Camera ZOOM FX Premium

I've been using this app for ages and love it. However on recent phones I have seen a number of issues and bugs which sometimes make me need the stock/phone vendor photo app. I understand some of these issues are API (or lack thereof) related, such as extended ISO on Motorola phones, as this also affects competitors' app. Some features have always been glitchy, such as a properly synchronized flash trigger. My workaround is to use the torch (as it helps the autofocus too) but it is far from ideal. One main perk of this app is the gesture system with custom mappings. I would really appreciate a buxfix release. If you want detailed ways to reproduce bugs or just general testing, I'd be happy to help (I'm a dev too, but not on mobile ;)) thanks!

Great, great camera driver. Purchased this app a loong time ago, and pleased I got to experience its growth. Keeps itself humble while bringing all you'll need. the U. I. occasionally get on my nerve - especially in 'The moment is passing!!' times. Menus seem resilient to being dismissed fluidly; an easily accessed method of a 'session reset' (revert back to start up values and interface, without having to close the app) Regardless it is my favorite 5/5 All day. Recommend for ALL

Overall I'm very happy with the app. Being a photographer and using real cameras, having the option to use full manual exposure is nice. A lot of great features for a small price. My only issue isn't the app, but that I have an old phone with a bad camera. I plan to buy a new one with better camera lenses. That will enhance the app. Highly recommend it.

Love the app so far. Found 2 small quirks with the code. There doesn't seem to be a tolerance for changing orientation, if you hold your device at a 45° angle it shifts from portrait to landscape constantly. The other bug is when holding the screen to switch focus modes it makes the device vibrate, the vibration doesn't stop till you exit the app however. Beyond that it is a solid camera app well worth the price, the control over the quality of how you are shooting is immense.

This is a great app. I appreciate the customizability and all the additional feature most camera apps don't have, be in particular voice activated photo capturing. I like that this app was affordable and that the Creator is doing their best to stay on top of any bugs or updates. Finally I really appreciate that this is free on the Google Play pass but even if it wasn't it would still be worth the cost.

I would give this app a five star rating if it did not have a severe limitation. It freezes and reverts to the non premium version if you are not connected to the internet for a few days. I had planned on using this app on a dive trip in Indonesia where internet connection was rare. The app froze after a few days - it ask me to upgrade to the paid version, of which I was using, to take a photo. Worthless.

I was so impressed with the quality of the images & settings available within this app that I upgraded to the Premium version last year. However, since the last app update, I can no longer access all the Premium functions. Instead I keep getting a message telling me that I need to upgrade in order to use these features. I am not happy that paid-for applications suddenly cease functioning for no apparent reason. Please can you fix this or else refund me for the upgrade which no longer work.

This camera app is amazing. It utilizes any phone's camera to the fullest. My phone's camera has always been lacking when it comes to taking quality photos. That's not the case anymore with this app! It takes very rich, quality photographs. I never thought a simple software change could make such a difference. If you're unhappy with your phone's current photo capabilities, you need to give this app a chance.

Since my comment below was posted months ago the problem has not been remedied. In fact on my last trip it was even worse. In addition, if I leave the app open & my phone goes to sleep it crashes when waking my phone or it has a slow response. "I would rate higher if it weren't for the fact that it keeps freezing when taking a picture. And I'll close the app & upon restarting it is still frozen. Also when viewing the Zoom photos folder it crashes & takes forever to load."

very nice camera app. * the on screen Level meter is extremely useful for taking photos quickly and not having them end up tilted or skewed. * the settings and controls are fairly extensive but very easy to access and utilize. * it also behaves well when shooting in Landscape mode (wide screen) (you should ALWAYS shoot in wide screen mode!) ! amazing how many apps can't shoot Wide mode. ridiculous !

Camera zoom is a nice photo app. It's strength primarily relates to manual control of the camera - focus point, exposure etc. I find it particularly useful for its time lapse mode, which takes individual photos and (optionally) stitches them together. This is really useful if you're wanting to take action shots of yourself, but can't be sure of exactly when you'll come past the camera

I had high expectations of this app, especially considering the relatively high price for the premium version. The premium app keeps blocking, is incredibly slow, doesn't save the pictures half of the time, keeps asking for pai upgrades, ... The support mail address is a waste of effort as well, as they never answer (no matter how positive my email).

