Scamming for a buck! Don't buy! This is just an worthless app and its each and every function is available on the free CamCard application. Anything you need would ask you to buy premium membership.

I've been using this app for several years and have found it to be invaluable. Taking a photograph of the business card and then having the software convert it to a contact is fantastic. The software rarely makes an error and when it does it is easy to correct. I highly recommend Cam card to anyone who is diligent about maintaining accurate and up today contacts.

AVOID! I was very happy user. Just got back to office and needed to find an old contact. Happily opened the app and it just states: no cards. I had HUNDREDS of scanned cards, corrected by hand. And now nothing... All gone. Tried to sync, and restore and other functions in the app, but nothing. I wasted so much time making the cards. All of the effort is now lost forever. And the subscription ofcourse is gone.

Assssshhhhhhhhh####ol I paid already and using my own email for the registration. When I installed back again, it asked to subscribe again. I just check back the Developer it is ch**n*a made, no wonder scammed.

How many upgrades? I tried the free version which was ok so bought the full version (or so I thought). Unable to export contacts to outlook so everything is locked in the app. I also found out I am limited to 500 cards for the paid app. But if I upgrade "premium" and pay the monthly fee I can export my contacts and have unlimited scans. I wonder if there is a platinum service after that ? Tired of being held hostage to these types of apps

Nice experience. It's a good application but the issue is that on upgrading my Outlook to the latest version with Windows 10, syncing is stopped permanently. Additionally, the developer has increased its monthly subscription charges without any basis or attending the concerns of Customer.

Been using this app for 6 years and it's fantastic. Text recognition has greatly improved and if say it went from 69% when I first installed to 95% usable without manual edits. Does everything I need. Keeps all the captured stuff in the cloud and sync as push to my Google contacts. Now that I only use the auto capture and auto sync features. I did lose some contacts in their system after a phone swap 4 years ago but since then it's kept everything accurate and archived 4 iPhones and 10 Android

Ever since the addition of premium proofreading service, the accuracy of this app on anything cards using very standard font seems to have decreased. Is it my imagination? Either way, it still lacks ability to assign fields when it has mixed up eg email and phone fields. It cannot sync by itself, you have to manually run it each time.

Been using the full paid version of this app for years. Always worked great. Always let me save cards to any of the Google accounts on my phone. Now suddenly I need a premium subscription just to be able to save to my Google accounts? Is it wrong to feel betrayed by the developer? Sorry, I'll be looking for a different app now, and not recommending this to anyone. In fact, if I find one that gives me the functionality I USED to have after paying for the app, I'll come back here and update the review for others' benefit.

This is a very great idea for an app, it's nice to have a digital place for all of me buisness card to be synced up and available right away. I'm pretty impressed with the app being able to detect phone numbers and name, and I like how it creates contact for you to easily get in touch with buisness partners. I highly recommend this app

This app does not work even the paid version. Free version worked for a while then when I changed to a new Android phone it refused to sync the cards across. Very disappointing as I don't have approx 100 cards on the new phone. Don't buy this one or even bother with the free version. as you will be let down.

Except mobile number, it can not capture any other information from card. After scanning you will find garbage value in every field. You need to correct everything. You have to type the entire card details. It's not an intelligent app. Also I am unable to understand the deference between paid version and free version?

An unscrupulous company. did a bait and switch. I paid for a premium version, but developer changed the terms of service such that the we now have to pay a subscription on top of the price of the app. So don't waste your time putting in your cards as terms may change and you will lose what you put in our be forced to pay higher price.

Wow.... Almost any card needs alot of adjustment. There is no intelligence eat all. Like matching first name and first name in mail address or that usually streets send with the word street and not s1reet. (German edition) and there is no matching with any kind of dictionary. The scanning process is full of bugs. I am very disappointed. It would have been a great app 5 years ago. But it needs alot of improvement 😳

Have been using it for 7 yrs great, efficient app. You can make it default instead of your phone's contact book just select options for saving to other apps contacts including phone contact book and those options can also be auto set with one click when saving it in this app. No need to share, copy or transfer and save with other apps as additional steps. Time saver, can do badges. I would do 100 every day back in 2013, used other apps. Has better recognition.

way better than a pile of paper cards! the ocr makes plenty of mistakes but gets enough right to help find cards, or you can easily correct. there's always a picture of the card stored with the entry, so for my purposes i let a lot of mistakes go. importantly you can export everything from time to time.

Unbelievable, feels like fraud: I bought premium because of the sync feature - and now the developer just decided to downgrade the app, remove sync, limit to 500 cards. And force me to buy premium AGAIN. This feels like fraud! Can't recommend to buy this app, since it seems you'll be at the mercy of a ruthless moneymaker to decide how long he let's you use it. Contacted the developer and will update if there is any resolution of the issue.

The card reader is great, or should I say WAS great until they removed the ability to sync to Google contacts. Now you have to pay USD50 a year to have that feature. I guess it's the price to pay for their cloud server but it's too costly for such an app.

I travel all over and collect a lot of business cards. I love this app because I am able to take a photo and have all there information saved in my phone. I also love it because I am able to make different kinds of groups. that way I don't have to scroll down and search. each state I travel I make a state group and put those cards in. this app helps me stay managed on my contacts and where my contact's are located. If anyone doesn't want to carry thousands of business cards I recommend this app.

I loved this app at first, scanned well and picked up all the important data. Lately it has been crashing a lot and is always running in the background using battery. I cannot think of a good reason a card app should always be running

For $ 46.99 per year, your scanner needs to improve even with artsy cards or dark cards. I am trying to find a way to replace you or even just drop you. I have loved your app for a long time because I thought I was paying a reasonable price. No longer!

I bought the full version of this app quite a few years ago. Now the developers have decided to turn this app into a subscription service, rendering my purchase useless. Constantly I'm reminded to join although I paid already. And the app has slowed down a lot. I would not recommend anymore.

I already had the app downloaded for free previously. Seeing that its listed again with a price i was under the impression im getting the premium version this time. Seems like what happen was i downloaded the same "free" version this time with a fee and woulf still need to pay for a premium again. Could you please rectify this ASAP.

very misleading. in play store, you are offered 2 options 1. a free account and 2. a premium ( or so I thought). I paid the nominal fee for the premium version but when i tried to export my contacts into my contract database, it asked me to upgrade yet again. what kind of bullsh*t game is that? my fault for assuming I was dealing with a professional organization

good and useful software, however everytime i close the app still open in the background. alway need to use manual to shut down. in addition, on note 8 i may be experiencing this software crashing the phone. note 8 would hang and will then auto restart or dont have the patience then need to force restart the phone. issue stopped when i uninstalles the app.

Fantastic app to quickly capture business cards into digital form. Saves a ton of time having to search through cards manually. The note taking option is a great feature for remembering how you met people. Highly recommend purchasing this app.

I used CamCard for a little while and liked it was annoyed with how it struggled with reading some cards. An update must have fixed that, because now it reads almost everything perfectly. Simple to use and very convenient.

I bought this app years ago and have been using it to catalog all my business and personal contacts. For years it worked perfectly. Well, the company clearly got bought out by a Chinese company so now I have an app that in the past worked, with a clear, well-written UI that is now in broken English, asking me to pay for features I already paid for, and probably aggregating all their users' contact info for the Chinese government. No thanks.
