It would not connect to a Galaxy 8+, exchanged it for another one and it connected without issue, so bad hardware first time around. 2nd unit works great with no complaints.
Everything has been great! I do, however, need a new probe. I use it alot outside in my covered grill. I live in a humid environment and also it rained a lot recently, causing my probe to get corroded.
App is pretty good, hence 4 stars. The thermometer, on the other hand is NOT supported by its manufacturer. Don't bother contacting them - they NEVER respond.
First use stopped worked half way through cooking. App will no longer allow me to select anything and no.longer reads temps
Does not work on either my android or Apple phones. Connects but no reading

Has a bug whereas the alarm goes off when the oven temp reaches the finished temp.
Just got my new Carbon Lite thermometer and installed the app on my phone. The app will not pair with the thermometer even though my phone sees it. This shouldn't happen on a new high end phone (Nexus 6P). The thermometer is useless without the app.
Wouldn't connect with a galaxy s8, everything it said needed to be on was on it just wouldn't connect.
App has bugs, estimated time till done is many hours off.
If you move out of range of the sensor the app will disconnect, which is expected. However moving back into range the app will never connect to the sensor again unless you pull the batteries out of the sensor. This loses ALL historical information of the cook. Unless this is fixed the system is essentially useless
