Camera One for Samsung Watch

I loved this app would give it 5stars. However, since I change my phone to S22 Ultra, I have a problem with zoom option. S22 use different camera for wide angle (0.6x) and sometimes app start with normal camera (I block the Lens using my finger to confirm this) so I can't zoom-back from 1x - 0.6x. I have to restart the app untill it change itseft (randomly).

Very disappointed. Paid for premium, but it is so hard to use I have given up. Trying to switch to video gave an error message. Watch often froze after taking photo. Trying to zoom kept switching between settings instead. The app doesn't hold settings, so if you take a photo then switch to video and back, you have to set all the camera settings again. Wasted an hour this morning trying to use it, it's too frustrating.

Want to buy premium , but have a doubt when I first install it opens my camera with Less resolution on both rear and front camera and picture quality is less. Will it be the expected experience ? or will I have a better camera resolution if i have premium subscription Can you help me understand the trail period and buy me later option, i don't find both

Camera and video quality is awful, despite having 4k video on my device, best quality of 1080 is all I can do, and it's atrociously fuzzy, like 1990 VHS. Camera is the same issue. I paid for the app and then instantly regretted it.

Android 11 with galaxy watch 4. App works really well, so 5 stars. But is there any easy way of stopping it running on the phone when I'm finished with it, other than force stop? I really don't want it running when not in use, as it interferes with with other things I use. Edit - thanks for the update - Pressing bottom button on watch (galaxy watch 4) closes camera one service on the phone.

So far so excellent! Very impressed with the options, as if from your phone! One of the best must have apps for that perfect shot!

So I paid for the premium features ( I had to as the app is worthless otherwise) and it still doesn't work.

Opens the camera app on my phone AFTER this app is closed, so my phone battery is being used for 15 minutes EVERY TIME! Dev says it's an android issue, Google devs say it's not. Didn't happen when I first purchased the app, only after several "updates". Really irksome, sorry I bought this app now...

It's only okay for messing around with, as soon as I open the app on my watch then the screen of my phone briefly comes on then the ICE (incase of emergency) app is continously displayed but dimmed, I was going to purchase this for £1.59 but since its only a subscription I'm not going to bother, I only have the rewards app so don't have enough funds to buy the full version and there's nowhere else I can buy this from, I never give Google my real details as I don't trust them

After my first issues with this app draining my phone and causing it to over heat and not charge, I uninstalled the app. Since reinstalling it it now works, was able to test it properly because of the above issue, hence lower review. App now seems to work fine as free offering, not willing to pay to find the same issue I had before.

Update info. The paid version is buggy. It will activate my camera without me doing it. My watch is a brand new watch so the blame is not on my device it is on the app. For 2.99 these thing should work without glitches but unfortunately it does not. I do NOT recommend this app. Lowered from 5 stars to 2 stars. What a disappointment.

Good app when it works. It takes forever to open when you try to from your watch. When it finaly does it crashes sometimes. I wish they could make it work better because I paid for it...

No 4K video option like in tutorial. False advertisement 1 year later 2nd review: tried the app again after subscription finished, trial version could do 0.5x (properly used ultrawide camera) and up to 10x on camera (not sure telephoto or not) so bought perpetual license and it's literally worse, no more 0.5x and only up to 8x digital zoom, worse yet still no 4K video option...... uninstall and install app twice still the same Galaxy Watch 3 + S22 Ultra

I want to thank the Developer for his patience in helping me with an issue I was having with the app. It turned out to be completely my fault not understanding that you don't actually use the cameraone app to take pictures from your phone. You need a separate app for that.

Phone app randomly uses camera. Even when the watch app is closed and has not been used for weeks, I will find that the phone component is suddenly using the camera in the background! The only way to get it to turn off is to force open the phone's own camera app, which causes Camera One to error quit. If you find your phone is suddenly hot and has run out of battery, this is why. Shame, because apart from that it worked well.

I had to rate the app a 5 not only because it works great, as it makes taking photos and videos a lot easier, but I had a great experience with the developer. I had a problem because of my watch not having a bexel it couldn't change zoom and flash options through the watch. I contacted the developer and that same day a response was received and work on the problem started. In only 10 days the fix update came through and now even that works great. Thank you!

I thought the camera gear app was good but this is on another level, - WHY - Because it is all on your watch screen, "no need to go back into the settings" - and with all the extra things - W/B - Effects all just at a touch of the watch screen. so if you want to control your phone camera from your watch and see what you're taken then look no further, this is just what you want,, p/s I worked it at about 10meters+ outdoors

Truly amazing app. Connected easily to my Galaxy S8. Lets you see your phone's front or back camera from the Galaxy watch and take pictures or videos. I installed on the watch first and it automatically took my phone to the play store to install on the phone. The free version works fine although you can pay for better picture quality and more features with the Pro version.

Since Android 12 it needed reinstall, after that it works perfectly again. Thanks.

Such a clever app. Has multiple useful functions and works as described. Really liking it.
