I hate tech, and it's so easy I can do it. Had one glitch. System wanted 7 digit for something and I only had 6, so I faked it with a zero in front, same number, proceeded with a "0". I've been using it now for 3-4 months. Scary at first, but it was just me. I absolutely love it. Self explanatory, intuitive and understandable. Like I said so easy even I can do it. That's saying something.

I downloaded this silly app from the Google Play Store and attempted to open it. The app told me that I could not run it without upgrading it. I hit the button to upgrade which sent me back to the play store where the only option I had was to open it. They are not helping their business with this dysfunctional app. Well done Synchrony.

I agree with the post flagged as most critical. it is my exact experience. I cannot Log in, app crashes, and this app went from being IMMENSELY useful TO WORTHLESS. Fix please for those of us who have the latest tech on their phones because we want to use this app. However there are to many other Credit card apps and cards of this sort whose apps do work...I'm close to just waving Synchrony care care bye bye. We Live in Digital world guys with readerless paying and so on.

I have used this app for about a year and a half with no problems. Now this month I can't log in. It keeps telling me that I need to use a desktop and verify my info before trying to use the mobile app again. Did that but app still doesn't work. Called customer support, they were NOT helpful at all. I ended up just telling them to forget it and hung up. i have deleted this app and found another synchrony app that works just fine.

The app just has stopped working. Everytime I try to log in, it just tells me my user name or password is wrong. I know it is right because I go to the web browser to login and it works just fine. I've uninstalled several times and changed my password and still nothing. Its pretty inconvenient to have to go the long way around to pay my bill because your app is a garbage, broken app.

I opened the app to pay my car care account bill and it said I had to update the app. Clicked update, it ran the said it was done installing. Clicked the Open app button and it comes up with the need to upgrade button again. I'm unable to access my account because it won't let me get to the login page. I have a Google Pixel 2 phone I am using the app on. This is the first time I've had trouble with it.

Simple to use, easy interface. Has the necessary features to manage your available funds. I've no problems with this company or its app to do what's needed. Yes! I'm a real customer. I use this account primarily to repair/maintain my vehicle only, so that I spread out my spending, rather than stressing over standard of my living situation and having to spend to keep my vehicle running.

In order to even launch the app, you are FORCED to enable push notifications. No method of declining, ability to skip past the sceeen, or choice of opting out. Sure, once I acquiesce to the strongman act I can go to the app settings and disable but that I even have to do this + the ham fisted approach is just flat out unappealing and unnecessary.

I have had this app for a year and I'm NEVER able to log into it. It always directs me to the desktop website where I have to constantly reset my password. The latest issue is that it can't find my account on the website even after providing very sensitive information. Paying your bill with this company is like getting a triple root canal on Christmas morning. You'd rather be doing ANYTHING else, and not just because you're letting go of some money.

The app worked perfectly until ('m assuming) its most recent update. It tells me I need to update the app. OK, so hit the upgrade button thinking maybe they made a different app. The upgrade button takes me back to this app, which is already up to date. No idea yet when or how this will be fixed.

Your balance on your account can be seen im. this app which makes it helpful. However, making payments on this app can be difficult and has resulted in several bounced payments in my experience. Save yourself from the trouble and make your payments through your actual bank account and not through this app!

Tried to use to find a new service center since we moved. The maps and such are so sensitive it's virtually useless except to see the area and number involved. When trying the '2 fingers ' method as shown on screen, as soon as you let off the screen it reverts.

Besides the app providing all the information I need and places to use my card, this is the most useful credit card I have ever had. I have a safety net for anything that goes wrong with my car in case I can't pay out of pocket. Interest rates are high, but all credit card companies take advantage of that so I can't complain since it's not just this company imposing such a high rate. I am just happy I could get repairs done that were imperative to drive my car.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've had this app for almost a year, and it had worked fine until August. Now I can't sign in unless I use the website. I've tried uninstalling and changing all the information needed on the website, but still nothing works. Don't bother with this app. It's useless. There's no actual use for an app that doesn't work. Save your time and device storage. Do not download this.

I have to change my password everytime I try to log in, and the actual app shows up blank in areas where numbers/choices should be. Very glitchy and not user friendly for mobile. Just go through the website, it's less of a headache.

This app was great at first, but then I had to reset my password about every other time because it NEVER matched their records. NOW, it's telling me I have to update, but there isn't one available. It has me basically blocked out because I can't update.

I initially gave this app 5 stars but I'm changing my rating because since this last update I have been unable to log into my account via the app. It was so easy to log in, see my balance, set up a payment, see where I can use my card...now I'm getting an authentication error. PLEASE FIX!!!!! Issue fixed...giving the app ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ again!

Precisely what a mobile app should be in my opinion. Very clean, straightforward and easy to use. I've had no issues with it, but I do wish that they would update our accounts "In Real Time" just like American Express does right after we make a payment. 👍💳

Recieving an upgrade request when launching the app that does not allow me to do so on my note 9. It brings me to the play store and there is no newer build present with the store options. This includes attempting a workaround by uninstalling and reinstalling the build in hopes of pulling the current version number. Please fix.

Only app that won't let me reset my password unless I have the the account number. In order to get that account number you have to put up with the most obnoxious automated voice system for 10 minutes before you can get to be put on hold for a representative. Horrible experience

Easy to use. Straight forward. Just wish when you opened the app it was opened in your account, instead you have to navigate over to your account to view it, other than that no complaints.

Almost as crappy as their automated system. Their covid 19 message is large enough it blocks the area where the userbame is supposed to be typed in. Additionally, every choice square from payment amount to what account you wish to pay from is blank and you have to keep tapping until you find the correct option.

The app is useless. You can never log in because passwords are not recognized. I've called about the issue numerous times and am just told to use the website instead. Well, how about fix the app or get rid of it. Dont claim to offer a convenient service to your customers when you're not actually doing so. Considering cancelling my account with them all together since they obviously dont care about their customers.

This app was working great after the last update I get a message it's time to upgrade the app. It does not work no more. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I get the same message. I hope they fix whatever is wrong with this app.
