Connects to Nikon D750 and takes pictures, but I got this app for the delayed shutter feature, and while it does work, you have to click into a side menu for every timed shot. I want to see my subject as I press the button, not rush to check focus while the timer is already running. Please give the timer a standalone button that works in the live viewing screen, don't make me review the settings each and every time.
Hi guys. I have it a 4 start because I believe it will work well. But im experiencing user error here.. Im not yet able to download the app. Ive clicked automatic connection but it constantly scanning for camera. Theres a manual connection option and a space bar where I can enter a number. What number am I looking for? I have searched all over for a tutorial but haven't found one. Can you show me what im doing wrong and where I can find one? Thanks in advance. Doug.
Only 4 stars because I haven't fully tested, but so far, it's literally everything I wanted--It's what the Canon Camera Connect app SHOULD BE. I assume that it will be five stars, I just have to run through some of the things involving the intervalometer (which so far, runs as smooth as silk).
I am using this with Canon 200D. Works well on USB and WiFi. I have moved from Canon Camera Connect to this app and find it to be a major upgrade. One concern is the inability to geotag pictures using smartphone GPS which was possible in Camera Connect. It would be nice to have that functionality in this app too.
This is a great app and I love to use it with a Nikon D750. The only thing what I want to be completed for my situation, its possible to use at the same time the shutter button of the camera? Or if it can be developed with a future update of the application? The focus peaking with the show contrast mode was the advantages for my situation. I will be very happy if you update this application and we can use this application with the shutter button of the camera. Regards Hello Rupiapps, If I close the live-view of the application there are no longer the use of focus peaking. So if you can developed that the use of the camera shutter button with your app there will be very helpful.
I paid my $10 and downloaded the app. I have tried to use the app countless times but it will not connect to my Canon 6d mark ii camera. I asked for support but he just sent me a blanket statement of which I do not understand. It also appears from many reviews that he also answered the same question with the same blanket statement. Too bad the advertisement said the app is very versatile....but it does not connect to wifi.
I am using the app with a nikon dslr with a Nokia 7 plus. I am taking photos of jewelry and I am using the app for its focus bracketing capabilities. So far I am very pleased with the performance and very impressed with the aiding filters (focus peaking, clipping etc.) . One thing to note is that I had hard time to find a working otg cable. I would suggest if you have a usb type c device buy only usb c to usb 3.1 and not usb 2 as I tried 3 of them and noone worked...
Works great. I had a problem with it disconnecting, I found out the usb cord I was using wasn't very good and caused the app to disconnect. I got a new usb cord and it doesn't disconnect, even when moving it around.
As a full time professional photographer who has used many of these apps, this is a good one. The only thing I need in addition is auto image review (instead of going in and clicking on the image then canceling it). Is this possible?
Doesnt work with the phone's camera. While "Control your camera with your phone" and "control your DSLR and other cameras" imply a feature outside normal smartphone functionality, it does not exclude the onboard hardware. I am not a progammer so it seems equally plausible to me that an app that can control an external camera could easily include an integrated one. I accept that one star is an unreasonably harsh for what ammounts to an excessivly terse blurb.
I love that application to control my Nikon D7500 (via WIFI). It works flawlessly, I don't understand how people can be unable to connect it to a Nikon camera with WIFI... I have a question, how do you use Focus Bracketing ? Or is it not supported on my Camera ? Not a deal breaker, I just want to know, thanks !
First impression: very good app with Z7ii. Does a lot more than snapbridge and focus stacking seems to work. On a tablet lifeview is a bit blurry, but i have read why this is. Likely to get 5* when i have used it in earnest.
Nikon D5600 with 1.10fw, works perfectly!, Best remote control app I have found so far, easy to use and some great features, connects flawlessly.
I'm using Nikon z6ii. The connection was flawless but the autofocus or touch to focus is really really bad. Kindly fix that
Everything works well, only live view with high latency. USB connection. Can you somehow influence this?
I just bought this app to use for the lunar eclipse last night and it worked great. The only thing missing is some more detailed documentation. If it exists then I have been unable to locate it.
The app is lean and functional and yet extends the functionality of the Canon M100. Support is responsive and better: effective!
It says my device does not support host mode so i have to connect my d4 which doesnt have wifi to a wifi service to be able to use. Make sure your device supports host mode or this app will be a waste of money
Yes it works in manual mode Thanks a lot But doesn't it go more than 3 stops? If I do -1 to 1 its fine taking 3 pics But from -2 to 2 also its taking only 3 pics -2 0 and 2
works great. only question is if there is a trick to download the pictures from the app to the SD card rather than one by one?
The application, when I plug in via cable, it constantly spins to connect and if I set up a USB connection .. D7000.
Hi can you guide me How to connect D7100 Nikon when I don't have Wi-Fi in that... and I am not able to find your app Camera Control
This is no good app for Nikon D610. It is not properly working. This app doesn't refund for me. Don't buy this app.
Does not work with Nikon d3500 Will not work with shutter speed control
Keeps disconnecting with d800
Works as specified, with my aging 5DM2 that has been abandoned by Canon. My primary use for this app is to facilitate more accurate focusing for astrophotography while the camera sits at an inconvenient tilt on the astro pier. This app does exactly that, and of course supports shutter release. Those are really my main use cases, and though I haven't tested the intervalometer, I'm looking forward to ditching the kludgey controls of my handheld wifi intervalometer. Decent UI. Dankeschön dev!
