Disappointing I've been using the standard version of this app for 10 years. As I just bought a new phone, wanted to upgrade and got the new version with a licence since I've noticed ads being more intrusive and annoying. To my surprise, some features disappeared: No more export as jpg / save to gallery No more change the page order when you scan in batch mode. More over, some features became bugy. I cannot CHOSE manually the preset image processing (magic color, BW...) it is always on auto.
Seems fraudulent or misleading with "trial offer" that is extremely short, and then you are charged $53.×× for a full year's subscription when I SWEAR it was offered for a longer trial period, and a low monthly amount when the trial period ends. Now, my account does not exist after I contacted the developer for an explanation. Google Play support was NOT helpful.
Great app! But it's always irritating 🙄 when it says that you haven't signed up yet and after I will sign up it tells that password is wrong or can't sign up (even if I am entering the correct password) and when I want to export any pic from any categories it doesn't show it at all. So, it should we solved in an urgent basis 🤔 Then I may change star rating .🤔
I have registered 2 different accounts and can not sign in, the app tells me the account has not been signed up, even though I just signed up. I have the non HD version on my phone and it works great! love the app, if this gets resolved I will change my star rating.
I has Cam Scanner Pro for years. Paid once and had it. Worked amazingly. I start up the app today and its asking for a $50 A YEAR subscription for something that just takes pictures and saves them as a PDF. So glad that you guys are doing well and my money spent early on helped you get to this point. Deleting the app and finding a better alternative that isn't so obnoxiously priced.
Hijacked my files! Purchased Pro and used to love it. Now my paid version is no longer any good and they're charging new subscription. Worst part is, they hijacked all my files. Part of the subscription now is having a local folder for your own files. I did the free trial, downloaded my files and then immediately cancelled the trial. I'll give my money to a different app.
What's wrong with this app? Today I lost 99% of my stored info. Tried to reinstall this app and... it doesn't exist anymore. Instead it's Camscanner HD. Tried to login and... This account is not signed up. Ok. Clicking on sign up and... oops!!! This email address is already taken. Developers please advise.
Looks like CamScanner hasn't received an update since 2014. I've had an account for 4 years but cannot login due to "user not registered". However when I reset my password the email is sent to that account. Even after changing passwords I cannot access my documents stored in the cloud.
CAMSCAM PRO I purchased lifetime full version, which suddenly disappeared and changed to overpriced poorly functioning bellow average sad app. Stay away and look for more honest apps or just get a scanner from Amazon. Developers don't even have a decency to email existing full version users to offer alternative.... Shame really I don't unrest and how can Google play store go along with this malpractice when the issue was brought up over and over again
I too belief something fishy happened a few years back. I had for the pemium service and then camscanner created new tools or design change i honestly do not recall the reason but i can assure you that the app and its initial offering changed over night in the cover of darkness. Still think I ts the best scanning app outthere so it hurts when i use it. ugh.
to tell the truth i only installed this for school and i think that lighting up the doc/picture makes it harder to read as you have made the words blury a lot. The quality is also really bad i would rather use any other app then this one. it was hard to crop my pictures a lot and i often got in trouble for that so i hope that you can resolve these problems as soon as possible.
I bought the full version of Cam Scanner HD a few years ago. Just got a new phone and found my contract for a full version appears to be no longer valid. I am now asked to pay AGAIN for the full version, but this time it is SAAS (which I detest - it's a rort) and surprise, now it is a yearly subscription over a substantial amount. A very very poor exchange. In future, I will take snaphots of my documents with my ordinary phone camera and you can stick your SAAS business model where the sun don't shine
I paid for the full version in 2012. I went to use it just now and found my purchase has been invalidated even though even Google Play shows I own the license. So now, because Cam Scanner has stolen money from me, I now am required to pay a monthly/yearly fee (even though I have already paid for a lifetime version in 2012). This company is a theft ring and have stolen money from thousands of users just like me. Do not recommend thieves.
Very helpful and convenient for scanning documents. The quality of the scan isn't always great but it's pretty good considering the scan is using a phone camera.
Camscanner HD review. every time I try to submit a review about this app I get an error message, From any of my android devices. I want to add some how I think the dev creator has been able to stop/thwart people from posting review's. less control also less built in tools like file rename labeling (docs/image created). prefer original cam scanner which does HD lol gimmicky I posted this from my home PC now. BOOM!
I bought this product years ago with lifetime license, now after some recent updates it doesn't want to open anymore. Also on the way they limited more and more features and move them to subscription plan.... But I paid for lifetime version!
Great app, I've used this app for a few year's now. I really like the auto crop and square up the picture. I did buy the key. I don't have the subscription yet.I like that with the subscription .scanned documents are live and editable. Way to go Thank You
Useles app, it never let me sign in. Always saying that I have not sign up when I already have even from to different accounts. Stupid app just a waste of time. Trying to sign up and sign in. It sent me an email to confirm then it said congratulations you are signed up and when I want to log in it doesn't let me because it says I haven't sign up. Don't download this useless app look for so soothing better. Help support doesn't help at all this just trash.
Having issue on S10, all buttons at bottom of page after taking a photo are merged together. Which makes this app very difficult to use.
I was using cam scanner on my Moto G5S Plus and it was all going well until today when I changed my phone to Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. I downloaded cam scanner hd and I am unable to sign in. When I try to sign in with my email it asks me to sign up even though I already am registered. And then when I try to sign up it says registration failed. Please help!
I have used the CamScanner HD for several years. It helps me to organise documents which are interesting/of value to me. The "Tags" feature is very strong and good in grouping up related information 👍
I haven't really seen any reviews for this about its other, unknown uses, but this app is even great for artists like myself!! i don't have a scanner so that I can get nice pictures of my drawings and found out about this app on tumblr! I tried it out and it works fantastically!!! You just have to mess with the settings a bit too get the right feel you're wanting, but that's totally worth it. I live it, it makes my life a whole lot easier!!!
