Was watching Doctor Who on Amazon Prime last night, decided to check something else. Nothing available for the show I wanted. Then decided to see what info it had for Doctor Who, and according to the app, DW isn't available on ANY streaming service. Yet it IS. So why is the app showing the wrong info. The idea and concept is a great one, and would be very helpful.... if it was only correct. Sadly, I'm uninstalling. Would be easier to search on the streaming service itself.

This was a useful tool for years, but now it doesn't seem to be supported or curated anymore. It's a shame because it was a great app. The best alternative right now is the recently updated Chromecast app which now lets you search for content, and lets you know where to find movies and shows. Although it doesn't include as many services in it's results as Can I Stream does (did).

utter garbage, doesn't work at all. Does nothing but show ads. Search box returns zero results even for exact movie/tv titles. When/If it does find a result, attempting to click on that result produces a force close of the app. Tested on a PixelXL and Pixelbook. Same ad nonsense, same crashes as upflix. Both of these services/apps could be really great. But the devs just don't seem to care. Uninstalled.

Wish it had a better way to browse currently popular titles across streamers. Would give it 5 stars except for that and some inaccuracies. EDIT: This app has gone way downhill. Doesn't give the right info, crashes, clunky navigation. Dropped from 4 to 2 stars.

If there is a trailer for a movie (Mockingjay pt2, before it was released in theaters, for example) it shows as having the movie on Hulu. If there are later seasons (Survivor, for example) and you search S1E1, it says it's available on Hulu. S1 is *not* available on Hulu. As others have said, it also says things are not streamable when they are. There is no way to report errors or corrections and no way to contact the developers via the app.

I used to use this as my go-to source to find if something is available to stream/rent/buy but as time has passed it has become increasingly innaccurate. Now, more often than not, it returns an unavailable even though it is. If they can't fix the accuracy, there is no reason to have this app.

This is more a criticism of the website than the app as the website yields the same results. App used to give very accurate streaming info, but now almost always days not available, but if I go to streaming sites, I can find the movie or TV show on multiple sites. Makes the app unreliable. The app itself is a 3 star at best.

Doesn't give accurate information about what's available. Tried a few titles and it gives you the cover page of the movie, but everything regarding what's available and where is inaccurate. If it wants to be a real aggregator it needs to list a lot more apks than they do and they need to be accurate. Look for something better

This app stopped working on my Note 4 months ago. The searches were great, when I could get them. Now all that returns is a blank, black box with nice, filleted corners. No results, not even a notification that I get no results, even on movies shown in the home screen. I'm disappointed.

I've never had glitchy issues like some other people, but I've had the app for nearly a year and I've noticed more and more inaccuracies as time goes on (says a movie should be on Netflix instant and it's not, etc). Would be nice if they'd add an easy way to report inaccuracies.

Think of a TV Show or movie. Open the app. Search for the content. The app then informs you if the content is available to stream, rent, purchase, DVDs or Blueray, and Xfinity. Availability is indicated by the price or subscription type below the servicer logo indicating the service provides the searched content. If the service does not provide the searched content, a clock overlay is presented over the servicer logo and "n/a" below the servicer logo to indicate the service has yet to provide the content.

Everytime I find this app might be useful to save me time it says what I'm looking for isn't available on anything. Then I manually search Netflix, hulu, Amazon etc.. And voila there it is. I've waited almost a year for it to get better and it hasn't. Great concept, horrible execution.

Tho. P. Dec 8, 2015

I agree with the majority of the reviews I've seen; this app is a good idea, but poor execution. Pressing enter in the search box inserts a newline instead of sending the search (small change, but very annoying). Also, many results are wrong. It tells me content isn't available to stream anywhere, when it is. So it doesn't even do its main job.

So when I read about this app I was elated. Everything I wanted in one place, every streaming service imaginable. But I've noticed over time that everything says unavailable then I'll stumble across it while searching titles. And that happens alot. Not sure if they don't update regularly or what but it's just not working out for me anymore and I'm going with another app.

Everything shows N/A even though you can search the program on the Internet and find its availability. The developers are clearly not keeping up with this app, which is a shame because it's exactly the type of thing people need to cut the cord. Uninstalling now.

It's free, so I won't complain, but it didn't seem to work at all. I tested shows that I know are being streamed on particular services and this app shows them incorrectly. Oh well. Great idea, poor execution. I'd gladly pay $5.00 for something like this if it actually worked. Full screen video ads are awful. I'd pay to have them go away.

It worked the first time I looked up a movie them it freaked out on me. I closed it and tried to start again. The app loaded fine, but I tried to search for another title and it never stopped searching. I tried a few times and unfortunately this app failed miserably. It's a great idea, I just wish it worked.

When searching for TV shows the results have been completely inaccurate. In fact, I searched for over a dozen shows I have watched in the last few days on various streaming services and all of them resulted in a result of "not available" for streaming or rental. Had 10 or more full screen ads pop-up in addition to the banner ads during that 20 minute search. Uninstalled, great concept but doesn't meet minimum expectations.

I have over 40 movies to be notified with by this app. Going on two years now it has never notified me of anything. Not only that, but the app crashes any time I actually try to add anything. Not a very useful app if I have to add via the browser.

Har. S. Jun 19, 2015

This was once a useful idea. I don't know what happened, but it began to fail more and more until I stopped using it. After a while I tried it again with a test of movies and series available. It failed 18 of 20 at which point I deleted it.

Jam. H. Jan 23, 2016

In theory this is an insanely useful app. But its not always up to date causing you to see a movie in what's popular only to find its bit available through the streaming service it says then while browsing you may get an advert, when this happens, you have to start back at square one. Fix this an this app would be 5 stars otherwise, meh.

Ste. Y. Nov 24, 2016

I tried to search for movies that I wanted to see but none of them showed up in the search. I then tried to look up some TV shows that I stream off of Hulu and Amazon, and it said that they were not available, when I can go watch them right now. Awesome idea for an app, if the results were at all accurate.

The. Apr 14, 2016

I've tested it with lots of titles that you can watch on the various streaming services. None of the titles I looked up showed up on the App as being available. While it was a great App in the past years it seems to have lived past it's time of usefullness.

Jef. H. Mar 13, 2016

Used to be somewhat useful, but lately I'm not getting anything useful from it, just ads. Wish the search would execute from the enter/ return key on the keyboard, rather than entering a useless carriage return.

Great app to find out where you can legally stream your favorite movies and shows. Thanks to this app I found a new free streaming service called "snagfilms" to legally stream older movies as well as many newer less popular titles plus many, many documentaries.

Dad. Aug 20, 2017

Thought this would be useful. Searched one move I know is streaming on Hulu which this app said was not. Tried searching a popular TV series, got an annoying full screen add without an option too close. Then the app told me to choose the season to search but the season selection box didn't work. Used for 5 minutes and will never use again.

Hate is a pretty strong word. I dont do it. And that is the only reason I didnt give this app one star. I love the concept, use Allflicks all the time, but was hoping to be able to search all streaming services at the same time. Unfortunately this one has only had one or two accurate results on things that I KNOW are on Netflix because I just watched them. :-(
