Steep learning curve but once I figured out how to use it, I've found it a remarkable OBD app. Used with Obdlink LX and MX+. If plotting multiple sensor data, the graph looks congested at first, but you can actually separate each trace, raise or lower them, magnify a region - in time or value axis. It allowed me to discern sluggish behavior on an upstream lambda O2 sensor before the ecu threshold to set a flag (CEL). It's as useful as Eobd Facile and much cheaper ($3).
Just started using CarBit and find it useful. The tasks I do the most often is: connect Bluetooth, load faults, clear faults. Would it be possible to make these steps a widget, only requiring one click from a widget icon to do all three? Haven’t seen this feature anywhere and think it would be useful in your product!
before you refund me, try to fix it. The app at least looks good. It has what i need. Just doesn't work correctly. Yet. Still, It reads only three items. My elevation by gps. My speed. And onboard voltage. I want to read the graph. There's no data. I wan't to see faults, naturally no data. The chart should populate once i turn my vehicle off. Why isn't the app working. I paid for no ads. I'm not getting a good quality product . . This is not as advertised
3 STARS TO THE DEVELOPERS for answering questions fast. The App Looks nice, and the first app that shows my car(Ssangyong) . Bought the pro version, used the OBDLINK MX bluetooth, does not connect.. probably the version is not compatible. Used the wifi ELM 327, it connects via wifi, but the only read out I get is the speed on the gps👎.... PS the support from the developers is good... I wrote to them and their response was quick 👍👍
Thank you. Very nice layout with option to view in 'landscape' or 'portrait'. I have installed this and another OBD app on a 'phone and tablet, and run them both at the same time, (i.e. this on one device the other app on the other device.
It's the only app that would read codes on my Land Rover Discovery 3. It's also cheap to unlock the good stuff. Connects quickly. Does what it needs to do without all the fluff and does it well. Thanks
My car has a problem with ABS/ESP pump motor. CarBit connected to my obd2 bluetooth and after full scan, no error found!! Really?!! The only correct info it gave me is engine temperature and the rpm! Which I don't need because I can see it on my car's dashboard!
Super Awesome app that really works and gives true time real live data. Extremely easy to connect to your ecu via your obd scan tool and everything's customizable to your liking even has options for multiple vehicle profiles and presets within each one.
Paid for the pro version and immediately got a refund. Constantly disconnects from my reader and takes forever to connect. Can't get any readings. Spelling errors all over the app. Garbage. Dont waste your time or money.
I have been trying for 3 days to get my nonda FREE interface device to pair up with a decent app that actually works AND gets me everything I need for free. We will see if it lasts but I found it one. THANK YOU & and congratulations on a job VERY well done. Now I'm going to go check out all the cool stuff on this awesome app.
Needs more bmw support. My 1997 328 shows lots of data, however most of the pids are not supported.and there is a long delay compared to torque. Though this app os much cleaner. Albeit less customizable
Specifically bought the app to reset cvt oil degration on the mitsubishi outlander. It's not working. Update as of July 2020, cvt oil reset still no go. Second time sending log to developer, hopefully it fixes the issue for good this time. Second time is the charm, cvt reset works for outlander sport/asx. Kudos to the developer.
Can't get any better! Please make the KWP/SAGEM2000 PIDs available for Peugeot as well... Also, there are two more PIDs supported by the Sagem 2000 ECU that I have not found in the app: oil temp and fan speed. FAPlite has them, but unfortunately I don't know their addresses to add them in your app.
Has a lot of options per vehicle alot to navigate through though finding the right combination of protocol and commands
Perfect, this app has big potential, it has intuitive interface together with beautiful and interactive graphical visualisation with all options I need.. Thank you.
i'm liking it so far but have one question.. the free version on the graphics you don't have the option to see what the values are, you know what the graphic represents but not the nominal value at some point in time, does the paid version have that?
it has a easy interface to choose your car from a very complete list and an even more complete list of protocols. Brilliant.
The shizniz. Great clean interface with PIDs for almost all vehicles. Comes loaded with all standard sensor data. You can add extra PIDs for specialized sensors if you know the ID.
This apps is good for me since it is free of charge and can reset my airbag fault alarm. Been searching for an apps like this for a while and now i think it is worth spending time looking for it.
Good for basic information too, but how can i detect turn signals light status, low beam light (dipped light), brake, belt of security, open door, position lights, high beam lights ...? Which library use in android? Thanks.
Awesome app, this thing work with my subaru exiga GT, it also can display what gear is...torque and dash command can connect to my ecu but can't read anything. To developer of this app please make a bigget display for each parameter instead of graphic chart. Currently using this app on my android had unit
Easy to connect (uses the app not the phone), easy to use, shows more info than I was looking for or knew was available.
One of the most resource apps I've used in a long time very user friendly accurate and easy to read data overall I wish they had a pro version so I could do more thank you guys
pretty cool, but so much needs to be unlocked and i have no idea how to add. beyond that really cool idea! i just need a little training on it.
it looks interesting, but doesn't work with peugeot ion. couldn't bother to look for a connection string online.
App is fully functional but kindly add coding for gauge representation for Hud Display. It will be a great improvement.
So far so good altho I can not get it to read my chk eug light when other apps do it rather quickly and accurately I'm sure this will be accurate just haven't been Able to figure it out 5 stars when that's a go.
One of the best I've found so far for viewing obd data. Can even see the AT commands and responses in realtime. Add/remove/rearrange sensors in the list. It's fast, go from off to viewing live data in a few seconds. Make separate profiles for multiple vehicles. Price for pro is low and totally worth it. I like it. Well done dev!
