Cam Viewer for Wansview Cams

Works great. Very easy to set up and use. Speakers works great. I am using with wansview cams.

I have 4 NCL cameras that have audio but this app will not play the audio. Also no time, date, and framerate shown. This is good to ensure the vid is not "stuck". And when taking screen shots it is good to see the time and date in the pic. This app connects every time and I like the user friendlyness of this app. But this app needs to be upgraded. I have another free app that will do all of this. But that app has sparatic connection issues.

It's an ok app which at least gives us access to see the camera easily. However can't find where the record function stores videos (can only find a load of jpgs). Plus the app isn't great at adapting to different screen rotations. Also what more does the $4.99 upgrade provide you with? Overall seems to be ok though

Cam viewer does what it advertises. Couldn't get OEM player to work on my new phone. This app worked immediately.

Only problem i can't see what going on at home from my smart phone . when I am not home .. But works fine when I am home wtf

In addition to port forwarding, you will need a web address. The one on the bottom of the camera does not work anymore. I got a free one from D-Link since I own one of their routers.

I've got two older versions of Wansview and been using this app for a number of years. Just got a new Wansview, NCM625GA, and it doesn't seem to support it, which is slightly annoying.

Works well as a viewer and pan-tt controller for my wansview ncm625w camera. But I can not find a way to play audio as well as video from the camera.

Can not view when linked WiFi with the same router . Simple enough and user friendly

Works with my wansview 541 cheapy cam very well.

No problems with App but Wansview camera is poor hardware

It might work with all wansview but the resolution is so low its useless with 720p models

It works fine at home, but not away from home

Works fine on my Nexus7, Note4, Note2 and S3.

Can't get it to work with the Wansview K2.

Once I figured out what my external ip address is and that is the one I needed.

Are the cameras awailable in Iceland?

The most recent update reset all my camera types to "common" and all stopped working. Once I figured or the problem and edited the cameras to their proper types it worked again.

It seems like a good start... But could be more stable. Would be better if it had all the functionality of the web app.

I guess this App somehow worked, before it was released, but in my particular case: It don't! I have several Wansview pan/tilt cams at home behind an Apache2 webserver with mod_proxy. Browsers work but wether the shipped app nor this app in specific works as desired.

I Have internet in my phone but it will only work if I'm on wifi so it's pointless I want one that I can view anywhere I go. Unless it's because I don't have the full version??

This doesn't work on the NCM625W v2, in terms of pan, tilt and presets. They tried to fix it but in trying they seemed less competent at what they do. They didn't seem to understand URL's either so that part of app doesn't work. Been trying to get money back but strangely gone quiet! Sure the app is worth 5 stars on other cameras and if using IP, but I'm not. In trying other apps they all have same front end and problems so they aren't on their own, assume this is a generic app people just tweak.
