Doesn't work on Google Pixel 6 Pro. Works fine on earlier android OS but as soon as I try to view a camera now it crashes the app. Tried reinstalling - it just doesn't work. Please update - my cameras are useless without it.
The app does not work!!! The motion detection on the phone app does not work. You have to have an old copy of IE not Microsoft Edge to set up motion detection. E-mail set up is so complicated that you have to be a software engineer which I am. The app needs so much work it's almost worthless as a support for the jennov camera. I get a message to read my notifications but there is no notifications menu selection. Still a piece of 💩
Unable to save video, records but doesn't save to gallery. Snapshots are saved but again, not videos. I'm using a Samsung s10 plus. Works find on my wifes Samsung galaxy s9 plus. Please help. What gives?
I like this app and find it stable. I wish you could change the folder where videos and photos are stored. They are hard to find. Also, it needs a more precise way to move PTZ cameras. The app cases the camera to swing too much one way or the other making it impossible to see some areas.
Time stamp errors. Im unsure how to fix. The camera maker says its an app issue. The time on the live feed is correct but the time on the recorded videos is 12 hours off (shows me what happened at 9am/9:00 if I select 21:00). How can I fix this? Update: March, 2022: Now this app will no longer connect and show the camera feed unless I'm on the same Wifi network. Ive tried all fixes, but nothing works.
Great app, have no problems or issues using it. However minus one star because you can only view 4 cams at once. What if like me has more then 4 cams??? I have to keep switching, which is a pain! If you can make it to view 5, or more that would be great and definitely deserving of full marks! Please fix this issue.

Works perfectly for me! I have no idea why people are giving it low stars. Being able to view multiple cameras at once it's a nice feature recently added and now time play back as well! I have had no issues with this application at all for the last 2 years. Because of this application I have bought several Camhi cameras!
Live view is brilliant. unfortunately this app is not very good for playing back with the "time playback mode". 2 thirds of the screen is taken up with the calendar leaving only a small picture to view the CCTV not very helpful if trying to catch a wrong un.
This app would be decent if it gave you a way to exit out of viewing live video without moving the screen. Afaik most modern phones don't have physical home buttons anymore so on my Samsung I have to swipe up to get mine to appear and that almost always moves the camera.
Sure are a bunch of stupid people posting.people blaming the app for things that are not the app at all, it's your camera settings. As far as not being able to close out the cam without moving your camera, figure it out. It's not the apk it's your phone. I am using this apk on 5 of my own cameras 50 miles apart, and it's great. My family and I have 17 cameras on 9 devices all working flawlessly. The update to make you change your password is for your security. Just change it to something else.
Won't let you control the moving of the view of the camera for instance it up in the down it doesn't go up and down when you wanted to it zooms in when you're not wanting it to zoom in and it doesn't stay where you put it and what it gives you a notification it doesn't show the notification.
Ruined by latest update. It now doesn't save videos. Why fiddle with an app when it works fine, now looking for another app.
The App is ok, except that I cannot erase from my mobile phone the alarms that I have already seen. The alarms are numerous and erasing some of the films would have been helpful.
How the hell do you set up email notifications ? Spent hours trying to get it to work. Not much good if I am away from my wi-fi. And why does a WIRED connection kept dropping out ????
English missing. No help to get in with a new phone in English. Does not recognize phone to register. No help file. Nothing on the cam!! No Pw reset or links to reset PW thru email. Then tried something to tell me to hit the reset button. There is none on this ip/wifi cam ! A solid steel frame, heavy glass, great pictures ; but does the app ma⁰tch this camera?
It would be nice to have an auto reconnect setting for when it disconnects as mine sometimes does this every few minutes. Apart from that it is a good app, when working ;-)
The time is off every other day even after synching it, so if you are looking for something, it's almost impossible to find when the dates and times are never accurate, and the cameras dont respond half the time and when they do they lag
Works great, FTP server, mail client works. Please add in Alarm settings some free pencil tools to draw shape for motion area. I cant fit monitored area with rectangle and it is frustrating.
Emails stopped being sent. Very annoying. Working last month, then stopped. I've deleted and reinstalled all cameras. No effect.
Great app and works very well. I've used it for over a year and don't understand some of the one star reviews below. Which are all having connectivity problems because they are set up incorrectly to suit their network. I have multiple cameras and no problems with any of them on this app. Simple to connect to Wi-Fi, reliable connection all the time and can give me connectivity when I'm out of the house and on cellular 4g phone so I can check in. Its got a bit of a clunky interface but it works!
I like the camera, it is exceptional. The camera is only as good as the app that works it, but this app needs some work. The siren alarm in the 'action with alarm' area under the 'alarm ringing linkage...' just keeps going on and on and on forever - I have to turn it off, isn't it supposed to be according to the motion detection only? - needs fixing. What sensitivity sets the alarm off (in the alarm setting area) - 10 20 30? Thanks for considering these things for the future - meanwhile I have to turn it off.
The app worked very well away from home till recent updates. Now, it will connect to the camera whilst away from home for a brief second only before disconnecting and attempting to reconnect, again for a second or two. For this reason, the app is rendered useless whilst away from home. Interestingly, it made no difference if using mobile data or third party wifi, the connection issue remains. Whilst at home it works well. Please fix the connections issues! Developer doesn't reply to emails!
The app is pretty good except for one huge issue for me. No proper PTZ controls. Swiping the screen to control the PTZ controls just doesnt work most of the time and when it does there is very little control over where the camera ends up facing. please please please can we have proper directional and zoom buttons for PTZ cameras please!
After the latest update (Apr 2022), can no longer view the app in split screen mode. This was really handy, and I think it is part of android but the app now prevents it. Darn!
