CamScanner -Phone PDF Creator

First time, low tech level user. (ie: Hollerith cards/Google definition) Pleasantly pleased with initial ease of use. I don't know enough about scanning software to nitpick; and wouldn't anyway. All i know is that it works, and has an easy user interface for my deteriorating neurons.

I have been using this app for many years now and it is one of the few apps I actually paid for. The performance is outstanding, the auto crop is usually super accurate, and it does everything I could ask. I mainly use this as a scanning and sharing app. I will say I had some issues trying to use it to fax a while back.... But I think it was more user error than anything else.

I have been using CamScanner for several years and love it! I can scan anything and it crops and saves it as a PDF or different file if you prefer. I can save it or send it now or later. The pictures and documents are clear and it immediately crops it. I also like that that it brightens the document if it's too dark. I tell everybody about CamScanner all the time and even show them how easy it works! I do pay for the yearly service because it's totally worth it!

Love this app. However, I haven't used another scanning app to compare but I've always been satisfied with the quality of the images especially since I'm using a free version of it. I'm sure the perks you get are even better when you pay for an upgraded version, but since my only need is to scan a document once in a while, I am happy.

This app used to be great, but now it is filled with spam, some that you cannot close without exiting the program. I like the actual scanning and auto repair of documents, but I can't take the spam anymore. I am looking for another scanner that is like what this one used to be.

Honestly this app is basically magic. You can take even terrible photos with shadows and bad lighting. It will then magic them into what looks like perfectly scanned PDFs (or whatever other file type). For most things the free version works well and the watermark is no big deal. Pro removes that watermark and ads. All in all it has saved me a lot of headaches when dealing with paperwork.

Great scanning of a difficult image. I tried several Tools, with limited quality, before using CS. It was simple and fast and most important the "No shadow" option is all that i needed. Just needed to be very careful on the edges of the documents because of the automatic trimming. Thank you!

I've used the free version of CamScanner for the last 6 years. I use it to scan and email all of my work related receipts to reconcile my corporate credit card. I can't imagine using any other product. I find CamScanner intuitive and simple to use. The paid version adds significant enhancenements, but at this point in time i do not require them.. I highly recommend CamScanner. I'm still using it and still loving it.

I love this app! I use it mostly to scan my certificates that I earn for continuing education to keep a digital copy and keep them organized for my nursing license. However, I have found many more uses for it. The scanned images turn out brighter and much easier to see. I can rename each image and organize them into folders.

Accidentally signed up for the yearly free trial and got charged $60 after only using the app one time. $60 is a ridiculous amount to pay for using the app one time. Especially with it being a service I can get for free elsewhere. Only allowed 3 days to cancel and wasn't notified until the charge went through my bank. I received no emails and I could not figure out how to cancel from the app until it was too late. The Gold offered me no service that was worth even the $7 a month.

It's a good appl, tho it cost me $39.99 for the next year of usage! No other document management app that I've used, comes even close to the clarity, definition or transfer minimum time as CamScanner performs flawlessly. Although, I've just noticed that CS has been taking copies of whatever they want, out of my phone. This is unacceptable. CS permissions, removed. Now the app only works when I, authorize it's permissions. Beware!!!

I use CamScanner for several years and find it extremely useful. During this time I switched several phones and my experience with CamScan was great with all the phones. CamScanner not only totally eliminates the need of a physical scanner, it is much more handy as it allows sharing the scanned docs.

They'd charged me for 1 YEAR GOLD ACCOUNT Subscription even I only chose for Free 3 day Trial, and now I can't request for a refund. Before, I'm using free 3 day trial and I cancel it before it expires, and they can't charged me because I have insufficient balance on my account, but I can use the 3 day trial for free. But now that I have enough to pay for it, they charged me and deduct it from my balance. Update: as of 4:24PM of same day, May 19,2022, I got my refund.

This app is awesome and a problem solver ESPECIALLY in a crunch. This app saves me time as a college student, a mother, when looking for work and applying for other programs that require filling out paperwork and turning in digitally. I will never delete camscanner!

Wonderful app! Easy to maneuver around in. Self-explanatory. I am in and out in a matter of minutes. Definitely 5 stars!! I Love it! I can do a lot of things without paying a premium. So many apps want to charge for every little thing, but this app is not that way. It really is a wonderful app.

I highly recommend this apps camscanner cause it's easy and fastest way to send documents. The result of scanning comes with high definition so clear and readable. No need to waste of time scanning in printer and going to internet cafe just to scanned documents. Thank you for this innovations

Use to get able to scan documents, hit the next button, tap the check mark button located bottom right of screen, tap the pdf button, then the share button, tap the Google Mail icon, then when the Google mail screen loads is when I have issues, it use to automatically load my email address & also load auto the document I want to send, now it doesn't even do that when I do the other steps

This app is ana amazing way to easily, quickly, and accurately scan important documents, business cards, etc. This app has never failed me since first using the premium features as a college student 5+years ago. Even without the premium features this app has been extremely useful. Thanks @CamScanner team♥️!!

This app is like magic. It is abke to remove shadows luke they were never there. It removes the lighring problems from scanning documents and the magic color filter also makes it crystal clear for viewing (as long as your hand doesn't shake too much).

Simple, Quick, Easy, Good Quality Picture Options. Less than 5 minutes to figure out all the controls to get stuff done, and move on with my day. User since 2017 both for Home and Work uses.

I'm using OPPO A95, when I am editing the photos, it was blank and I can't see anything, so I can't crop accordingly. Pls help. Edit: Hi, I've tried to feedback through the app, but it was stuck at Please Wait... Then a message saying Feedback Error appeared. Can I email instead?

Used once. So far it's easy, user-friendly, free, and looks professional. The only downside to the free version is that all scans come with a watermark that says something like "Scanned by CamScanner". It's like $5 /month (ish) to upgrade to remove that. Meh.

I use Can Scanner for everything! Personal, professional, you name it! Saves me so much time and energy and always makes changing formats, sending on multiple platforms- super convenient.

I tested a number of apps on a 350 words German text. The accuracy of the scanned text was about 95%. On several other tests I experienced lot of glitches, e.g. the app couldn't OCR tax tasking to try later (???), another attempt ended up in a blank page. Another one with only about half of the text recognized. It is still better than 75% of others.

Excellent for the basic scan/photo & record for documents, posters in the street, etc! The more complex stuff can be done in the armchair later! Some things are fiddly if you don't do them frequently! Overall though, find it incredibly useful, a bit quirky but excellent!

Gets the work done. I am quite happy with this app. I have a flatbed scanner and when I have many documents or multi-page documents to scan it can be quite cumbersome. But camscanner gers the job done quickly and efficiently. The new shadow removal feature is a God-send.

Amazing app to have a scan on a go. Worked out and helped tons of times when I needed to scan docs, but there was no scanner around. Very easy to navigate and use the cropping tools.
