I've had this app for at least 5 years and it's been really great, I hope they have updates for this new phone
This app is a safety hazzard. Absolutely do not use this app unless you're alone with alot of space.
Innacurrate times. Not even within 3 seconds...its terrible.
Exactly what a curious automobile owner can use
This app only works as good as the GPS on your device. I've gone through a lot of custom roms and have done a lot of testing with GPS and I know that getting good GPS reception is hit and miss especially with stock roms (I guarantee 90% of the commenters are running stock). This app works great, but most commenters don't know what they're doing
The only thing this is useful for is the 0-100 speed test, but it doesn't get a gps fix despite 17 sats in reach. The normal speedometer works fine, only the timing one keeps telling me "you must be at a standstill" while I am (your speedometer even confirms it) alternating with "n sats in reach, 0 fixed".
This thing can't even keep up wit my modded grand am gt. I was at 60mph and it said I was doing 25mph. I don't see how it can keep up with Zondas, Veyrons, or even GTis that I've seen in other comments. People should get a friend with a stop watch to time their 0-60s
To be able to start the test, the vehicle must be at a complete stop. But the problem is that the vehicle's complete stop position could also be misread by the app and/or GPS satellites. There is a compensation feature within the app, but I don't know if it really improves on anything.
I have enough intelligence to know that it's not going to be accurate (unlike others here), it's for comparing runs between mods and adjustments out with other cars. It worked on my Droid a few times but now barely works...I think it has issues working with the gps. Also says to standstill when I am. Fix these issues with the Droid and it'll be great.
I also get "must be at s standstill" even when sitting on a pile of paving slabs. Did get 1 measured time but Measured the same time for 0-60 as 330' but had me at 67mph at the 330' ! (same run)
It used to work back when I had an LG ally, now it won't with the thunderbolt... Tells me to stop moving at a stand still and speedo reads nothing
I think the people who like this app drive slow cars and know it, but it says they're faster than are so they give it the thumbs up, the best 0-90mph run I've done was 7.34 sec. This app said my 0-20 was 8.54, and my 0-60 was also 8.54, on the same run, that's amazing huh? Gained 40 mph without a hundredth of a second passing. Wow
App doesn't work. Turn it on and start moving dvds it will just go back to it's main screen, bs.
Great idea but even with the GPS sensitivity at max it was constantly off by more than 2 seconds. Samsung galaxy s2.
Bad accuracy. Always says "you must stay still" for timed mode. I even wait 1 minute stopped but nothing changes.
355bhp and I managed 0-60 in 8.5 seconds useless. Was a sunny day and I had about 15 satellites locked and set to high res. Needs some work before charging people for it.
0-60 times were consistent with stopwatch times to within 0.1 s over 3 runs had issues with this app in past but seems much better now HTC one m8.
Not even worth trying. My 12 second Grand National is running a 18 per this app... lol. What a joke
Worked once. Now it just says 'must be at standstill', even though i have stopped and been still for a while.
Really a good app, it will show the correct speedometer result ,but we have to change mile/hr to km/hr.
Works 99% of the time, does have some lag but that's to be expected. Not bad
Does what it says on the tin when a good enough signal available, I'm happy considering its free
Would love to test this but I ride a motorcycle, so it starts counting as soon as I move phone to place in pocket. Needs a timer added after you click start.
This app works well as a speedo, but has problem with gps on timed run. It keeps on displaying 'you must be standstill', even when i'm not moving.
Great - exactly as I wanted. My 1967 car is about to get a custom exhaust so we will see what difference it makes.
