Does exactly what it says. It's a little difficult to read if you don't know much about the topic. So, it would be nice if there was a big green/red notification box at the top that simply says "Your device supports/doesn't support Camera 2 api, see below for details." That's literally all I wanted to know when I used the app. Details were interesting, but it took me a while to puzzle them out and conclude that the answer was Yes, it does.
Works just fine. It's a tool to display which features are supported by your CameraAPI2. Many of the people here doesn't know that it WON'T turn on your CameraAP2. It just displays the capabilities of your phone's CameraAPI.
Was testing new camera apps. Some functions weren't available, so this let me see if it was a bug or my phone capabilities. Saved time and headache. Thanks.
Gives me all the details. Not super intuitive, as it's very technical stuff, but there's not a whole lot to ask for. Maybe some i dot buttons that offer glossary entires for different items in the list. Also dark mode. App needs one
Works as intended. Unfortunately, it shows that my Moto G Stylus 2020 only publishes the front and main rear camera. No wonder 3rd party apps don't take advantage of the ultra wide , macro, or depth cameras!
Nice no nonsense app, offer the info you want, and that is it. Also works on Pie. (Tiny bug in additional information functionality: returns size of program window not display, as "screen", ignoring soft keys)
Will re-evaluate soon. Sent msg to developer to see if we can fix an issue with app instantly crashing. I did use this on a different phone and found it quite helpful.
This is an great app to see what kind of camera/video one has installed in their phone and that camera's capabilities. The app does just that. Excellent. Thanks Developers, now I'm going to check the reading Kline Master gives me.
I dont understand why this kind of info isn't standard and available in settings on our phone? maybe I'm being ignorant but it just seems like this should be available without having to DL a separate app. Thanks to the makers tho and making it free and available to us....I'd hate to not know about my cameras...lol
The app tells me that my Headset device Samsung Galaxy M10 S supports Google camera on some features but I am unable to install it why is that? I don't have any problem/issue with your app it works fine but could you give me answer to this question if it's possible thanks.
it gives the current settings of the phone picked up from xonfig file. doesn't give whether the camera supports 'camera2 api' ex: mi a2 phone. aupports api2 but by default its not enabled
I did everything that it told me to and it said to reboot. After rebooting it said camera2 enabled but I used another app (camera 2 probe) it still shows legacy. I installed gcam for my version of Android and it still crashes. My device is Lenovo k3 note k50a40 running on slim ROM Android 7.1.1. any help is appreciated.
Incorrectly detects front raw as unavailable, even though it is available (Samsung Galaxy S7). Otherwise works very well.
Displayed exactly the info I needed. Wish there were more info about the values. Level_3 includes yuv and raw in addition to all of Full.
Does what it is supposed to without any bs, no ads, small size just perfect. Mi a2 doesn't supoort camera2api, so thumbs down to xiaomi.
Does what it says, no wasting time. Probes your hardware and throws you every detail you want/don't want to know about your camera
It's ready right out of the gate! I opened it and my existing camera specs were already listed. Amazing. Great job 👍
Amazing. Thank you so much for making this app. Before we had this app it was an absolute NIGHTMARE to figure out if you had proper Camera2API support.
Excellent. The app shows the data in a clear manner and there is no spam. Thank you!
This app works amazing.. it actually gives a full detailed report about your device camera support.. very impressive.. I hope you publish more useful apps🍻😎
Detailed information about camera can be obtained but it will be handy if it can provide other informations such as min and Max shutter speeds etc.
super simple, good export,... does the job
Something is not right. The app did not correctly detects my OnePlus 6T display resolution.
Does what it says. Sadly, camera2 api only exposing 2 cameras, not he wide angle. Devs, can you probe CameraX API too maybe?
Worked great...as soon as I hit open, it was there... everything there was to know about my phones cameras
Best App For Probing Camera, knowing the spec's of what your camera. I would recommend this app to anybody who needs to know the Spec's of your camera abilities on your phone period.
Brilliant, just missing one feature: Upload Results. It would be great to have the ability to upload the results (together with phone model, furmware version etc.) and view other results to allow people to learn exactly what phones have this API exposed. This would change my choice of future phone! Antutu does something similar. :)
