New favorite app. I can press some buttons, what I cant do is stay awake while reading nutritional advice. I love that this does all the calculations for me then cartoon Dr tells me I'm awesome at the end 😎 It's also amazing that every review seems to be responded to from a small staff🏆🏆🏆I'm hoping you could help me figure out how to tell this app that I'm trying to go vegan.
I use this app on my Chromebook. Do you have a program for laptops? I would give this app 5 stars if it had an option to lock in the serving sizes of foods w/o having to change it every time it is selected in future uses. (I try to eat full size servings of fruits and vegetables and 1/4 to 1/2 servings of most other foods.)
The app overall is good just some issues for example there is alot of adds mostly related to food. I mean if I'm struggling with food I don't want to see an add with a big Mac on it.
I wish it was easier to find and make a recipe. Its kinda hard to log a home made recipe unless you log each ingredient individually
I have been using this app for a little more than a week & I like it so far. I have 2 complaints which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5... 1st the The food look up option seems to be missing a lot of generic brands & it sometimes seems to be slightly inaccurate (not by much, I am just more noting that it's not as accurate as I have seen in other apps), 2nd I wish it had a recipe creator like MyFitnessPal has, I do a lot of homemade meals that I don't know the calories for & that would help.
Although it's a little difficult to get the hang of, it an amazing app! Just wish there were easier ways to track home-made foods, or others, without scans.
Enjoying the app. Very helpful in in tracking meals calories and exercise. Not totally convinced of the accuracy of the data, but willing to continue with goal. However, a better explanation of the dashboard and color code would be helpful, explaining (intake, outake, balance) etc.
I just started using this app and I have no problems yet! Easy and fun way to track what you eat! I love that this app doesn't make you pay. This app is great and perfect for me. If I have any problems I will update.
Very limited food options. Wish it would link to MyFitnessPal and import all the data.
Would like to see a spot to add in vitamins for tracking, and an option to toggle them on or off to see how they affect the daily value intake with the food. Lots of times I get advice saying I am low in a vitamin food-wise, like Vitamin D for example. But I know I am not as I am supplementing with it daily. Would also like less reminders to weight in. Not everyone wants to weigh every 2nd day. Also not every day will be the same calorie goal. Would be nice to set the daily calorie range myself.
it's a good app if you're just doing a basic diet or just trying to eat better but you can't change the Marcos (low carb, high protein, etc) if you want to you have to pay $4.99 a months which is sad because i wanted advice on my new keto diet
Really good app, the only two issues I've run into are my food allergies, it's hard to account for that and still listen to the advice given by the app, I'm gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant and have a major shellfish allergy. The second is the social side of the app, a lot of users have ED's and use the app to keep them on track, there are many triggers in the social category for people struggling with ED. It definitely needs active moderators.
Overall the app is good and helpful, but if you install this app, do NOT look through the "social" option. There isn't anyone moderating it and there isn't the option to turn it off or hide it (from what I can see.) If you have an ED or worry you might, play it safe and don't install.
Overall the app gives a good look at your macros and where they are overall and for each meal. The app is a little cluttered though.
Very useful app but some tips would be better suited if I was able to adjust body statistics.
It is really good cuz it helps you set goals and tells you the amount of calories in the foods
Just does all the thinking for me and shows what Im missing in my diet. Just a great app. I do wish the search would find more stuff but entering in my own food doesnt take too long anways.
Just got the app and I'm setting up my goals. I think there should be an option when setting the Macros, to put in your own percentages. Because my dietary plan has a 50% fat intake, with 20% & 30% for the other two, and there isn't an option close to that.
Great for tracking water, and food caloric intake. Integrates with Google Fit to calculate caloric output, which was an important factor for me. It has most of the foods you can find, but it favors food from restaurants, when I have food made at home, either I can't find it or it suggests business versions, so I find the closest match. You can input your own foods, but it asks for a slew of industry data. Easy to setup and use which makes it more likely to keep using.
The AI tips are awesome, and the free FitBit integration is great, but the interface just isn't intuitive. Adding foods takes too many taps, and often you have to go back and edit entries if you had a different amount than the default. When entering food, the stuff you ate most recently is shown first, but why would I log my dinner foods at breakfast? You can add custom foods, but you can't build them from ingredients, you have to enter all of the macros and vitamins, which takes way too long.
Easy to use and keep track of meal calories throughout the day. Also the exercise log is very helpful. App even helps log your water intake. The analysis is great to see how you are doing with helpful tips and encouragement. It is the best one i have found. The drop down menus to select items consumed are very extensive and also have the ability to add your own foods to list. Just all around awesome!
I've tried a lot of different apps throughout the years. This one is definitely the easiest to use, you can both scan packaged food that has a qr code and you can add foods like "banana" by typing it into the search. The app also allows you to break down each meals total nutrition with bars and goal ranges, I thought this was a nice touch as most apps just dont have this added feature.
Logging meals is easy, it's visually appealing, and the macro/micronutrients chart is a great way to see your healthy daily intake. It would be nice if the app told you that you start with a free trial activated by default. Also, the premium page in-app advertises losing weight 2x as fast, which doesn't seem to be supported by any research. This claim isn't present on the websites FAQ either, so it seems a little deceptive. Paying $4.99USD a month won't make the pounds come off by itself.
I wish there was a section to combine the calories of ingredients for a meal in the homemade foods section. Otherwise, this app is really easy to use and gives you both sides of the spectrum. Whether you want to gain or lose weight it gives you a estimated caloric intake based off your body and timeline for your goals. Which is something not offered by a lot of other calorie counter apps.
Hi, I am happy with all the aspects of this app like being able to change goal weight, have daily activity logged and it looks like a good food data base as well. My only wish is that I could opt for a one time fee to get rid of ads. Although I see that the monthly subscription of $4.99 is reasonable, please advise if the one time fee option becomes available. Thank you for all the hard work to make this an easy to work app.
I like this app but Im not getting good advice from the app because there is no way I can input into the formulas that I'm celiac which cuts a lot of things that I can eat in my diet out. Also it doesn't seem like you can appropriate that you're wanting to eat more ketogenic or paleo. I think that would be an important option to want to incorporate into the counter. I'm happy otherwise.
I have never left a review on an app before, but this one has improved my life so much I just had to :D It's the most user friendly calorie counter I've found, and I've stuck with it for the past three months. It does all your calculations for you, and gives you really good advice every day. It's super easy to plug in your meals and see how you did/how you're doing. I'm using the free version, and it's still extremely helpful with NO payment :3 I recommend this app to anyone :D
Love the ease, flexibility and visibility of all the foods, water, & all the exercise factors! They are all very manageable to manipulate and enter. It's great to look up or even add foods. The easiest diet App I have ever used! The Advice is very helpful. It's super user friendly. Looking forward to losing more weight!!
I like that it tells you vitamins and iron along with calories, however, overall I find this app very frustrating. I was trying to log a snack and instead of giving me the nutritional facts for the snack it added it to what I alreadry eaten that day. And also it doesn't allow you to put it specifically what you ate you have pick one of their options, which doesn't always work. Maybe there is something I missing, not sure.
The first week free trial is great. After that trial time, you have to pay for premium to see how you are doing through the day. It could be addicting the first week but without the feed back, it got a bit boring and it wasn't long enough to get habitual with it. Also a little tricky if you do a lot of home made food.
