Having had a Nikon DSLR -& tested the other wannabes apps -Camera X is the closest to DSLR quality I've downloaded. Other cam apps either lack depth of field, are too sharp when enlarged or display pale colours. This app addresses all those issues. And since HDR mode was added my pics really pop- with minimal grain. FIVE STARS all the way !
The current version freezes on Google Pixel 2, but I got in touch with the devs and they are trying to fix the problem. 5 stars for their prompt response and willing to improve. And hopefully, in the future, the app will deserve the 5 stars as well :)
Very solid. I have used several photography apps because my job usually asks for it and this is definitely the most compact and complete I have found. I also love tinkering with the extra options when I have time to do so.
Love this app. User friendly and manual features are good. But when selecting slow motion the app crashed in my Samsung M31. Have to close and open again. Checked many times and getting the same issue. Please fix.
Super basic, probably better just using the standard camera app. For having a newer phone with manual focus controls built in, I thought I'd explore other options. This app is very limiting an all-around options. Don't waste your time.
Takes great pics, but while taking shots it randomly renders my LG Q7+ unresponsive. It (in some cases) won't even allow me to restart my phone. Too bad. I really liked the app.
One of the best Photography applications I have tried. The manual mode rocks and looks like a professional DSLR camera. UI is simple and intuitive and the Photo booth mode is funny and useful to take selfies
Locks app when trying to change frame rate in video mode, can't get into app again because it keeps trying to load last used settings. This app NEEDS the ability to control all three cameras in the note 20 ultra separately.
Really nice app. Intuitive interface and fast camera. The DRO could use some work though. It throws things out of wack in low light situations
Doesn't save photo in manual mode when I set the shutter speed and iso. Also when I use the touch to focus sometimes it does nothing at all until I close and open the app again lg v40
Confused & Concerned- upon checking the terms and privacy policy I received a warning pop up that read "This page may compromise your device or contain dangerous content. To avoid risks, close this window and skip this sight"... What's up with that😬
Errors when doing 4k or 2k timelapse. Also max shutter speed is 1/2 second??? Max iso only 3200. Terrible app. Avoid at all costs.
Go to app for a smartphone photographers. Combo of all the features a photographer needs in a simple and user-friendly app.
Currently incompatible with Samsun s20 Ultra. Installs, requests permissions on first opening, but then closes. Does not run.
App gives you the control over the settings to get a better photos. Good job!
It's capable of capturing detailed photos than stock camera... Dear developers please add night mode and improve the HDR performance in low light.
excellent but i would like to suggest remove black around video shutter button add pro video mode beside that every thing is excellent
Need to some bug fix, slow mo is very bad and and video stabilizer poor quality and many more fix this

THE GRID LINES SHOULD BE MORE THINNER, BECAUSE ITS BECOME DIFFICULT TO PUT OBJECT ON POINTS WHILE TAKING PICTURES.

Literally the worst camera app. It doesn't hold anything special.
It plays an ad when i try to run the app. When the ad finishes playing I hit the "x' to close the ad but it shuts down the entire app completely. So i never got to use it. I first ran the "camera x compatibility" test and the results show that I should be able to use it with my Galaxy tab S6
