love that I can save recipes and meals and add these at a later date as and when I eat them. Saves so much time. Really useful to be able to see a weekly break down of calories and food groups (fat, protein, carbs) and compare that with what's happening with your body /health. Very good value if you pay annually works out at about £2 per month. Also you are not forced to join forums if you don't want to.
This app looks great and easy to use. I have family that highly recommend I use this app. However I cannot connect my smart watch. If you don't have a fitbit or garmin then it seems useless. If it added a simple feature of connecting a watch via Bluetooth then this app would be a lot more inclusive and would be improved greatly. I walk a lot for my job and cannot have my phone on me during my shift. Very disappointed.
Taught me how much I actually need to eat. *update* I started using this app when I did a sports nutrition course during the 1st lockdown. It's a really easy way to keep an eye on calories in and out and the challenges help you focus if you need it. I like the barcode reader and the recipe add. Will continue to use for the foreseeable.
