I use this app with a Wahoo Tickr strap. Had bit of trial and error to get it communicating at first (got it going on ANT). Now it's set up just latches on no problem. App is simple to use in default mode, gives exactly what I need: heart rate, high, low, avg, % time in zone. All presented in digits and a clear graphics. Now set up my own custom zones. It works very well. Improvement I'd like is % time in target to be displayed on workout record. Great app due to its no-frills practicality!
Excellent. Connects my inexpensive generic ble strap to Samsung S3, quickly and reliably. Fast response to heartrate, very rarely stalls and never for more than a few seconds. Easy to customise target zones, very clear display of heartrate, %, calorie count and time. Easy export of csv data anywhere desired. Ads so far are non-existent, so gladly contributed to development. Developer quickly responded to a problem with Android 10, and updated app within days.
The app does just what I need without any confusing extras. It sometimes takes a while and several attempts to find the HRM, but it works in the end and then it's fine. I like the facility to export data to Excel. I'm finding it really good for controlling HR while running.
Update: Problem solved. Home page / Start / "Init Zone" needs to be changed from the default of Free to Target. Now the voice also tells me when I enter or leave my target heart rate. It's a brilliant app. At least 5 stars. Thanks again. It's very good in all respects except that the voice doesn't state the change of zone despite being enabled. Coupled with my Whippet HRM belt, it says my bpm every minute, so I'm working with that. Thank you for a great app.
App function and interface great. No instructions on how to use the app; so unable to use, cannot "-Record all your exercises. -Export to cvs (excel)". Emailed cardiotraining.es without response, support therefore poor. When instructions added five star app. Update, to record a work out, a work out time must be specified. When the time has passed the app requests to save or discard. Save to keep the record.
Thank you Developers, this is exactly what I needed for my training. I love hearing the audio feedback (time, bpm, cal) instead of looking at a smartwatch. It also helps me keep the correct bpm. Perfect!
Simple to use with my rowing machine workouts. Accuracy matches my Concept 2 readings with a cheapo chest strap. Workouts easily saved to the cloud and readable in excel. Only gripe is the display during workout which doesn't show the heart rates for different zones, only percentages, but overall a great app.
Would be perfect for my use case, but it's very buggy on pixel 2. Pressing pause or stop on the workout does nothing. The only way to get a workout to end is to cancel which doesn't save history or stop the app and go back.
Can't see the details if I take my glasses off. Sound on app turns down the sound on Bluetooth speaker whenever it says anything. It's a real pain to connect my Wahoo HRM even though no othe app has a problem. This app is all I really need, but it is sooo annoying.
Love the app. For the most part it is easy to connect my Polar H10 chest strap. Love the fact that I can send the data as .csv file. The target heart rate zones are just what I was looking for. It tells you through a female voice the heart rate and when a zone is entered. I can set the zone. I am using for biofeedback in meditation practice.
Latest patch disabled audio notifications during workout, it's completely silent now and can't figure out how to get audio back. I only got this app to have voice notifications for my heart rate zones while running.
It does exactly what I need it to do, it does it well and it is not trying to be more then that. I can set my target heart zones as I want them, and during a run it tells me if I am above or below my target heart zone. No need to look at the phone or a watch.
It works with a Garmin Heart Rate band using Ant+ and with a Polar using Bluetooth. The interface is clean, simple and clear. Just what I was looking for. Thanks.
Extremely simple app, doesn't try to overload you with nonsense. Does what it needs to and gets out of the way. Note: you need to set your resting heart rate to 0 if you want the zones you define based on % of max heart rate to work correctly.
It would not connect to my Rhythm+ heart rate device. It's strange, however that it registered it was there. It's a shame because the layout of this app looks really nice.
Works with garmin strap. This is a fantastic app. It does what it is supposed to do and does it reliably. The voice announcements every minute are great when I'm on my bike.
This app allows you to set your own heart rate zones and set the max heart rate. It is raw but with all the features needed and can be customised. Use it during most of my running training and it tells me if im out off the training zone.
Only app I have found I can properly set up my interval training (based on hr) with good voice assistant. Seems to work fine in the background too and works good with H10
This is, bar none, the best zone training app there is. Simple, free, clear, programmable. Thankyou so much for creating this. The one thing that would take it to 5 stars for me would be if I could choose my own sound file for the audio entering / exiting zone alerts. In fact I would pay for this feature.
