Note:
Camera and Mic Blocker was designed to consume negligible battery power, therefore the location aware function is based on your network location provider and will not use your GPS (Network location accuracy is widely variable and can sometimes be worse than 1500 meters, therefore setting a "camera disabled area" radius of 50-250 meters is effective only if there is an active wi-fi hot spot in the desired location, otherwise you should set a radius of at least 300 meters).

Unable to password protect all functions rendering it useless at stppping other users from accessing microphone as per my requirement. The slider bar selecting 'mic', 'camera & mic', or 'camera' only can still be used when password ptotection is on. Took other users just seconds to figure this out and be back using mic. This app is a time a waster.
I had "problems" realize quick excess with my edge panel. after reviewing the support send me a contact email where he helped me with video guides making the app do exactly what I want it to do. thanks for the great work support *5 stars*
Decent App but lacks one key feature : Gestures. We should be able enable/disable blocking with simple gestures like swipe or power/volume buttons tap(s), from the home screen or even the lock screen. Untill then this remains a toy for the kindergarten kids.
Just installed it on my S21 Ultra and it won't block the microphone, with both the Alternative option and the Default option. Camera access seems blocked though I doubt the reliability of this app at this point.

Today 5/22 it wants to update, I'm not doing it because it hasn't been updated since 2020 and it's still working Great, nice try.
after a few days testing unfortunately I have to say this app absolutely not block your camera example on avast browser you have some option on the app that you simple can check that app are not block your camera sorry this app simple not worthy any penny at all and suppose to be for free this is disgusting and unacceptable.
I like the widget that allows to instantly use either the mic or the camera or both without having to open the app. Thanks to the developer
So far so good! But what is the main difference between microphone blocking methods? Battery saver and Strong? Would be nice to have some explanation about that, other than that, nice work! Ah one widget without the picture option would be nice as well.
the app worked in Android 10, now I updated to Android 11 and it doesn't work anymore, I can't block the camera anymore. help!
Works perfectly. Note if you want a single widget for mic and camera, put app shortcut in home screen and long press. Thus app is a MUST HAVE if you care about your privacy.
Haven't had installed long, but seems to be doing what it's intended to do, blocking Microphone,and camera. Have had lots of issues with both these apps.
Not bad. But don't work correctly . If choose "camera and mic" option it doesn't work. But only "camera" option work correct and block the camera. Please fix this problem.
It used to work fine on my poco F1( android 10) . Now on Motorola edge 20 fusion ( android 11) the default camera app gets blocked but other apps like what's app etc camera is still working. Whole purpose of the application for me is to block camera everywhere.
I purchased this app because of the white list feature, but I am highly disappointed that the so called white list feature does not work. Please fix this. Otherwise I will classify this app as a scam.
Granting admin warns it might erase my data, can u explain what data erased.. Response: Im using a miui 10 and it warns me it might erase data when I grant permission so I need a classification of what data will erase..yeah I send a screenshot.
It's highly doubtful if I give any security app as administrator permission and this app contains internet permission also. That means it has full control over my phone.

This thing works. However, it needs all the white listed apps to have an icon on the screen in order to be counted as white listed. Otherwise, white listing will not work
Why does this app want to "make and manage phone calls"???!!! In addition, this very permission is not listed in the permission list of the app in the PlayStore information - Why?
Camera blocking is excellent. Blocking the mic causes a big drain on battery, though.
This may work not to sure BUT it don't stop this program from using the microphone .I have a number of warnings about being in use from this program on my galaxy s8
It was good on my Oneplus but does not work on my Pixel. Pixel easily overrides the app and you gand do anything to change it.
It's open source? NO ! You require permissions for camera, microphone,wifi...and many others. How can i trust you??? Ok, your answer is... We need those permissions to work , and restrict mic and cam...bla..bla... But HOW CAN I TRUST YOU ?!?!
The app worked and blocked camera and mic good before. But now after phone update to android 11, app does not block microphone anymore.
The app gets stuck at microphone only and will not take the option of Camera and Mic nor the Camera alone option and this happens with Samsung Galaxy S7. However, with Lenovo S1a40 the application functions very well.
Retry @ June 2020: unblock Mike automatically unblocked cam and vice versa.. definitely given up Very confusing options when trying to configure application on first screen. Uninstall ing
Don't trust this app is not 100% accurate i install voice recorder on my phone than i activate this app to block camera and micro but it allows me to record voice on other app
Works as expected. Very good value. NICE to have control of both camera and the mic.
Doesn't block apps with permission to access camera and mic. For example, when the blocker is on, Instagram still has access to my camera and mic while the camera does not even with Instagram not being on the whitelist.
