It worked fine at first, but with the update no longer allowing the use of a pin number to log in, I can no longer get in to actually manage my cards. Trying to use the forgot password feature doesn't work because it never actually sends an email. And what is the point of a contact feature that you can't use if you're not logged in when your issue is that you can't log in to begin with? Honestly quite frustrating.

It's great that you can disable your credit card instantly. But I'm getting rid of this app and the Westerra credit card because the alert system is terrible. The alert system does not send an alert via SMS or email. It shows a little pop-up on your phone which you see if you happen to have your phone in your hand, then it goes away. On my Pixel 2 notifications also show up above if I swipe down from the top of the home screen. In the Messages section of the Cardnav app I can see that the alerts went out for 2 fraudulent charges over $1800, but I never saw them. Had the alerts come as a text message I might have been able to stop the first one and most certainly would have prevented the second. I only knew about the second one because Visa called to ask me about potential fraud behavior. I'm still waiting to see if the charges are reversed.

I can not log back into the app. I keep getting the message "Invalid request". I created the account. I set up my preferences. I get the notifications when I use my debit card. However, IT WILL NOT LET MY LOG BACK IN. I can no longer do any additional functions. This is not a misspelled password error because if I intentionally type in a wrong password it tell me as much. There is no app help or any way to get app help on the CO-OP Financial Services website either. That is poor on their part as well.

I've used this app to protect our CU debit cards for several years and it's great. Our cards have had 3 attempts of fraudulent use over that time, and each time they failed. The card has numerous ways to set how and when it can be used. Those options when set make your card impossible to access or use by anyone else when they are in applied. It's free and even if there were usage fees it would pay for itself.

I tried to re-register my cards again, but it states I can't add them because it is from a different financial institution which is absurd. I've used this app before and I'm a CO-OP/Shared branching financial institution Credit Union customer. I can't even change my password. Just like what others are saying, this app is useless. Also concerning as this app has not had an update since 2020. An app that have access to your financial info should be constantly updated for security purposes.

Had to get a new card after suspicious attempts on my account (which CardNav thankfully caught) but now it won't let me add the card or create the new account! The card scanner is useless. Then the app disabled card registration. Then it says my information doesn't match their records, but it's all correct. I love the service but the app is failing me horribly right now.

I absolutely love it!! No one can use it. It tells you who trying to charge your card, and it will immediately decline all charges when it's turned off. I definitely would recommend this to friends and family!! Save you money and unnecessary fees, it doesn't have to be none.....

I use most of my stuff off the desktop computer and as such, I have 1Password managing my passwords.. and that generates impossible to remember passwords. As such, an app that keeps asking to login then logs you off is an absolute waste of time. As design, every app should have a "keep unlocked" and don't bother me. My phone is already secure therefore, no, thanks.

This card is great for notifying when it's being used but I can't deal with the slow update of my balance. I have to continuously click on transaction to get it to update my balance. That is not good because it can cause a huge mistake. This has been going on for about 2 months now.

This app is functional but I hate it! We are strongly encouraged to choose passwords which are complex, and to not reuse passwords; especially for financial services such as this. Good advice but following this requires use of some password manager app because now I have over a hundred different passwords. This is fine as well, but what is NOT fine is that this app doesn't allow auto-fill apps to fill the password field! This has forced me to use a very weak (but rememberable) password!

Works well when it works. It only works occasionally. Not good. Picking a user name is cumbersome. It just didn't like one I chose. Met the quals but kept giving me an error message about something else. All in all a crappy app to manage something as important as a debit card. Three thumbs down 😠👎👎👎

its so quick and easy to turn your debit card on and off, in less than 5 seconds you protect your account from cyber theives! turn it on instantly for a purchase, it lets u know it went through & turn it back off - it still lets your monthly auto payments through even with it off, so you dont have to worry about bills declining.

This app would be amazing if the option to fingerprint worked more than once before you had to log on via password, have it tell you your password is wrong, reset it, reset your fingerprint, then get to log in exactly once that way before the option is again gone. Is there a fix on the way for this?

When it works, this app is great. But there are times when the service cannot be reached. You are then stuck in whatever condition your card is in. It has stranded me several times, but most times it works fine.

I'm trying to reset my password... its asks for login ID... I put it in to get security token that allows me to reset, but it keeps saying, "unable to reset password". I figured maybe my login is incorrect, but there is nothing to select for that either... so, I cant gain access to my app.

I have my account set to notify me for all transactions on my card. I was notified within seconds when fraudulent transactions began to come through and I immediately signed in to the app and disabled my card. The fraudster(s) tried the card again and I received a notification that the charge was denied because the card was deactivated. I'm extremely grateful because my payroll was deposited two days prior.

Great app until you get a fraudulent charge on your card. It was great at helping me realize my card was compromised before my account was cleaned out, but now I can't use my new debit card with the app. Once you link a card, there is no way to remove it and add a new card. What good is this app then? It's the software equivalent of a paperweight now that I had to get a new card. It served it's purpose until it actually helped me catch fraud. Now I'm unprotected. Nice.

Great when it works! Everytime the app updates it never remembers my login info and requires me to re-login. Then it never lets me. It's so frustrating. I then have to call the credit union to reset my password because the "forgot password" link doesn't work

Joh. B. Jun 21, 2021

Awful! I just got a new phone and I can't sign in. It won't send me a reset password email, and when I try to create a new account, it says I can't add a card from a different financial institution. Coastal, you really messed the one up BIGTIME!

Mar. B. S. Aug 5, 2021

It won't allowe to type in my card number. Says that feature is not available so I must scan my card...but that doesn't work either...after way too many attempts to scan my card. I give up...completely useless app if you can't even get started!

Tar. S. Apr 30, 2019

Doesn't sync with my acct most of the time. Balance is usually wrong even after refreshing. I guess I will use the website to check my balance but the card locking feature and the alerts to pending charges are nice.

Pau. S. Jan 24, 2021

Since the update the app won't even open, I get an error that says it can't run on a rooted device?! My AT&T S9 hasn't been rooted, but it sounds like I'm not missing out on much since they got rid of biometric login.
