Camera Block -Anti spy-malware

I downloaded this app and can NOT use it. It says another app is using microphone. Nope. It's not. It says to update. Nope. Not working. Nothing works. I downloaded 3 other apps separately and deleted each one after I tested it. They all work except for this one. I chose this because of the ratings. Now I wonder if the ratings are friends or the developer, but can't certain. All I can say for certain is the app does not match the rarings and the app does not work. UNINSTALLED.

A very good and simple app. Works as described, it requires admin privileges, but this is expected. All you have to do is tap block and your good to go. It prevents all apps the permissions to access your camera, take pictures, and upload them online. You know it's working as intended when you try to access your camera and you get an error or retry screen. You can easily enable or disable it by tapping "unblock" or "block". Simple is best.

I highly recommend. My phone I'm pretty sure is hacked. When I turn my phone on without this app, I get a message from the photo app. And it just says photo. I open it and nothing is there. In conclusion, downloading this app is a great choice.

I havent tested it yet but it was easy to set up and seemed straight forward so if it passes all my tests now then it will deserve the 5 stars and really more. So if i do not lower the stars down to 1 then it is working and the developer desrve some praise for a great app

Camera Block works every time and it's great not having the flash go off unexpected. Also there's notification that the Camera isn't working. That way there's notification that the camera block is on. Glad it's free!

This app worked fine until I one day I wasn't able to access my camera anymore. When I tried I would get a pop up that said camera busy and unable to start. This happened on two of my Motorola phones and had to do a factory reset to fix the problem, which is kind of a hassle. Try another camera block app to prevent this problem. I am currently doing a factory reset on my phone again and will be downloading a similar app instead.

Does exactly what it says and blocks out most but definitely blocked camera from prying eyes! Such creepy people out there and most are not friends just people you meet. Facebook screwed your minds up if you think people you meet are your friends! Remember friendships are earned with trust NOT Facebook! Thank you for this free App Camera Blocker.

I load it. Got the OK camera blocked message. Went to Open Camera. Opened it up and started taking pictures. This app does not work on Android 11! Google has removed our ability to protect ourselves with previously good apps with the introduction of Android 11. I have a Moto G Stylus 2020 edition that was running Android 10. April 26, 2021 Motorola forced the untested Android 11 update on my phone. It locked up ever app that uses the camera function... Motorola says it is not our problem to fix

I like it. I really do. But one thing irks me. I can't ever find it. It takes me forever to notice the app icon because it's not shaped like a camera. It's a badge with a tiny camera icon and that's hard to notice amongst other apps. I scroll past it everytime wondering where it is only to find it 2 minutes later. Please, would you make an app icon that's recognizable and more...bold so we'll find it easier? Thanks.

New user...I just needed a simple easy way to shut camera & microphone off. This app has done that and much more. Easy to use with clean UI. Thank you devs. *Edit- Just now realized and noticed that your app secretly signed me for free trial offer that will charge me when it's over in a day or so. Pretty sneaky and but no thank you I'm just going to uninstall & watch my account balance.

Just started using this app today seems to work as described. Shows several apps that have been or have access to my camera. These apps weren't listed under my apps and I had no idea they were installed until Camera Block listed them for me. Thank you for this free app and I would recommend😊

Seems to work fine. Obviously have tried to load the camera with the blocking app active and sure enough the camera doesn't work with the phone informing me that the "Security policy prevents use of camera". In today's world where you should be covering your webcams and taking safety precautions this seems like a must have app. I have now purchased the pro version.

I thought I liked it. It shuts your camera off. Camera blocked to all apps....and you.... It's easy enough to unblock... Every time you need it. I learned tonight EXCEPT for apparently between the hours of 8pm and 10pm. Now they insist I buy the $7.99 pro version to use my camera right now at 9:13pm. OH WELL

I feel much better protected with camera block. But i have question. I bought this app and transfered it to each phone i upgraded to. But time the full version woud not thansfer with it. Is there anything i can do to get the problem fixed. I dont want to have payfor it again. thank you

does exactly whay it say. i always knew somehow somewhere. they were listening who isk. but if me and the homie are talking bout anything it would automatically pop up on a infomercial on the music app. or br on Facebook. this app makes you feel ao much better. thanks guys for all your hard work. you rock

Love this app and Love the microphone blocker as well. Simple fast and effective. There are lots of options I the free version, too, unlike most apps out there...very soft on the sell for pro. I appreciate that a lot! Thanks guys! Well done, VERY WELL DONE!

I think its a great app for the feature they are providing for free, it does block your default camera setup with just one touch, and show turns off all access to camera access for apps.

I've never rated or commented for any android app. However, your application is different and forced me to connect to my wireless at the middle of the night just to login and rate your fabulous apps, both camera block and microphone block. Thank you very much for your great job towards securing people's privacy. By the way, do your apps also prevent us from intelligence authorities' snooping? I hope so. Thank you very much again. Everyone should have this app. It's crazy how much access we give apps when we download them. Most are getting permission to use most of our phone functions and yes our cameras. However by using camera block it does just that blocks your camera, even if you try to use your own camera you cannot unless you unlock the app with a click of a button it's easy. I appreciate what this app offers. Thank you for making this great app for us all to benefit from.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Timed unblocking, quick launchers, widgets, 10 languages lol If there was an overkill award you'd receive it. Nice overhaul. All features on basic are useful and appreciated.

A simple app to use and the notifications help to remind me that I need to block the camera after use. It is a shame though that the shortcut on the homepage does not change colour but otherwise I am delighted.

Honestly a 4 star app. But you can get the same features for free with Lens Cap. That Unfortunately isn't compatible with my Samsung A02.

I live with my ex-boyfriend which is hard enough but the kicker is that he has always been very jelouse and sneaky.....I let him borrow my phone last night and all day today it has been running extreamly slow and a few apps randomly pop up. I'm 99.9% sure he put something lame on my phone but at least with this cool app he won't be able to take any pictures without my consent. LOL Thanx camera blocker xo and screw you Justin!
