Can you escape the 100 room VIII

Absolutely zero direction on some puzzles which are NOT at all intuitive. I don't mind them being difficult to solve, but I'd like to at least know what I'm supposed to accomplish. And the number puzzles typically involve some type of wacko formula that a normal human couldn't possibly follow. Being challenging is one thing, but being completely obscure to the point of illogical is another.

I really like these games, I've been playing them for years. A really great balance of ads to sit through, but not many at all. If you want a free hint, then an ad. If you don't want one, no ad, you don't get it shoved in your face. A quick 5 second ad between levels, very easy to digest. My only problem is the colours, not very good for colour blind people, maybe change colours for numbers to make it more accessible for all. All in all, excellent.

Some puzzles are very difficult. You can't just go to YouTube and get the solution from a walk through video. If you run out of hints, you can't solve the puzzle to advance to the next level. sometimes it lets you try to spin to get free hints. But every time it lands on ads. No hint. the earlier series let you get more hints. I am very bored with this game. Some of the puzzles make absolutely no sense. Even if you go to YouTube and watch the walk thru.

I used to play this series and while I enjoyed them in my free time two things I didn't like: the rooms weren't challenging enough IMO and the hardest part was I guess finding the object and not having it be labled to know what it was or doing a mini game that was time consuming, but not clever or intuitive. Second, was the same annoying theme music on EVERY game! And there's no option to turn it off without muting entire game. Thank you for having different music this time at least.

I have played all of your escape games. The earlier ones were the best. Escape 7 & 8, not good at all. I uninstalled 8 at level 18. The puzzles don't make any sense and some you just can't figure out. Unlike the earlier games, you get no hints. So if you can't figure out the puzzle, you can't advance. You can't tell what the items are, if you even get them. I had to tap items multiple times before they went into inventory. Or you tap near the bottom and accidentally hit the ad.

Overall the game is good and a lot of fun, but so many times, the hints just don't make sense ( I just completed a puzzle where you have to add 3 to every number in order to get the proper code. One of the numbers was actually the letter X and the solution was add 3 and you get 8??? What??). Some of the picture Clues for solving some of the puzzles actually make it even more confusing. The developers might think that those Clues are helpful but that's only because you know the solution.

i like the challenges but some games don't make sense. level 43 has a game where the #60 is the game but it was so hard i had to look up the answer. several circles did not add up to 60. i never would have gotten through it. also, sometimes the number answer I give doesn't work but after giving up and looking up the answer, I had it right, it just wouldn't work. just a few glitches but i still like the game

This one has alot of good puzzles in it and the graphics are pretty good. it just lacks a few things. First of all some of the objects are hard to identify it should say what they are and the other issue is that some of the puzzles dont make sense at all or there aren't clear directions on how to play. it is no fun having to look up the walkthrough because you have no idea what to do.

I love this game! It challenges your mind in many different ways and is plain fun. Though there are some of the puzzles are almost impossible to do or they don't make any sense on how they got to the solution. I also wish that the game would give you free hints every 15min of game time. The "free" hints spinning wheel hardly ever lands on the free hints. I'm finding myself get super frustrated that I can't pass a level cuz I can't figure the puzzle.

Really love the game although some puzzles are a bit illogical.Only 3 stars because cannot get more than 1 hint. The spinner ALWAYS stops at 'ads' and you can never get hints - you can't earn any in the game either. Have had to search on YouTube in some instances because it's not always clear what needs to be done. Some levels long and difficult, some easy. Some puzzles require alot of thought and calculation, some are straightforward and a few are just a bit tedious. Good variety overall.

Great game, but... I love these games and I've been playing them for a long time. Problem I have with this particular episode, 8, is that frequently I'll do a correct puzzle combination and it still doesn't work so I hit the hint button only to find out that I have done it correctly and it just wants me to undo it and redo it. It's frustrating for me when I waste a hint especially if I've had to pay for some. Some of the puzzles make no logical sense either in this episode 8.

Downloaded this one day when I was super bored due to the lockdown. Turned out to be the best puzzle game app series ever made! Thank you for this. Just finished part 7 of the series. Now playing part 8! I have one tiny suggestion - It would be great if there was a "Colorblind mode" so that people like me can the colors apart easily. That was the only ONE thing that bugged me throughout.

