I recently became aware of the importance of taking all nutrients my body needs during diet. I am new to this topic so I use the nutrition guide to educate myself about what is each nutrient, why it is important, what I can eat to take enough of that nutrient. This page is like a very helpful self-pace nutrition course for me and I enjoy using it.
I like the barcode scanner, I scan any snack I want to pick in grocery and make sure it is a healthy option. Since I started this practice, I found so many of my regular snacks are filled with added sugar and sodium!♥
I sometimes cook from their recipes to explore new foods and try something new. The filter helps in finding the right recipes (ie. the ones that follow my diet and also quick to make so fit my busy schedule)
I love forums in this app. Weight loss is not easy and being part of a community with similar goals and seeing their progress helps me continue my diet. I read others posts and ask my questions when I face problems in my diet and people are kind to share tips or similar experiance and how they dealt with it. It is very hart warming and also very helpful.
They recently added a intermittent fasting page, super helpful. Love it and it's great to not have to download multiple apps at once.
I like that I can see the additives in foods when I scan the barcode, this helps me eat healthier foods. I have been surprised by seeing high risk additives on the smoked salmon we usually buy and switched to another brand that doesn't have that additive so I am happy I can chose my food wisely now and highly recommend everyone to try this app
I like the scoring system they have for foods. I can find if a snack is healthy or not by one quick look. No need to go down to micro list and figure it out.
I started using it 4 months ago and now I can see the fruits coming out! I not only lost 10lbs but I also feel better and healthier. Keep using the app and not get discouraged if you don't see progress early in your journey
I like the recepie section, I find new recepies to try every now and then and the filter helps a lot in choosing the food (for my case, I always filter on cook under 30min and low carb)!!
Really needs a way to freely change settings such as conversion charts, I don't want to have to do math all the time just to add a 16 oz glass of whole milk to my diary. Also just because others say something is poor nutrition doesn't mean you have to label it constantly. There needs to be a way to remove these settings. Also I do not jog so getting notifications when I open the app to log my activities I don't need. I liked this app originally just to log my food and calories and macros.
They changed the layout this year, initially needed some getting used to but now it has very clear set of steps and instructions to do every day to reach my weight goal target
The recipes section and fitler is very nice, also the addtivies for some of the barcodes scan really helps give a full picture of the food so I don't just focus on carbs or macros.!
I have heard about intermittent fasting from friends but I never tried it myself. recently read about its benefits and how it affects weight loss in this app and decided to give it a shot. I liked the experience of it using this app; getting related info to each stage of fasting I'm in throughout fasting hours and getting notification at the end of the fast duration
