I find this app great to use. Still worked when I had no reception, so roads were still shown. Would definitely recommend this app for others, I actually like this one better than the wiki camps. They are also making the app better or the time.

Have been using other maps and sites,but I was a bit restricted in most areas. One big reason is my lack of computer skills, but seems a bit easier with your site. Thanks for that.

Has a lot of facilities. It doesn't seem to show all campgrounds and campsites though, it really does tend to push you toward high priced paid options. Recently the app icon changed to some kind of default android icon with the green robot, making me feel like the app has been hacked or something.

Its a great app and very informational, but usually doesn't work properly offline- the map doesn't load and if you click on something to read more, it crashes - very frustrating when you're out of service

Great for free camps, but information is not always correct / up to date. But the app is free

Pretty good 👍 Sometimes new sites etc are a bit slow to be reviewed and added, same goes for comments etc. Still a very valuable tool to have in your box.

I find this easy to use and about 97% accurate as long as uses update info as they see it

One of the most helpful apps I've had. I'd give it 5 stars if there would be a setting to customize the order of the the things I'm looking for. Eg. to have "Campgrounds for self-contained", "Public Toilets", "Public Showers", "Water", and "Dump Stations" appear at the top for me. I and many fellow travelers hardly ever look for anything other than those and the order they appear in seems to be fairly random, I always have to search for them.

This app is a God send for anyone who is out here in New Zealand just looking to travel around this beautiful country but has no idea what they're doing. It makes finding all of the essential things you need super simple and keeps it all together in one app. Could not recommend this app more if you are going to be traveling around here. Download the offline map just in case but other than that, this app has it all.

Easy to use and a good source of information for available campsites.

This app is fantastic and was our lifeline on our 2-week road trip in a campervan. I was so relieved when we heard about this resource that was available from the NZ government - thank you NZ! The 1 major flaw is that you need signal for the map to load. There were many spots that signal was weak for us and we had trouble finding our next rest stop or holiday park. The app needs to include offline maps so that when you lose service you can still find your way.

Getting better as time goes by. I have no hesitation in recommending this app to those we meet on the road. Colour coded camps lets you choose your preferred sites easily without being inundated with high priced parks as first choice. Quick response from developers to my queries. My wife has wikicamps and we usually cross reference our travel plans to ensure we have the latest details. A credit to all involved.👍👍

Really convenient app. I use it mainly for unpowered site, and for interesting spot in the area. Works ok in offline mode.

This app needs to put all places where people can stay,, not just businesses and rest areas,, you shouldn't have to search everytime you want to browse the app..

Of the 3 apos I use, I prefer the UI of CamperMate but still mostly use a competition app as this one allows me to open the POI in any navigation app. Unlike the coordinates in CamperMate that directly link to Google Maps, the other apps use more universal GPS format and my phone lets me choose the App (I use an offline navigation). Also maps sometimes are not displayed but this might be as my phone is little older and onky has 2 GB RAM. I think this should be something easy to fix.

Offline map needs re-downloading each time you update the app. When I needed to actually use it while camping away from data reception, I found that none of my devices with Campermate had an offline map available. Disappointed at the short lifespan of offline maps and the apparent need to check the status before each individual camping trip.

Great free app, used it in New Zealand to find campsites, things to do and drinking water and now in Australia. Sometimes a campsite is missing, but that's probably because they're checking them before adding. The download option is really helpful when there is no reception.

For some of NZ sites it just showing the direction and site facilities. There is no contact info, website, etc.

Very good app. Easy to use. I played about with the filters to get the display I want. Sometime I'll download the offline map. The offline map didn't work. This app is amazingly, inredibly useful. I travelled by campervan before campsite books or mobile 'phones. This app makes life so much easier. Thank you.

we recently did a trip to New Zealand. this app made a campervan holiday a lot easier with wonderful recommendations of restaurants,camping spaces, availability and costs. it was also invaluable when it came to dumping stations and warnings on roads. I cannot recommend it highly enough just so easy to use.

Invaluable tool for camping around NZ, used it to find and check reviews for every campsite I visited, top notch. Maps for grocery shops, fuel stations, and dump stations for waste water were also very handy. Make sure to download the offline maps cos you won't get phone reception in the fun places!

booking a holiday park through the app can be more expensive. it's cheaper to go direct to the holiday parks website and book direct. is it possible to disable the database update when there's no WiFi connection? I'm stuck at the front splash screen if I've manually disable data access for the app. it'll still hang at the screen where it's telling you that it's performing database update.

Have been using app for a few years now. Love that it is free. Easy to use. Unfortunately I have been finding a number of free and low cost camp areas in the NT which are not on Campermate. No big deal as it is easy to submit and always approved as long as you can provide an email address and contact phone number for the camp site.

Couldn't have done our rental camper trip without this great app. We are touring NZ for 8 weeks and have used this app for every site. The comments added by users help in making the decision as to visit a site or not. I downloaded the off line map which means I can use the app even when I have not phone signal. I did try another popular app but found this one easier to use.

I have found this app easy to use and extremely useful when planning my bicycle camping trips.
