I wish I could give a negative star rating. This product is absolute trash! The camera will not connect to the wifi. I was on the phone with customer support for an hour of trial and error, just to be told they were having issues with the app and that was the issue. So I waited two weeks to give it another go. Same exact results. please........ PLEASE, do not buy this ugly @$$ paper weight.

Needs updates bad. You can record and watch what's going on in your home but you cannot interact otherwise the app shuts itself off. Would be good with updates

constantly crashing freezing up audio is very choppy if you even get sound camera is 5 ft from motem and still can't keep a signal also it has a static in the sound always even in complete silence very dissapointed

BUYER BEWARE...stay away from this. Its so bad that I think the company is committing fraud. Its claims are far different from the truth. It wouldnt connect to the camera twice in a row. Glitches and bugs in every part of this app and its partnered camera. Easily the biggest waste of money this year. One could only hope that this is removed from the app store and its cameras are removed from store shelves because they have also given up on updates so dont expect any bug fixes with updates. They have stolen my money.

I bought 2 cameras. The cameras both say they have received pairing information but will not connect to the Wi-Fi. I have tried multiple devices same thing happens. I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. That doesn't work either. There is nothing wrong with my Wi-Fi either. So infuriating!!!

**If the pairing doesn't work, try another phone!** Wifi sound pairing did not work on my samsung phone. Worked great on my wife's iPhone 6. Now that the camera is on wifi I could use the QR code to connect my Samsung. After that it worked as expected. Developers need to fix the sound pairing so connecting works on every device, but they probably won't because this app hasn't been updated in 2 years.

This is the worst piece of trash I have ever wasted money on. I restarted the camera and there are pictures of a white crib and someone else's home I can't get it to view or record mine, this is scary the FCC needs to get involved.

The app does not work on my samsung s8. But it works on samsung tabs S. My advise, don't buy products from Sakar International. Or vivitar products. They don't work, if it does, it's poor quality. See their app ratings..

The first Capture Cam 2 that we received would connect (once we figured out we needed to enter the wi-fi password and NOT the camera's), but not to our Netgear router. It would ONLY connect to a Linksys. We believe the Linksys router was located too far from the camera for it to maintain the connection, and each time it would disconnect it was a MAJOR pain getting it to reconnect again. Unfortunately, over a 2 week period, it lost connection no less than 14 times! We returned the first one and received a warranty replacement yesterday. This one will not connect to ANY wi-fi router, using ANY of three different Android devices! I'm done wasting my time. This one will be returned for full credit and I'll start over. I promise I will NOT be purchasing another Vivitar camera.

Considering major retailers are still selling the home automation products in their stores and online, this app maker should keep the application updated. Very hard to connect devices without them properly connecting and staying connected.
