Card Golf
The object is for players to reduce the value of the cards in front of them by either swapping them for lesser value cards or by pairing them up in columns with cards of equal rank and trying to get the lowest score. The highest score loses the game and the lowest score wins the game. A total of 9 rounds are played.
Beginning at dealer's left, players take turns drawing single cards from either the stock or discard piles. The drawn card may either be swapped for one of that player's 6 cards, or discarded. If the card is swapped for one of the face down cards, the card swapped in remains face up. If the card drawn is discarded, the players turn is passed. The round ends when all of a player's cards are face-up.
Game is nine "holes" (rounds), and the player with the lowest total score is declared winner.

Love this card game! You can watch one 30 second ad at the beginning of the game instead of watching shorter ones after each round. My disappointment in this app is that there aren't levels of difficulty. The comps are way too easy to beat, they pass up on low cards and trade low cards for higher ones smh. DOH! I've literally never lost one game on here.
The rules aren't explained very well and the points system doesn't really make sense. Seems to just make a score and some times it makes you switch the card regardless if that's what you want to do.. and aren't you supposed to be able to flip a card essentially "missing" a turn ??
You need to update the app so that you can view the whole screen on your phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and I can't see the edges of the screen or the scores at the end of the game and there is no way to start a new game without fully closing the app and opening it back up again.
This game brought back good memories. it would be great if this was programmed with variations and difficulty settings, the computers are way to easy to beat, and sadly they make decisious that make you smack your head lol
It works but plays upside down on my tablet. The AI is not very good. I have probably played 100+ games and have never lost. I'm not that good of a player, I don't think it's possible to lose the way it is currently programmed.
Pretty good game. Definitely a little too easy, though. If the ads are bothering you, just watch the 1, 30 second ad at the beginning and you'll bypass the ad after every round.
The computer opponents are terrible. No one (hardly) ever goes out with 15 points on the table. I was so excited to finally find my favorite card game in thr Play Store, but was a disappointment.
When the round is ending, and the deck needs to be turned, the game stalls. Happening often.
Love the game Card Golf. Would be nice to be able to play the different variations of card golf like 4 card golf or 9 card golf and playing with 2's as -2 with no jokers. Also would be nice to adjust difficulty and fufu changing background image or card back image. Maybe you could play to unlock them or pay. Honestly I'm just happy there is a card golf game I can play on my phone! Thank you
Needs option to adjust skill level. Needs less ads or option to pay one time for no ads. Needs option to save game and come back. Needs other bug fixes
Don't mind the size...just can't stand that I have to shutdown the app after each round because I don't have a back button on my pixel.
Good gameplay but AI could do with an upgrade or some difficulty levels. Have to be half brain dead to lose 😝
the game is fun. But it'd be nice to have the option to flip your card without taking the top card or the discard. game will not play it all now I can't even unstall and install a game it will not work for me
I grew up playing this game with my grandparents. I am glad there is an app for me to play. However I do agree with other reviews I read, that the computer players should be better at the game and more difficult to beat.
It's the only golf app available which makes it good by default. Wish the ai was a bit more challenging.
30 second add between each hand is horrible. AI difficulty is too easy, they constantly pass on jokers makes no sense.
AI is way too dumb. Need to have difficult settings and options. Cards are really small.
Difficult to see tiny cards. Can't distinguish between king, queen, and jack. NOW, they just changed it to force a 30sec commercial between every single hand.
All ads start with sound even with app set to mute. I should not have to put my phone on silent just to play a game.

The boys do not really play. They will go out with a high number. Very frustrating!
Fun game, but I would give it a much higher rating if the following were fixed: 1) Everytime I switch apps I have to restart the game from the beginning, including waiting through the ads 2) the AI players are annoyingly stupid 3) no multiplayer option, not even pass and play 4) needs options in the rules, like the player who ends the round should get an extra 10 points if they don't have the lowest score. I'd be willing to pay for an ad-free version that fixed the first two issues.
