Canara Bank is launching the Official Authentication Application called CanPass for Canara Bank Cardholders that will help users to authenticate transactions seamlessly and securely from their mobile Device.
 
1. Hassle Free Registration: Existing Cardholders can register to CanPass application in just 2 clicks. No typing long forms to register.
2. Easy Login: Registered users can log in simply by scanning their fingerprint.
3. Authenticate from your Mobile: CanPass Application is designed to help customers authenticate card transactions directly from their Mobile devices either by paying via push notification or Offline OTP.
4. Real-Time Push Notification: When users initiate a transaction, the users will instantly receive a notification on the registered mobile device to authenticate a transaction. Users can complete the transaction just by clicking ‘Pay’ on the notification.
5. Offline OTP: Users will be able to seamlessly and securely complete a transaction without waiting for an OTP. If the user is Offline and cannot receive an OTP, the transaction can still be completed by typing an offline OTP generated in CanPass Application.
6. Transaction History: Users will be able to view the history of all transactions that were authenticated from the CanPass Application.

During the registration process the application will request access to:
1. 'Make and Manage Phone Calls'
2. 'Send and view SMS messages'

For security reasons, the application requires these permissions to register by sending an SMS from the user-selected SIM for registration. The registration SMS must be sent manually during the registration process

It is not allowing me to set any password. My phone got registered but no password got set. When I open the app it asks for confirming password. If I give forgot password, warning message comes that all my phone data has to be wiped out including contacts photos etc. How can it do that. This is for pass book viewing or what. Not at all good app as compared to Esynd e passbook. Going to uninstall it

I would give a negative star if I could. This app modifies phone settings including devise authentication. Once logged in it shows repeated push notifications from some random sites asking for authentication. Looks like a serious threat to digital security. Please stop floating such horrible and useless apps. Try enabling Synd epassbook app its much more user friendly .

You developers. This is how you treat your customers. Whenever we download this app it sends the message and then that's it. It won't even register or won't even give any login credentials. We are the customers of Syndicate bank they provided best service to us. Shame on you. Initially I thought it might be servor issue. So I ignored but it's not a single day it's a everyday problem. You either rectify or remove this app from playstore now itself...

Third class app. After click on register btn. It sent a verification sms to verify device. After getting verification code into sms box & returned to canpass app it refresh or load the page and it shows to register again by clicking on 'Register' btn. Worst app. Synd e passbook app was much better than this. Third class app.

Very bad app when compared with Syndicate passbook app. We have 15 accounts at Thane branch .. When u checked on revews of other customers for last 6 months everyone has given " Bad reviews" still when I started the app.. nothing progress and all problems are same as it is.... Canara IT cell has not bothered to rectify .. I think no-one is bothered .. who cares? Attitude. This is really shameful. Hope someone seniors looks into it and corrects and make all customers happy.

Canpass app ask for handset screen lock. Which will creates problems with some people who àre not familer. App should have its own locking system. and not interfere with handset setting. App should have it own settings. Even if after creating password or pin it t does not work on smoothly. U should see function of syndicate e passbook. Which suitable easy to operate. Such big Bank does not have good professional. Your customer care department perfect

Worst app. I was already registered and when I tried to login every time this app said my password is wrong. When tried to regenerate new password did not get OTP even after many days. I never expected this type of worst service in this digital era

No more OTPs while doing card transactions. When you make a purchase, enter card details, the canpass will show a notification of the payment, press pay, and it's done. I don't wait for otp anymore. Great app, awesome innovation... Kudos👍🏻

Y this app want device to be locked by pin or pattern . If app is secure with pin or pattern than its not at all needed and if we r nt doing that app doesn't work. N its nt showing transactions also . Synd e passbook was much better. Plz make it better

This App is not working at all. Shows only 2 options, txn history and offline OTP. Txn history shows blank, while offline OTP gets generated, valid for 10 minutes...

I download the app after migration in to Canara Bank but the app is not working and it never opened. The earlier Syndicate Bank mpassbook app was far better. It requires lot of modification. Finally I deleted the app as it is not working.

Very poor. On installation it is asking for "confirm pass word". How does one proceed without first feeding the pass word and confirming the same. This installation of the aap is not user friendly. A road block.

Worst App ever......couldn't even register my account,app just sending sms s (charging 1.2 rs each)but nothing happens after that.I have been a proud syndicate bank customer previously,and after merging with Canara,getting charged unknown service charges repeatedly (yesterday debited 240 and 144 as service charges).Syndicate bank e pass book was far better.
