The campsite information in this app can be accessed for 1 calendar year. To benefit from the attractive overnight rates you need to show a (physical) valid CampingCard ACSI discount card at the reception.
The app gathers technical details which the developers can use to improve the app. Look in the app under ‘Settings’. Take note; using GPS can result in your battery running down more quickly.

Downloads taking forever to install as continually saying download incomplete so have to repeat download over and over again. Plus UK maps have lost nearly all the sites. Going back to the previous version far better even though it has a few issues itself
Since the last update the app is only in Dutch... eventually I worked out how to change the language. However, the app keeps crashing on unzipping certain maps... and says download error.
This new version is disappointing as it no longer allows copy and paste of Reviews. Previously it was possible to copy and paste into Google Translate so all persons reviews and experiences could be considered irrespective of the Language of the user. It has really spoilt the effectiveness and usefulness of the app.
Contacted ACSI twice about inability to load maps on both ACSI apps. Had no problems last year with same hardware. No reply forthcoming. As it stands I cannot recommend this app. UPDATE I was trying to figure out what had changed with my setup since last year when I used both ACSI apps without any problem. The only thing different was that I am now connecting using a VPN. Disabling the VPN allowed me to download the required maps. This may work for others experiencing the same problem if they use a VPN. ACSI may do well if they were to include advice stating that use of a VPN may hinder map downloads. I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.
Very slow to load but good and useful (my go to guide for finding sites in europe) Map quality isn't that good and find I have to use in conjunction with google maps. Says it's not optimised for tablets but seems ok, but can't use with split screen which is frustrating as the map quality isn't good. Also can't submit promotion codes in the review section, which means you miss out on promotions.
Yes, of course I am!!! Even so, I deleted and reistalled the app AGAIN and problem still there!! I have a Pixel 2 with stock Android 11 for goodness' sake. I'm a software developer myself and I can smell B#llsh1t when I hear it
App takes too much memory on my device....AND my device cannot be expanded by use of an SD Card ! ....your reply is therefore useless !!
It have been trying to load the Maps but It never finishes or jumps out of downloading. It Is currently unusable even though I have paid for the subscription.!!!
Cannot log in since the last update, it reports the email and password combination is not recognised the other ACSI app recognises the email and password combination without any issues.
The app appears in Dutch. Check the menu 4th button to change to English. It would help if this was made clear!
'Dowloading Data' is all it says. My partner just I just joined. She seems ok with her IOS but doesn't work on my Android.
Very slow and it shows zero campsites after downloading the offline maps (having paid for the App and the card)
As other users say this app is completely useless. Once installed all it does is to go to the login screen. Once there you MUST enter your userid and password, there is no other option although there is a register button that is greyed out. I have tried this on both a samsung tablet and a samsung s9 phone.
Quite easy to use and allows you to search for sites displaying a lot of useful information. Downloads are quite large and would benefit from you being able to control the content, for example not downloading pictures to save time and space
Great app for filtering ACSI card sites but I'm afraid many issues so far. I'm quite tech savvy yet found it painful understanding how to access the maps I had bought via the Europe app... didn't accept my account details several times, then worked. Map places names aren't in English so finding it difficult to understand where sites are in relation to Google Maps. Email site owner facility comes up with http error? Would be nice to link websites to sites so we can find out more info. All in all, not a very smooth process sorry.
This is not the latest 2021 app so opening dates and prices are not all currently valid. I have an ACSI annual subscription which includes the app but they simply advise me to download this one from Google Play Store and enter my reference number, which I have done, but find this is an outdated app! Very disappointing and no updated response from ACSI.
This app used to be really good and useful, but this year's version, often will not open, when it does it freezes then stops working. If is now a pain to use and I doubt I will renew next year. A real pity.
Useful adjunct to the guide book. I cannot understand why some users found problems. Maybe they had poor internet, or were using a slow phone with limited memory. The app works correctly on my android tablet.
As a means to research possible campsites prior to our holiday in France this app is great. Its also excellent for deciding which site to stay at with its information about the sites and the helpful user reviews. Finally by providing map refences its easy to locate the sites and find them once on holiday without having access to wifi.
Map zoom doesn't work properly. For example, coastal sites are shown in the sea as one zooms in!! Problem does not exist on ACSI Europe app. Android user.
cannot put data on memory card. Design is wrong as it only allows internal storage on my android Samsung galaxy A tablet. Cannot download data as no space on internal drive. Now found that I can manually move the files to the sd card but it still will not auto download to it.
Status of downloaded maps wrong, missing download/update buttons - reported this a month go (known issue I was told) - STILL NOT FIXED, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??
A very good campsite finder, but i think it is very important to phone the campsite to confirm the site is open and able to accommodate you. I think the best time to phone them is just before or the normal working day before starting your journey to the site.
Every time I look at photos full screen and then return to campsite description the app crashes. Very annoying!
Totally indispensable when planning and whilst touring with the caravan so much easier to use than the books and available off line.
handy app to look after campings during your trip. Not so handy that the regular Acsi app works separately. One combined app is more convinient.
very useful though the route planner does not always choose a direct route. The offline facility is good though limited.
App not downloading updates on Samsung Tablet. Since the last update map database fails to download new updates for 2020. Download starts but at 80% get an Error message saying download Failed when entering Checking Database mode. Have tried reinstalling but same thing happens. Update....all good after New Year
Sometimes these updates are SO annoying. Got to log in again, not terrible but. Got to download all the maps/data again, time consuming. Can no longer rotate the app on my tablet (both apps) , annoying. Do developers never consider end users? Also where campsites are close together you cannot see them separately on the map - more work definitely needed
