Food is awesome. App sucks. If you navigate away from the app for any reason, say, to answer the phone or exchange texts with others your placing an order for, any items in your cart will disappear. Super frustrating. The rest of the UX is okay. Not great, but usable. Of course, I'll still eat here. The salads and sandwiches are delicious. I just have to tap dance around this app until they work out the kinks.

The Capriotti's app used to work when scanning receipts for the rewards program, but it has not worked for over a year. I downloaded the latest version of the app, but it still doesn't work. Each time I try to open the app, I get a screen saying, "Bringing up your account..." but it does not bring up my account. Consequently I have missed out on scanning at least 6 or 7 receipts during the last year, so I lost out on rewards points. Today I had an additional problem at Capriotti's while ordering a sandwich in person. My previous receipt said I could get $3 off on my next order if I took their survey; so I took the survey. The clerk gave me a hard time because I didn't order online. I had to argue with the staff about my app not working. I showed them how the app wasn't working, and they had no idea how I could fix the problem. What a hassle!

The review is new but I've had this app for about 5 years now (give or take). The reward system used to involve a lot of incentives. Those were pulled back over time. However, $10 off if you spend $100 is pretty awesome still. The use of the app is good. Sometimes there are little glitches but no real issues for the most part.

Really terrible app. If you want to order from Capriotti's, do it through the website and save you some trouble. Good luck ever receiving your rewards if you don't order through the website. The app won't scan barcodes and interfaces really poorly. I tried to use my password manager with this app and ended up having to reset my password twice through no fault of the password manager. Don't download this. If you did and are reading this, uninstall it and go to the website.

Ordering ahead and skipping the line is great. The extremely limited drink and chip options available on the app are not. I had even made a note in the order to please not fill the drink cup as I did not want what was selected (only had 3 options). They filled it anyway and as to not be wasteful I kept the drink. Chips are obviously easy to swap, but pouring out an entire large soda to refill it with the desired flavor (that the app did not offer) is not. Probably won't be using this app.

It's great for placing a basic order in advance, but as long as i have been using this app, it has NEVER let me use the promos it offers me right in the app. It shows me the promos available and area if I want to apply it this order, them it asks me if I'm sure, then it says it's not valid with this order. I always get the combo upgrade offers with purchase of any sub, but they never work in the app. If this ever gets fixed I will give 5 stars.

The locations mark your order as completed but the prompt to rate the experience is there before you even get your food.. They let us order something that was out of stock but the location didn't call us even with the provided number, so they waited until we were there to tell us to pick something else which then took an additional 20 minutes of waiting... But the app itself should have a rate button on the order that you can click on, not just a pop up that goes away forever if you dismiss it

The app works well unless you are getting delivery. There is no way in the app to put instructions for the driver. Ve tried contacting the driver, but got no response from them. I've had 2 deliveries go astray because I could not give instructions, and have to call support to make sure my instructions are given.

It does not apply reward points like it should. I contacted Capriotti's support three times. The one time they replied they said to wait longer. It's been 7 days and still nothing. The app says to scan the barcode on the receipt as another option. The receipt does not have a barcode or number to enter. No rewards, no response, not impressed.

after they switched to the new app, my login broke. i didn't even remember using Facebook to authenticate, but if i did, i made sure not to give access to my data that is default checked. anyway I've been unable to access my account since and after no less than 3 support tickets, my problem remains unsolved. this terrible app loads slow anyway and it's a totally poor experience. it's so bad, it's cost Capriottis a customer. get it together, people.

This app is a tracking scam. I have written them about missing rewards and get no response other than an auto response here is 2 bux off a sub. My " free sub" after a zillion purchases has disapeared. I am completely unhappy with this app. Its obviously nothing more than a tracking scam. Being deleted from my phone DO NOT USE. I also am looking for a shop that is less expensive.

I've installed and Uninstaller the app 4 times. It won't let me get past the location. It's stuck there or something. Haven't been able to choose a store yet. Giving up I think. I've only been there once. Like the food but not the stress. Not worth the time.

This app would be fine if it didn't steal your rewards dollars. I've banked up reward dollars repeatedly. It gives an option to redeem them but every time I do it gives me a QR code and refuses to apply it. Then the rewards expire in an hour because they weren't used. Wasted 20.00 this way. Today I'm waiting for a sandwich because I wasn't going to get robbed again. Fix it.

The app took a bit to get used to during the ordering process. Once I figured it out it worked just fine. However I don't like the fact that it makes you pay through the app for pick up. There should be a pay at store option for pick up orders.

The last few times ive tried to scan the barcode my app isnt working.. Ive deleted it and installed it again and still nothing. I spent over 60 dollars on a meal for our whole family that was in town and lost all my rewards and couldnt scan for more... Im about to say forget you guys and just plan on going to jersey mikes.

I love this place and I love their Capastrami. I took my BFF there for her birthday since there weren't many places in my town that we could dine in during the pandemic. Before we left, she was already thinking she should get another Capastrami to go and she loved it so much that we were looking online to see if they had a restaurant in her State...thank goodness they did lol!

The store never gets the order from the app. You show up and they don't know what you're talking about. As if that's not enough, as long as this things installed on your phone it will annoy you with constant pop-ups. Can't find a way to stop them.

App won't let me continue after flashing a screen saying that my device is tampered with. Why is an app for a sandwich shop even checking my device in the first place? I'll do what I want with my phone, thanks. Remove the root check and I'll order from you again.

This app sucks, I reached 76 reward pts, and since then I have spent almost $80 it won't let me scan my receipts or enter manually. So no reward pts. Useless!

Wow! CAPs has the app game on point! Integrated deliver worked so well. Ordered a large Steak n Cheese. Received SMS updates. Delivery was fast. Sandwich was hot. I'm stoked! Nice job boyzzzz!

This was the worst experience I have ever had, I asked for a cheese steak , l,t, extra mayo, and got a dry cheese steak sandwich. I was very unhappy. I always go there and I found that today was not the day to go there. But I will not stop from going there, because I do love your your subs.

So I tried to install this, and on first run it said my phone has been tampered with so it won't run. I'm running a custom ROM, but more to the point, why the actual f*** is a sandwich app trying to fingerprint my phone? Arguably this app is malware.

I went to a franchise store twice spent about 60 dollars in those visits, tried to scan and add manually from my receipt and kept getting errors so thats points lost. I will just stop visiting your store.....

Trying to scan my receipt and something's broken with the app. Technical difficulties? That feeling you get when you only need 20 more points to hit 100, and your 20 dollar receipt won't scan... 😡

Overall this app works well. My complaint is that there is no way to leave notes for the delivery person in the actual app. You have to wait for the delivery person to accept the order to let them know anything.

Whenever I scan or enter receipt code manually there is an error message "oops! technical difficulties, try later." When I try later I get same message. Hasn't worked yet for my recent Bobbie purchase.

You can login with a complex password online, but not through their app. A company with an awesome product should care more about how this makes them look.
