EDIT (7/27/20): THIS APP HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED IN SOME TIME AND NO LONGER HAS CORRECT TIMETABLES. This app is great. It has a simple, user-friendly interface while using a small amount of storage space. You don't need wi-fi or data to use it, but if you don't choose to have this app auto-update in the google play store, you may miss out on updates w/ new timetables. I've missed trains for this reason. Be sure to check the "auto update" or double check arrival times in Google maps.

Update 2: You've screwed me for the last time Caltrain app. Apparently the schedule was updated about 3 weeks ago (not my normal stop), and no that train route no longer exists. Other apps are up to date. Uninstalling. Back to 1 star. :'-( Update: schedule is back up to date, and this is once again my favorite Android Caltrain app. Fingers crossed for future updates. Old: The schedule has been out of date for weeks now. I think the developer has moved on, I guess i will have to as well. :-(

edit: they updated it! i actually really like this app. the user interface is simple and intuitive. the only complaint i had was that the timetables didn't get updated when Caltrain changed them, but the devs were able to update it in a timely manner. -update the time tables and I'll update my review-

Developer has abandoned the app with zero warning. At the very least, (s)he could update the app letting us know it is no longer accurate. I missed a late night train as a result.

Train #262 does not show all the stops. I have been reaching the station before 4:23 but never took 262 as it showed the last stop as Diridon station when it would actually go Tamien and more station too. I was relying the app a little too much when it didn't show the basic most important information. Disappointed😌

It was a very useful app, but they don't support it anymore. The schedule is not updated for a month now .. Edit: back to 5* They updated the schedule and life is good again :)

UI is great and easy to use, but the train times are out of date. Multiple times are no longer accurate. Please update times to latest. (Train 262 SB PM)

Caltrain being caltrain, it would be great if this app had the option of showing trains to your station +- one stop, to let you get a train that gets you close rather than wait around for an hour for something exact

Best Caltrain schedule app by most standards, but the schedule is outdated now after April 1st, 2019. Hope they'll update soon as I'm forced to use Caltrain mobile site for accurate schedule in the mean time.

Times were wrong for a few weeks. I submitted a review and they fixed it (which is good), but wish they had done it on their own.

App is not accurate. Times have not been updated. I missed 2 trains today thinking I missed it because it was early.

unlike the other caltrain app this one doesnt show you transfer options for non express train stops... please add that as if you ride caltrain from a non frequently stopped at station this makes it useless for you

Amazing app but please update to the new October 7th caltrain schedule. The current times displayed in the app have been incorrect for over a month now

Excellent! Does exactly what you need with a clear and intuitive interface.

Normally this app is reliable, but today 7/5 the schedule didn't adjust for the holiday. I've been waiting for an hour.

I don't take CalTrain often, but when I do,I always use this app, and it does exactly what it says. Clean easy-to-use interface. Love it.

Schedule is wrong and station times are incorrect. Caltrain runs an A and B service through the day. App is garbage.

Wrong schedule because it hasn't been updated. Angry I missed the train that didn't exist.

This is the essential app for reliable and thorough Caltrain scheduling, map, and news.

The train times are unreliable which is the entire point of the app.

Very useful app. However it only gives scheduled departure times, not actual.

Who ever is in charge of the news updates and delays need to do a better job. Had to sit in a 30 min delay and the conductor was no where to be found. No updates on why the train was sitting at the station. If I'm paying big bucks to take Caltrain, at least let people know what is going on. It's 2020 people.

Simple and neat. Could not ask more from the third party developer. Great work.

The app has not been updated to the current schedule. Completely messed up my day.
