Camera Nexus 7 (official)

Simply does work - "app stopped" error appears as soon as you open it. Meant only for the 2013 version of Nexus7, or an old Android?

This shortcut has been working exactly as expected for years. Ignore those who tried to use this on a device that isn't a 2012 Nexus 7.

I bought a Nexus 7. I downloaded this app and it works just fine. I use it with my scope camera.

So Google did not provide then short cut to camera map as may be they do not consider the camera as snap worthy. TBH they are right and its not great, but I thjinmk I should still have a choice to take image. This apps gives you that choice. Works fine for me, actually this is just a shortcut to the original app, so should always work.

Provides a shortcut to the Android camera app which has no short cut on the stock Android OS for some inexplicable reason. Nothing more, nothing less. No permissions required, no payload, no nothing. Just a short cut. I'm using on Kit Kat on a 2012 Nexus 7 and it works fine. I can't vouch for Lollipop - I'm not convinced anything works on that!

I have a 2012 Nexus 7 with only the front view camera so I needed an app to open the camera at any given time. This app doesn't give you a lot of extra effects or options but it's functional, simple to use and gets the job done. Thanks :-)

This used to work but now I keep seeing camera has stopped and refuses to load. Tried reinstalling but its still the same.

😵 There is this glitch on my own NEXUS SEVEN where when I try and do something rather than other modes, it just turns to a black screen and says " Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." This is very annoying. Please fix.

Does what it's supposed to do. Anyone complaining about the unusable modes should seek help elsewhere, this is merely a shortcut to the n7s already existing camera, it does not modify your device at all. Install custom firmware for a sleeker camera if you must.

Dis camera comes with my techno w4 suddenly stop working i still look 4 it on Google Play yet can't work.

EDIT: Okay its still an excellent app so i must give 5 stars. Compared to other cam apps, this one loads up and responds quickly. Also great response time from developers! You guys deserve the 5/5

Two major problems detected upon first use. Application crashes when I try to take panoramic picture and closes when I try to use back facing camera.

Considering it's the"official" nexus 7 camera app, it's pretty sad that it crashes while using a nexus 7. 1 star for being unstable and a hunk of junk.

Is selected when you are in the camera menus. Everything else seems to work.

They changed the interface, and now I don't know how to use it anymore. I can only seem to change the camera modes within the first 1/2 second of load time, and then there is no way to switch once the app is loaded. Tried swiping in from the left, but it doesn't work. It also now blacks out nearly 15℅ of the screen just for the capture button. What a waste of space. Please return the old interface!