This app needs significant updating as it does not work with Pixel3XL without lots of issues. The menu buttons aren't recognized and I wonder if it is because the app isn't able to calculate for the notch. The colors and sharpness are really poor compared to the stock camera app. Hopefully there will be an upgrade soon.

Edit: App is wonky as hell on the new phone. Non-existent support for Android on-screen buttons (apps, home, back). Setinngs either unable to go back to auto or not updating - iso, shutter... And most annoyingly the occasional "You need to upgrade to premium" bug. I misses so many great photos because of this... With all the issues I don't think it's worth buying this over stock photo app.

Even with the basic shot, the images are exactly what you're snapping. Every details in the shot are identical to the natural view of it. SUPER Pro Shots in my opinion with the HDR on. But I feel the app is too powerful for these lenses on my Phone, hence the fuzzy image when you zoom in on it.

Doesn't work well on OnePlus 7 Pro. Shooting mode is stuck in RAW/JPEG, nowhere to change it. Can't adjust shutter speed; the slider jumps to ~1/92000 and can't be moved back up to normal speed. Photos are blurry no matter what settings are applied, and are frequently overexposed and noisy. Image on screen will often stop updating; camera UI elements still responsive, but have to close/reopen camera app to get image to start refreshing again. Has some nice features, but unusable on this phone.

Horrendous. I almost NEVER right reviews for apps.. but this one? I had to. It was just THAT bad. I paid the full price based off the reviews with pretty base expectations and it didn't even reach that. It literally crashed within a MINUTE of me using the app and opening it and that's after I already bought the premium. Ended up getting a refund. Don't waste your money, folks. It's garbage. There's free apps out there that does a better job - just cause it's premium doesn't mean its good.

Since starting it up, found a quite good app. That does what says and more. At task with the trademark one, it'll open you a wide range of working ways not otherwise available. No need to enter into the different features, colours and options.. Recall that from the focus possibilities, to the scope and shooting speed, and the shutter options, it's all thought to improve the result in your images capture. Let's keep clear that its quality is so good, as to lead me to get it free from any ads.

This app worked well on my previous phone (LG G5, Android 8.0). Great manual controls, took better photos than the standard camera app. I would have given it 4 stars, with one star off for the difficulty of clearing some controls from the screen. Doesn't even open properly on the new Pixel 6 Pro, running Android 12.

It's ok. Wasn't worth buying the premium and don't recommend it, although I'm not sure how much it costs now- could be worth it if it's like $3, something like that. No panoramic shot, which is ridiculous in my opinion. And although I'm not the biggest fan of the Galaxy S9+ camera, you can adjust many more settings in Pro then you can with ZoomFX. Its, eh, ok. Maybe better than other stock camera apps out there but with all the options becoming available to most phones, I can't imagine which.

See all. I really do like this camera in general, but what I don't like is the feeling of invasion of my privacy. You see, every time I open this app it flashes and takes a picture of what ever it is pointing at. The pictures aren't in my file, but I have seen them before they disappear. If this could be fixed, I'd give it a 10 star if possible. 👍I came back and gave 5 stars. To stop the camera from taking pictures automatically, go into settings, take it off of auto focus when opening app. 👍

It does a good job with one significant problem. Despite having the premium version, every other time I use the app, it disables features and pops up a notice telling me that I need to upgrade to the premium version. Killing it and restarting usually works. At least until the next time I use it.

I've only had it for 24 hours and not had much of an opportunity to use it as yet. I can't see that the shutter speed can be any greater than 1/10 second. I was hoping for a scale up to 15 seconds or more. I was also hoping to control metering. I have a Samsung S10, and I'm unsure if this is doing anything more than the factory camera already does. Camera-wise I mean. It will be good to get it out in the field to see how it goes. I payed full price for this application a long time ago. Back then it was good. Now that I have redownloaded the PREMIUM version. All it does it lag, constantly won't focus and then closes. Now does a application that worked so good on very old phone work then, but wont work on a NEW more advanced phone? Please fix the laging, crashing and constant out of focus terrible photos now

I have used SLRs and DSLRs all my life. I have always thought of cell phone cameras nothing more than "point and shoot." This app paired with a Moto Z2 has changed my thinking. Easy to use. Flexible enough for more difficult shoots, and lots of other features. I'm using it more and more.

I like this app, but I am still learning all the different options you can use. It gets very frusterating at times, I find what I want to do with a picture and want to save it and then return to original picture to try different frames, filters, etc.. And havent figured that out yet. 🤪😊
