Canasta (Free, no Ads)

Best canasta game I've found by long shot I only give four stars because you give no options to play draw two or other variants without buying premium. I've always played draw two and find game boring draw one. I'm sure people who alway play sequence feel the same. Economy bad here, should be able too injoy game. Also wish could challenge anyone and wish could share tips andearn more chips and make friends list Ike most games. Site could evolve more. But thanks for a great game.

Could be so good - but unfortunately the developers seem to have a cowboy approach that benefits them financially. You can buy extra chips - v reasonably priced too - so what's the problem? The app goes through frequent periods of losing connection to the server (even if you are sitting next to your Wi-Fi router and/or have full bars for 4G). Often you can reconnect within a minute to the server (it's an annoyance but not the end of the world - even if you have to do this more than 20 times in the same game). However, sometimes the Canasta Servier issues are so bad that it just cuts you off completely - YOU LOSE YOUR CURRENT CHIPS that YOU have PAID FOR. Evidently it is not in the developer's interest to fix these types of bugs as these bugs generate more income for them. If you write and complain about the app's behaviour you just get a standard 'fob off' reply. Other: I'm guessing that this app is developed to be used on a tablet, as it is far too crowded with minute writing when used on a standard android phone. The last app update I received (13th November) has been the worst ever with the most frequent and severe dis-connections and very very buggy (picks up the wrong cards, won't let you discard, doesn't show all of the cards your opponents have put down).

Best layout of cards , discard pile and ..flow of game. Minimal loss of connection..on game side...should not penalize a player from loyalty points though! 99% satisfied with this game site.

I have been playing now for a few weeks and can honestly say "The APP is great". No problems. It's much more fun playing with humans. I highly recommend this Canasta game ... what a treat. Everyone is polite.

Love this canasta game. The computer generated card distribution is very real like. Win some lose some, a lot depends on your partner too.

Perfect app. Free is free. Paid is worth it if you enjoy the game. No pressure to buy if you don't want to. Very very good app.

Tonight was playing and cards was dealt.. I couldn't play as I didn't have any cards,I took a screen shot.. where and how can I send it...I lost points and was ban from playing for 5 minutes...

I really enjoy the game and that there are no ads. Great that sometimes it's 2 player and sometimes 4. However you never complete a game? It plays 2 or 3 hands and then everyone says goodbye. I don't get it. I've never managed a game where anyone's melding with 120, it just finishes.

Have contacted support numerous times previously. See response below. Be careful paying for premium with limited support. The app is pretty good in general across most devices. However, I have to have two accounts because I am unable to login with facebook on the chromebook android app for some reason. Support was not helpful. Having seperate accounts makes statistics and ranking irrelevant and less fun. Be careful purchasing premium until you are sure your account works across all your devices.

Good app, but it would be nice to know the rules of custom games before we commit. Also, at the end of the games, there are multiple screens, and it would be nice if we could see them layered, and go back and forth between them instead of only having the option to close them. Would like to view member profiles from the lobby, without committing to a game.

For a long period I had 3 stars 2years now I'm down to 2 I worked hard to earn 3 now I'm not able to ply with better players why ??? Regina

Premium in India is very costly. Also chatting options are very limited.

Definitely need a card counter on the pile, and it would be really great if people would understand how points work.... too many idiots who don't pay attention and don't play sequences. Very frustrating, wish there was a way to make it so we need 2 or 3 full sequences first.

As a beginner player (1 star) you feel terrible after every game because they consistently match you up with much more experienced players than yourself. And, if you trust them with "quick match" they put you in games with players with much more experience who also have set up high risk tables where you can lose a good portion of your chips in one game. Very frustrating

Makes me a better player every time I play. Great for all skill levels. It's fast, fair, and friendly. I was a beginner-level player with experience in games like gin rummy and rummikub... And I can say now, after a very short time with this app (Premium paid version) I have been able to out-Canasta a seasoned veteran. 5 stars

It's a very strange system of assigning the cards. I have to wait for one single card to finnish for ever. Also i get rid of one card, the oponent picks it up and puts out 4 of them, the next three are exactly the ones i got rid of. It's a very unfair game.

Play is way too slow. If opponent is computer-generated, then shouldn't have such a long time while making their play. I lost interest quickly. Very boring compared to other Canasta games. Only positive is ad-free, but still not worth it.

i've tried clicking. i've tried dragging. i literally can't figure out how to do a single thing on this gameboard. maybe it's just incompatible with my phone?.... and the help section just explains the game; not how to use the app. oh, and they want to "punish" me (in rank or something, i think) for quitting games rather than making the players wait while i deal with this. they won't even let me interact with them in my own words in case they could help or just need to know what's up.

Ugh...hard to play when seems unfair. I don't get a "foot", yet my opposing player always seems to! They play and play, while I am stuck with my one card that I need to play, but have to discard. The opposing player is down to their last card, and get get dealt a brand new additional hand to use. Something is terribly wrong! And even worse, my opponent gets to draw from the discard pile when he does NOT have two in his hand, but I am not allowed! Everyone should have to play by the same rules!

I love to be able to set the rules for a private table. Clubs are great to keep in person players playing during this pandemic. I really like the friends and the ignore buttons to fill a table with authentic sequence players and eliminate disruptors.
