At the start screen, you simply choose what you want to calculate: 1. Monthly Loan Payment if buying from a Dealer.2. Monthly Loan Payment if buying from an Individual.3. The Price of a Car/Truck/RV that you can afford based on the monthly payment of your choice.
Just enter the required information (e.g., price, interest rate, term of loan), plus any optional information (e.g., trade-in, sales tax rate, rebate, loan payoff, etc.), and then press the calculate button. The trade-In and down payment amounts are separated. This is essential for a good car payment calculator app.
3 main options are available to the user from the start screen:
1. Calculate a Monthly Loan Payment if buying from a Dealer. This option offers allows the user to input all items that a dealer finance manager would input into their system to calculate a monthly loan payment. User can enter: 1. Price of Car/Truck/RV (required) 2. Trade-In Value (optional) 3. Instant Cash Rebate (optional) 4. Down Payment (optional) 5. Dealer Fees (optional) 6. Miscellaneous
- extended warranty, dealer add-ons, etc. (optional) 7. Sales Tax Rate (optional) 8. Interest Rate (required) 9. Loan Payoff (optional) 10. Term of Loan in months (required) You can also select whether to apply sales tax to the trade-in and/or rebate. You may also choose whether to finance the total sales tax (i.e., include it in the loan). Our car payment calculator app gives you this choice.
The app then calculates the monthly loan payment of the car based on the information above. It will also display the total amount financed and the total sales tax.
2. Calculate a Monthly Loan Payment if buying from an Individual. This is the simplified version. User can enter: 1. Price of Car/Truck/RV (required) 2. Down Payment (optional) 3. Sales Tax Rate (optional)

The app then calculates the monthly loan payment of the car based on the information above.
3. Calculate the Affordable Purchase Price of a car based on the monthly loan payment interest rate, term of loan and any other optional information. User can enter: 1. Monthly Payment of Car/Truck/RV (required) 2. Trade-In Value (optional) 3. Down Payment (optional) 4. Dealer Fees (optional) 5. Miscellaneous
- extended warranty, dealer add-ons, etc. (optional) 6. Sales Tax Rate (optional) 7. Interest Rate (required) 8. Loan Payoff (optional) 9. Term of Loan in months (required)
You can also select whether to apply sales tax to the trade-in. You may also choose whether to finance the total sales tax (i.e., include it in the loan). Not all car payment calculator apps give you this choice.
The app then calculates the affordable purchase price of the car based on the information above. It will also display the total amount financed and the total sales tax.

This is a very useful, and cost free financial calculator. It basically eliminates the need to understand the math to calculate car payments. With this app It's very simple to quickly test different financial scenarios by adjusting the length of the loan, the initial deposit, the interest rate, total purchase price, or any trade in value that may be applied to the cost of the new purchase.
This program is quick and easy to use I have used it not just for myself but for my friends to and told them to get it. Great I like this app alot.
Awesome app! Plenty of fields for every situation. Very straight forward and to the point. Also very user friendly. The app does all the work, and very accurately. I cross checked it with other apps right down to the penney. Having a weekly option would be a big plus for me, but ofcourse, that would be up to the developer. I found the developer to be extremely conscientious, responsive and engaging to all of my questions or concerns. If that's not enough, he's just a really nice down to earth guy. This app gets 5 stars from me!
I give this only four stars because I have installed the free version and it doesn't have the advanced features. If you have the right information to enter, the calculator does a great job. It matches what my credit union gives me where interest is calculated daily as simple interest.

Quick easy to use and works. As of this review it also does not appear try to slam you with pop ups while you enter data into the fields, unlike some of the other applications available.

Legit app very helpful. Edit 8/3/2020 I was able to show up to multiple dealers with my payments set and look like a professional. So after searching for the model and trim package I wanted I worked out a deal I was happy with and there were no surprises(minus DMV fees AKA registration fees and dealer transfers fees) I bought a used car because of this app. So thank you.
Worked great. Less stress going in knowing what you can anticipate you will be paying for your purchase. Maybe add fields for the dealer and f&I office profit add- ons. How about a lease calculator? Leases may be a better deal with the chip shortage. Go learn the one and outs at joinyaa.

I did my home work before get in the Dealer and guess what? I knew the price of the car and asked by phone all dealer fees... put the numbers here and made the dealer match the number... worked perfectly... this means I knew, with this app help, my monthly payments before close the deal

UI is easy to use and understand. The calculation is accurate and the three models of calculation is wonderful. It's a must to download this app.
Great App, calculates car loan results in many useful ways. Has ads but still useful. A must have when buying a car.
App is great at giving quick snapshot info. Saving multiple scenarios and exporting requires upgrade, which is why only giving 4 stars
HUGE help to me with my car buying process. Definitely use this while you're at the dealership and negotiating numbers!!!! It helps ensure you don't get screwed with some funky numbers and deceptive language.
Great app. All your questions answered prior to gointbto a ca dealership or private purchase. It may be a little more or even less depending upon and on.

app gives me some good numbers to work with give me a breakdown of a monthly payments and approximately how much is going to principal and interest versus good to know as you make payments over time overall pretty good

You definitely want actually NEED this app if you are going to keep a slimey car salesperson/dealer on their toes. It has all the inputs you need (tax, "dealer" addon lines etc.) Other calculators seem to miss all the "extras" in car loan math - this one does not!
