Car Buying

This app is a very important item in my toolbox; however, the app can sometimes be quite annoying. The issue I've had is that I will search for a particular vehicle -- like a 96 F350, and it won't let me put in any info. The screen will turn white as soon as I choose a crew cab body, and it won't load. But if I pick an extended cab body, then no issues. No other cars have this problem. Also, it usually reloads if I leave the site, even for just two minutes to look at Autotrader or Copart.

It only has the basic information listed all type of vehicles. One major ding or draw-back that I see is that it doesn't search by vehicle VIN. This feature would be nice to determine what type of epuipment or features a particular vehicle. Lastly, the only problem that I see is that this app doesn't work very well samsung Note Pro tablets. Screen doesn't rotate when looking at it in a horizontal position only vertical. Real Bummer!!

Terrible. Don't waste your time. It's slow, and buggy. I couldn't price a used car. After waiting literally 30 secs between year/make/model selections, I finally got to the page where I entered mileage and condition and as soon as I selected condition it started the year/make/model loop again. You're way better off using the mobile site.

It worked perfect until about a month ago when I upgraded my galaxy note 9 to the latest Android version 10. It stopped working completely. I wrote to the developers a few times but they don't seem to care since it's been over a month since my android update but no update to the app yet. It keeps crashing before it even opens.

The app is non-functional on some points. Radio button labels disappear and fail to reappear. I had to attempt to enter my vehicle's mileage six times, because it kept moving on before I could type four of the digits. Worst, I guess I misunderstood the app's purpose, as I needed it to assess my current vehicle's value, but all it did for me was estimate the value of a vehicle I might want to buy. It did not come close to meeting my expectations.

Can't get the app to even open. When I tap it it acts like it is going to open then goes right back to home screen. Does it everytime tried downloading several times and even restarting my phone. I don't know anymore maybe not compatible with an S10+ couldn't tell you. If I actually get to use this app I will rate it higher but until then not gonna raise my stars...

This app has been my go to for years and up until several months ago I would have given it 5 stars. Now it crashes on launch. I figured I'd wait until I went to a new phone and give the devs time to sort it out during all this COVID mess but here we are months later freshly installed on a new device with the same issue. It appears I'm not alone with no response to anybody from the developer staff. Luckily the website still works I guess.

The app obviously is broken. Searched for a car and noticed options kept disapearing as I picked them and once I got what I wanted all I got was a picture of the car without any additional info on value or other stats as to what is a good value. The app wasted precious 10 minites of my life and I rate it Junk! Come on guys you and smartphones have been out for a long time. I would,hope you would get this right by now ...

Android 10 and KBB doesn't jive together. It was working great, then got the new 10 software update and guessing this and other apps may not work well until they catch up to the latest. Overall, I like it, but can't use the app till then. Did send an email, but hadn't heard a response yet.

Really-REALLY poor search design... Maybe the worst I've ever seen. There's no way to perform a broad search based on common features like drivetrain, body style etc.. You can only pick 1 specific year + 1 specific make + 1 specific model at a time, which is WAY too pinpointed to be of any use... it's a bit mindboggling that such a reputable company would have an app designed this poorly.

Too specific if shopping.. you have to choose an exact year, make, model and features. Thats fine if you're looking for specific model year but most people want a much broader search ie. "show me all trucks in my area" then let us filter out from there. If you're trying to find your vehicle's value, this is the app you want.

Might be the worst app I've ever used. Would give zero stars if possible. You open it up, put in all your vehicles info, then it crashes! Never once have I gotten to the value of any vehicle, it just crashes or resets to the start page.

How did they screw this up so much? For the past few months, app continually crashes when I try to open it. Every. Single. Time. I have uninstalled and installed it multiple times and it keeps doing it. In this day and age where apps rule, it's unbelievable that it can be this bad. Kelly Blue Book is quickly becoming irrelevant.

UI is jacked up. When i price used cars and select condition, the text for those radio buttons disappear. I change my engine to the optional V6 but after i submit it and go to specs it says 4 cyl. Trying to price a 2012 Ford Fusion SE w/ v6 and i don't know if it's showing me the 4 or v6 prices. 2 stars because I'm feeling generous. I'll stick to the website i guess.

This app is terrible. After installation, I could not ever find a way to successfully open it. Every time I tried to open it I got a "This app keeps stopping" message back from my Android device. I've tried installing it multiple times on multiple devices and never was able to successfully open it. Worthless!

It would be a good app if only it worked. It continuously tells me that it isn't connected to the internet when every other app on my phone and KBB on Chrome is connected. I finally gave up on them fixing it, and I'm deleting it.

Don't waste your time or space on ur phone. I downloaded it to price out a used car because every time I hit "search" on their website, all I got was a "No File Found" message for my search results. And then I download this waste of space and again, I click on the "used" button and nothing happens.....it takes me to a screen with a forever spinning loading wheel. No results = garbage. Your whole team needs a rehaul if they allow your website AND app to be such massive failures. Hire new people!

Don't expect this app to be as useful as the full website. It has very basic functionality and feels clunky and outdated. If you absolutely need some info on a specific vehicle model (when at a dealership, for instance), it will work for that. I can't recommend for any other purpose.

Terrible app that keeps crashing even though I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and then reinstalled the app! When it does work, there is a tremendous amount of great research and information on just about every vehicle...
