Car Dashcam(LGD 5 Series)

This camera doesn't seem to be designed for Android. No problems on Apple, it connects without have to do anything other than connect to it through wifi. LG drop tge ball with this expensive complicated device.

As other reviewers mentioned, need to turn off data and turn on the WiFi to connect and works flawlessly after that. Some improvements needed tho.

At first everything was fine. After sometime didn't really go into the app but when need to. It always kick me out of the app. My rear cam did not record the incident. Please fit the app. I can't view the live cam front and back as it also kick me out of the app.

Horrible... at first it was working fine. Then with the update it doesn't work and I have the Note 9. Please fix this problem asap. what is the purpose of buy this camera and the wifi doesn't work. I have to take out the sim card and look thru my phone.

Latest version on modern phones forces one to first enable airplane mode, then turn on Wi-Fi, then start app to be able to connect to dashcam. A kludge, one expects more from LG

the voice prompt dosent work and there is no easy way to connect the phone to cam .firm ware fails to update . expensive product

Poor maintenance of this app. Has a lot of bugs. Looks like it's discontinued,dash cam blackbox company rips customers off with their expensive dash cams. NEVER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

i have never been able to connect my camera with my phone. i have never fekt so ripped off in my live.

Unable to connect to the dashcam ... tried resetting the device .. Same issue .. Fix it !!!

Latest update made things a lot better. To connect to Wi-Fi you have to activate GPS accurate mode. I was able to update the firmware and change the settings from my phone. App is still buggy but a lot better from the previous one. Developers should answer to our reviews from time to time. Also check the instructions from the LG web manual and everything should be fine.

It doesn't work. I connect to the wifi after turning it on dash cam, but the app just says "unable to connect to WLAN" after pressing the start button. I have to take out the microSD card and use the viewer on my computer to do anything.

Works OK, with room for improvement. Translations are a bit rough in some spots, but not a big deal. For those who can't get it working, try disabling your cellular data when connecting to the camera over WiFi. My oneplus 3T would fail over to the cellular data when it detected no internet on the WiFi that the camera broadcasts. After disabling cellular data, connection to the camera works well.

Connects but I get a "couldn't connect to black box" error and then disconnects. Have not been able to use at all on my nexus 6p.

It's good but Wi-Fi is difficult to connect.

Does not connect through app via WiFi....same dashcam connects with iPhone flawlessly... Tried on Pixel XL & Pixel 2 XL

Application freezes and crashes during use on s7 edge.

Won't ever buy a LG dashcam again. Software seems to be made by 4 year olds. It's clunky and doesn't work half of the time. Can't get my cam to update firmware. All around junk.
