There is no reason that an online banking app should be this bad. I don't have enough time to list out all of the problems but every time I log on to do anything, I end up quiting and waiting until I'm in front of my laptop. Even then, the online banking is not user friendly. I will soon be switching banks. We live in a day and time where online banking is a must and I need a reliable way to conduct my financial affairs online. This is not it.

Its bad enough they took away the old website which while not being "pretty" was very useful, and could you know, actually do math. This app and the new website are absolutely worthless, and are now glorified balance checkers. Which is hard to do when it even works, since no running balance, incorrect amounts, odd color code and no calculator to boot. I have to constantly keep calculating my actual balance on paper. Moronic. This bank has been nosediving this year, and im very close to just switching banks.

I get as far as entering my social, birth date and zip and it kicks me out. It says invalid username or password. I spent 30 minutes on hold, and another 20 minutes with a very patient CSR, just to be told I'll just have to try later. I need access to my account now. Who rolls out a useless app like this?! USELESS. Update: Finally got mine working. App does what it's advertised to do. The only problem is that I have to force stop the app to open it every time.

I have become heavily dependent on paying my bills through this app. The bill pay is a mess. It was set up so I could look at what I did last month and send the New payment which was convenient. Now, it will not even load my payees. Also, I got a new phone and am now completely locked out because my phone number will not load to send my codes. Very frustrating,

App is still terrible. Bill Pay: You can't search for a Payee to make a payment to. You can search for a Payee to "edit", but then you can't select it to make a payment to. Makes no sense. Mobile App: When taking deposit pictures, screen doesn't auto-rotate to the orientation you have your phone. If you enter the wrong amount to deposit, the app doesn't detect that it's a different amount than what's clearly on the check. It used to have ask "Are you sure? the amounts are different" or something to that effect. So bad.

Where do I start? The app is horrid as is the new full website. I relied heavily on the bill pay which is beyond horrible on the new design in that it's not intuitive to see your scheduled bills and to top it off, several of my scheduled payments where deleted causing a few to be late. Already switching over to Ally bank for my banking needs. Capital Bank US screwed up majorly. Just horrible.

I don't understand where the old app went wrong for them to come out with a completely new app?? I followed the directions and instructions on how to download and access the new app. When I open the new app it states, error please check connection to server, then it closes out. My internet connection is working properly and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new app over 5 times to see if it would finally work. Only to be let down once again and again.

At first I thought it was just me and now I see that I'm not alone. Don't bother calling customer support either they will just talk down at you like its your problem and not do anything about it. Nothing worked for a while at least now some of it halfway works. Crap like this is why I left my old bank....if you need help though call your local branch they can't do anything but at least they care more than the people on the support number

Worst app ever. Most of the time you can't get the app to open. Don't try to deposit a check by phone it won't go through. I guess I couldn't expect to much though. The branch where I live usually doesn't have an ATM that works either. I'm seriously considering switching to a different bank.

The only good thing about this app is that I can check my balance. Otherwise, I hate the graphics and the layout is so confusing. I could drive to the store and pay in person faster than use this app. I have been with this bank in all its incarnations since it was TIB. Life was so easy then. PLEASE return to your old layout, or provide a link to it.

It took 2 days to set this up. I want comfortable with the security questions to register. The password parameters are ridiculous. Upper case lower case special symbol number and blood of a unicorn all required. Now I am locked out of my account over the holiday because I couldn't remember the cryptic password the made me come up with. I love my bank but the online and mobile banking features are really making me consider switching

Since the "upgrade" to the app and the website, the app crashes and freezes my phone. If I'm lucky and the app freezes, I can clear it off, and report it as crashing. It's been a daily occurrence to report it as crashing. Please correct soon! No longer working. Easier to uninstall the app, and use data to check account.

You felt the need to update the aesthetic of your site and in doing so ruined usability. The money spent with the app developer would have been better utilized as fuel for a fire. Get a refund and pull this version.

The new app rolled out about 3-4 weeks ago and it is HORRIBLE. The previous app was great. This one is utter rubbish.

This upgrade is awful. It is supposed to be more advanced and give you more options than before, but now I cannot even transfer money between my two accounts. I keep getting an error message to contact my local branch for assistance. That defeats the purpose of mobile banking doesn't it?? I used to be able to transfer money all the time. What gives? Go back to the old version, or fix this one please!

Like a lot of folks I'm just not loving this app right now because it still lacks features that made the original app better than the upgrade! But it's getting there, at least the Bill Pay is working via the app again. I really like Capital Bank because they've given me better service than any of the big box banks I've used in the past. For that reason I'll give them the benefit of a doubt and allow them time to grow this app. I feel that it will one day be up to its potential!

The app doesn't read checks anymore, tempted to switch banks. As of 12/30/16 the app still doesn't deposit checks it used to. Ridiculous.

I couldn't even open it after downloading. It only showed me the welcome screen and never loaded an option to click or a number to type in, anything. Major disappointment. Already uninstalled. I have an Android that runs on Nougat.