In the same mould as earlier chapters, but different enough. Some puzzles very puzzling, not sure I understand them all even now. They start easy enough but get harder, some respite in the early 30s. I wouldn't like to try on small screen, as sometimes it is difficult to tell what objects are even on tablet. Fortunately you are not penalised for random pressing. Works when not connected to the interweb.

I love the escape games. Many of the puzzles don't seem to make sense, even after using clues to finish it. Each room has multiple items to find and place in order to reveal the next step and two puzzles to complete. I seriously can only do one room a night. It is frustrating to finish seven days collecting higher number of hints and then be bumped back to the first day one hint.

Overall, the game is fun, but this one leaves a lot to be desired in specific ways. First of all, some of the clues you're supposed to find are really, really hard to see. There were a few I used hints on that I still couldn't make out even though I knew what to look for. Second, some of the leaps required in logic are way far-fetched, so hints are almost a requirement. Lastly, the company only allows you to watch ads for free hints a few times. After that, be prepared to pay. Hate that change.

The mini games often are boring, quite rarely interesting. It's a waste of time, even more when there are no instructions and you have to stay for long time thinking... people have enough to think during their jobs, you don't do anything to try to give some relaxation. Less stupid mini games and more clues, the latter can change your game from "I can't, I'm too bored, I'm going to uninstall", to "wow it's interesting, I like it!"

Some of the puzzles are really obscure and close to impossible to figure out. Just finished a level where I was expected to mimic the shape of a completely random object in the room to complete a puzzle. Never would have figured that out without a hint. Otherwise, gameplay is smooth and keeps me entertained.

A nice looking game. However I can't give it a high rating because first - one wants to become better at solving these puzzles, but doesn't as the most difficult puzzles are not explained, the game simply takes your 3 tips and you move on. So whenever you get the same puzzle in the future you are as clueless as the first time. Second - inability to expand inventory. Items there are not zoomable and are sometimes so small one can't always tell what they are even on a relatively big mobile screen

Definitely the worst out of all 8. The others were challenging, but made sense. In this one, the puzzles just do not appear logical. I finally caved and used a hint on level 6, and even with the hint it made no sense and could not deduce how someone is supposed to arrive at that conclusion. Edit: hints do not replenish like they do in 1-7 and by the mid 30s some of the puzzles are just ridiculous. changed to 1 star. Amazing how EVERY single one of their games is 4.5 stars 🤔

I dont care for this version at all. The free hints spin doesnt work, just gives more ads with no reward. Also many of the answers to these puzzles makes no logical sense so I get stuck on some. Then I finally get a hint but it shows an answer with no logical way of getting to that answer. I like a challenge but at least make them make sense or it's no fun. You literally almost have to pay for ads to advance in this game. Uninstalling.

Good puzzles, but I have clicked on several areas that I had the right piece or sequence and nothing happened. After going in and out of the puzzle several times it eventually started to work. It gets frustrating when you don't know if you are right or wrong if the puzzle doesn't react properly. This needs to be fixed before this game is even worth playing! Even the hints are telling me that I am correct. Really annoying!

I love this game....normally, the free hint spin rarely ever work only give ads. Some of these levels are WAY TOO HARD and even with youtube help i cannot figure level 24. Now trying to decide do i continue trying to do the puzzle or delete the game. Very frustrating especially since i am pretty good at figuring these puzzles out. I hope they do some stuff to make the super hard puzzle more passable.

These escape games are great entertainment and do stimulate brain activity ! The one limitation that occurs now and then is with the "Play this game" episodes. Some of these are so intricate and take so much time that they are not really worth pursuing. The occasional bits of help provided are not much help and it would be better to be able to expend one hint for a little help rather than using 3 hints and having it done for you ! Nonetheless, the best games I have found for quite a while.

This has been the only version I have wanted to delete without finishing. If you get stuck on a puzzle you have to spin for hints, meaning you will almost always land on an ad instead. I probably had to watch 50 ads before winning 1 hint ... and it takes 3 hints to pass a puzzle! I don't mind being challenged, but some days I just need to relax, and having to speng hours spinning for a hint, watching ad after ad ... that just wrecks the whole game.

This is by far the worst of the lot. Many puzzles have no direction at all and many don't even work! Even when you have the answer it doesn't register as solved!! Case in point, the abstract painting in level 45 it refuses to accept the solved puzzle I had to even look at a walkthrough and it is correct but just St sits there and I refuse to pay for hints when it is freaking solved!!!!
