Camera recognition works really well. However, this app misses out on the great idea of using the cam dictionary for English speakers who want to look up and translate English words quickly with their camera instead of typing them into a normal dict app. This feature could easy be added by offering at least one English dictionary among the list of all the other foreign dictionaries.
I bought the app 2 months ago .still trying to figure out why its taking 65 dollars out of my bank card each month . i thought the app only cost around 4 dollars but it seems to have an ongoing cost and i don't know how to stop it. i will have to cancel my bank card if i can't figure it out before the next payment comes out. i don't even know what the 65 dollars is for . wished i could just cancel it.
Initially I used English Chinese free. Quite satisfactory. Then I decide to buy english Japanese dictionary. Download as local..... but it didn't work off line. I still need to go on wifi of mobule data for the translation. Waste of money.
Tge app is good, with fast recognization of the word but the app is lacking in the dictionary part, as no English dictionary is available, meaning it will not tell us the meaning of the word. Would have given 5 stars if it have a English dictionary too since the app name is camdictionary not camtranslator
False advertising... it says the camera translation shows pinyin but it doesn't. Only the chinese characters are showing and the settings don't say anything about Pinyin. Cannot select Pinyin or Chinese pinyin as translation language either
I didn't expect much as it was a free app but freezing my screen until I had to google for a solution was uncalled for.
Did not even work. Kept throwig error that app has stopped. Uninstalled it immediately after installing it...totally useless
It's called camdictionary , but it keeps telling me that there is no dictionary and asking if I want to download one when I already have. Clunky UI. If I wanted a translator I would just use Google Translate. I downloaded this because I just want an camera-based dictionary.
I like it but I think its better to update it by take pictures of it so I won't have go word by word😐. Cause what if its a BIG paragraph and I have to tap every word
Slightly more accurate than other apps I've tried but only really good for word-by-word translation, not for a sentence or paragraph.
Many options to choose,real time or photo. Chinese not very accurate. Easy to use.
even I wrote the Chinese text, it couldnt translate properly . Uninstall 😠
Works with my lg g3 but not with my nexus 9 tablet. Each time when i try to select a picture it closes out on me please fix this.
I feel that it's a Bit laggy sometimes and it doesn't recognise the words

I am rating 2 star because it is lack in other languages like urdu.i will rate 5 and will tell other friends as well if u ill add urdu language

Just wasting your time and money. Doesn't downloading free or paid dictionaries at galaxy GTI9195 .I have paid licence and dictionaries for a previous GTI9195.
