The camera filters are really cool if you're looking for unusual effects. Its not a camera for beauty filter or that improves landscape or scenery - its specifically for unusual, artistic, mindbending effects. I don't have any coding skills, so I don't know what its capabilities are as far as being open source but if you can handle the 30 second ads every 15 clicks, its pretty cool.
App is really good. It solves the major problem of experiencing all those image processing techniques that are hard to visualize from reading the books. Also many people with lack of programming knowledge were facing the same problem. But this app vanishes them all. Kudos team and keep going. I'm lovin' it! :)
The app takes pictures and applies filters in real time, the low download size is a nice bonus. Settings are auto. To tweak the setup you need to switch to default camera app(pencil icon, camera) to take the picture then edit from Canny. The filters are top notch. I found some of them to be pretty cool. Tap the pencil icon and try on the default pic. Perhaps you find one suitable for your background or profile pic?
I've used this occasionally for a while, and enjoyed it previously, but there are now too many ads for it to be fun for me any more. You can only look at a few of the effects before you get a 30-second "ad break". That means it's useless as a child amuser. And there doesn't seem to be any way to pay to opt out of ads :(
The app is great, but the only problem is that some filters, which are the best among them all, are really heavy (hull for example). Would really appreciate if you added viewport resolution options and final resolution (cause FHD is really dumb when sensor does up to 4K). Hope to see an update.
The amount of filters in this app is impressive! Love that you can apply them to pictures in real time and also to pictures you upload! Definitely need a paid version with no ads though! The ads are incredibly annoying and pop up way too often!
I like this app. Yes the ads are annoying, but so are all other ads, people gots to get paid! The functionality you get for free, is well worth the agitation a full screen ad brings. Of course, your opinion may differ from mine 😉
Good idea, smooth implementation. The only feature, that is missing is video effects - understood, that its a different load, but should be doable & rather fast using NPU, popping up in smartphones. Keep it up!
The app is good, not for taking picture but the editing works just fine. I guess lots of people misunderstood the purpose of the app. One note for developers, I think circle effect needs to be improved
I really like this app. There are some great filters and effects. I do think the ads are a bit overkill, but I understand the developer needs to earn a living. I would recommend this app with the caveat that you may get frustrated with the ad breaks.
PLEASE UPDATE THIS TO RECORD VIDEO INSTEAD OF ONLY TAKING PICTURES! I love the effects, but it is clear that many of these effects are only impressive if they were recorded as video, not as a single frame.
Very good use of open cv, I really loved it. You can do one more during some effects it applies to whole instead provide distinct features like eye or nose or mouth or face only etc.,
THE 1ST day I put this app on my samsung I couldn't put it down. It is being installed on my tablet as I type this. I have to be careful of opening this app as i just can not stop. I use it inside ...pics of pets...when i take walks... Reminds me of the 70s. Lol. Thank you! Have other apps? U use at least 40 editing and camera apps. I think this may be the best as far as me thinking "omg wonder what that would look like through Canny" you my hero! DOWNLOADED ALL YOUR APPS
It's so sad that this app that you made has so much potential but yet there's just some extra things that shouldn't be on here and then there's no sense of direction of understanding what you're trying to provide for us so yeah but there are some good ideas for camera tricks and all but again like I said you didn't set any kind of direction for people like me who are into photography don't know what to do with this out exactly
Not an Editor, it just a filter app it nothing to do with editing, there is no way to lighten, saturate, add contrast, sharpen, detailing, blur etc........... . This app is good for Instagramers not serious photo Editors.
Interesting addition to the world of filter apps. Requires adjustment of intensity level when applying effect to images...and of course video application. Well done!!
I rarely give rating to any app but this app forced me to do so. I can take my creative mind in next level and this tool is add-on in my professional creativity tool. One update I wish is ,It would be good if we can hide all control from ui if we want to see complete preview screen.
Really loving these photo manipulations- some unique things going on here. The app is still pretty bare-bones, but usable & stable. Worth checking it out.

Takes too long to open and I have to manually turn on the flash every time but when I do use it it takes really nice, clear pictures.
Though I understand there are ads here because the app is free, I absolutely love this app! My father saw a pic I clicked from this and for someone who is not really into photography and smartphones, he got addicted to this 😂 Must say, thank you for developing this!
This is hands down the COOLEST PHOTO APP ONTHE MARKET!! Its free too!! This is a MUST HAVE if youre into glitch or trippy filters! They are live too so this app is literally PERFECT.!
I found this app accidentally, but now using it often for my Instagram! Very creative filters and the App itself is very fast and optimized.
Too many ad "breaks" popping up without warning right in the middle of editing (without the ability to at least x out of them, including video ads with sound on as default). NOT COOL and the height of ignorance on the part of the Dev. Place one static ad at the top or bottom to keep it free. Period. Better yet, offer an in-app purchase to get rid of them. Uninstalling this app and replacing it with any of the other 2 billion filter apps currently on the Play Store.
