Car Maintenance Reminder Pro
For the fuel logging function, the application automatically generates useful statistics about MPG, gas price, driving distance per day, volume per fill up, cost per day etc. It also provides TEN graphical charts (2.0.1 and up) for detailed and clear reports of your car’s mileage, fuel economy, costs etc.
For the maintenance reminder function, the application provides comprehensive logging and reminders for almost all regular car services based on both mileage and dates, such as oil change, tire rotation, wheel alignment, air filter change, coolant flush, transmission fluid change, brake pad change, timing belt replacement, annual inspection and spark plug replacement. Even more, you can create your own customized service reminders, log costs, and write notes about your cars, such as part number, state registration, appointment time, mechanic shop phone number etc. With just a glance at your phone, you will have all the service records at hand! Notifications at status bar will automatically show up to remind you when a service is due within a week, or 200 miles, so that you will never miss a needed maintenance.
You can manage multiple cars in the application (Pro only), export data to external SD card and restore the saved data. You can also create a CSV report containing all service reminders, full maintenance history and gas fill up records. The app can also email the CSV to your E-mail so that you can open the report from your computer using Excel!
We made the application very flexible to suite all kinds of needs: You can use the app for your cars, or your motorcycles; Multiple units are supported (km/mi, US gal/UK gal/liter); You can choose your own currency symbol or date format; You can arrange the order of maintenance depending on their importance, customize the application to only show information you care about, and choose reminders you want to get; You can also customize the frequency of reminders showing in the status bar.

This is a great application and very well planned, it has everything that you will ever want from an app like this. The interface is well planned and can give you all the usuful information with no hushle. The only reason why I rate it with only 2 stars is because on Android 8.1 the graphs are not working anymore, and it is a great feauture to have as other similar apps don't even offer things like that. Once the developers update this issue I will update my review.
Works great for me. And it worked great for my wife and me. However, as my kids get older and more independent, I really wish there was a way to share our data. For example, they could input when they got their oil changed, then I'd know when to start bugging them to do it again. As-is, all this data had to be put in and only lives in, MY phone. So my wife has to come ask me when the last time she changed her air filter, etc. Just wishful thinking. Still a great app though.
I have been using this app for years now, but disappointed in the developer. I recently changed to a new phone and I cannot get the DB moved over to the new phone. I've tried everything I can to get it backed up to SD card and can't find it, backup to cloud and can't find it, two emails to the developer, no response. To say the least, I am a little disappointed. The only thing that saved me, was the ability to download the .csv file with all my data. I updated the new phone with the latest data from the file, but it would have been better if I could have moved all my data to my new phone.
It isn't the prettiest app out there, but it does what is advertised to be. I've used this app for many years and I paid for the pro update to manage the data for the vehicles I own. I was surprised a new update just came out the other day, so I did my manual backups and upgraded. It looks and feels the same but a lot smoother. Great job!
This app is a good app unless you have to transfer it too another phone, I've tried this two different times now and doesn't work. So if you're phone goes south you lose everything. The app moves fine but all your information doesn't. I'd give it a 5 star if that worked but it's useless without it. Now I'm stuck trying to find another app that I like as well. I like the layout of this one better then other apps but tired of losing my history when I have to transfer to another phone.
The app work great until I went to pro I paid for it and then shortly after I've had this app for I'd say three phones and probably 10 years and every time I had to manually input and transfer data there's no assistance no one gets back to you I emailed them and I didn't get a reply you rely on your car maintenance app for but it's supposed to do don't at some point you will lose it all.
The rating could be a 5 if there was better way and more ways to understand the backup and retrieval of data. Changed phone and some glich and the app does not see my backedup data. I had pro version i think that carried to the new phone but 8 have placed that file and i cannot locate it within the app.
I installed the free Lite version and really liked it, so I wanted to add my other cars which requires the paid for Pro version. I backed up my 1st car, installed Pro & attempted to restore the data for my car from the backup. Tried many different ways but no luck. Developer contact went unanswered. So I would consider this un-supported. Google Play wont refund my money. So if you have more than 1 car, save you dollars and stay away from the paid for Pro version.
I cannot recommend this app. It seems very nice once, but the graphing features don't work at all on Android 9. The app seems to be abandonware since there haven't been any updates in years. The website listed here is definitely NSFW. Just go look elsewhere.
Backup feature is trash. What's the point of keeping records if you have to manually enter them from a CSV file after you upgrade your phone, or if you wipe your current phone clean. This app fails in spectacular ways. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TRASH.
Yup, just like all the rest say, great app until you lose all your data. Cloud backup is non-existent, transferring from one phone to another also a nightmare. Lost years of data on three vehicles simply because I upgraded a phone
@devs, I paid for the pro version 5 years ago. I've been using the pro version ever since. For the current version, I can't restore to my new phone anymore, unlike 2 years ago. I lost 5 years historical data on 2 vehicles. I'm so disaapointed.
This is a great app but it is hard to export/import your info to a different phone. You have to find the file, make the exact folder on your new phone, and move the file in to the new folder.
Cloud backup has never worked and now I can't change the manual backup folders. I'm also unable to access the backup file (maybe requires root?) since I can't modify the manual backup files. Changing the backup folders used to work...
Have used this app for years but cannot find the exported backup file either on internal or on SD card so cannot move data to a new phone. Extremely disappointed. The developer seems to have disappeared. Is this an orphaned app?
Works generally fine. However I was unable to restore my backup when I got a new phone. Got a message every few days that said "cloud backup successful" but lost years worth of data. Bummed.
WAS a great paid app. Now, not so much. Unable to change directory where the database is stored, so lost all records when changing to a new phone
Does what it says. I like the pre-loaded items and notifications. Been using it for many years. I don't understand why it's not eligible for family library because I bought it before 2016, disappointing. Long time user and not appreciated for that.
Back up import is terrible = 0 stars No ads showing with pro= 5 stars I changed phone twice in 6 years and lost all my data when switching, never been able to import my backups.
The app is easy to use.. The problems appear when I bouht a new mobile.. I couldn't move the data to the new mobile.
Great app. Been using this for years, just went pro. So I can add multiple vehicles and I'm picky when it comes to maintaining them. This is a great way to remind you of whats due and being able to customize your own reminders at intervals is awesome along with notes to keep fluid types and torque specs etc. so i don't have to thumb through the books. I keep it all on here and back everything up.
