What is up with the latest update? Absolutely useless! It took my first description but not any of the other changes I made. Then when I tried to edit it, all I got was error after error. 1st error was I went over 850 characters so I deleted down to 850. Then it errored and said it had to be at least 850. So I added another sentence and same error. What do I do when nobody applies because it shows they have to have every skill on the list because it wouldn't take an update???
The app is glitchy. When you create your profile, better make sure everything is perfect because editing is very annoying. Also, you cannot read messages from potential candidates unless you pay $35 a month for their subscription. If you are not willing to pay, don't waste your time trying to create a profile - advice I wish I would've seen before bothering with this app.
Trust issues, as Nannies can't see my profile, they keep asking info that I already shared. Today I received a message saying my premium trial will expire soon (6/01), but this freaking message is already blocking my screen, I can't erase it! Messages are shown as delivered but why 95% of the candidates didn't reply or saw my messages? Also, the few nannies I got an answer they say they can't edit their profile.. AND why this is so expensive? You should be more accessible an fix all that!
The only thing I don't like is that I have to include an exact start date when I'm just looking for an occasional date night sitter in my job posting and don't have a specific day in mind yet. Otherwise I was successfully used this site to find many different great sitters throughout the year
App appears to be useless. I can't get past the sign up process. Every time I get to the end and press continue it just takes me back to the beginning. I'll just find a caregiver some other way. Thanks for nothing...
This is just atrocious, low quality, error prone and buggy. The messaging system is terrible, no easy way to schedule meetings, random issues like messages disappeared, can't filter by full time vs part time. Could not be worse.
Awful after the update. I was trying to look for a sitter outside of our home address ( while on vacation) and it won't let me change the address where I need care. Why even ask if I can't change what address I want care at? I tried to temporarily change our home address, nope... unable to complete that request. After seeing other reviews it's really clear they don't care about this app. Why force me to install it to look at messages if you aren't going to fix it?
Dumpster fire of a service and customer support. I used their autobooking feature to secure childcare and paid. When our trip came the sitter never responded and ruined the weekend. The support team took two weeks to respond to my email then just sent a canned message about other issues without even addressing what I sent. And tried to upsell me for more services. I can't imagine how this place is still in business.
Can't view daycares. I'm trying to find a daycare for my child and thought I download the app for easier searching on my phone but it doesn't have the option to look at daycares. Just nannies or babysitters. Not helpful.
There is no way around not getting a subscription. You have to pay to message someone. And then pay even more to have a baby sitter. It may be a wonderful service but I can't even trying it free and message anyone. I can go on rover or Wag and not have to pay crazy amounts to reach out to someone on there.
Can't call customer support for a refund of a background check. No number available. I don't see a chat system available in the app either, but it's infuriating that I can't talk to a person!
This app is literally the worst it constantly crashes and never loads messages. The alerts are very delayed. I have sent help tickets and the problems have never been resolved.
The app won't let me set my home address because it's "unable to verify my information." There's no fallback for any kind of manual verification and customer support is nonexistent. I'm assuming they put the same kind of savvy into their caregiver background check system, so perhaps it's for the best that this is unusable.
Decent app. But why can't I search for nannies available to book in a certain timeframe? You can only search by nanny or babysitter, but not by time windows when you actually need the help. For an app like Care am surprised, as that would be a top use case
On and off this app for 3 years while paying a monthly fee and I've never found anyone. There are no quality applicants, they don't update their availability, etc
great for finding a lot of help to pick from. the app is not super user friendly, but the business itself has helped us a lot!
I have given up on finding childcare. It's just impossible. Yet they charge you 40 bucks a month. I used their suggestions and not many people even called me back. Lots of no responses or not interested. It's just not what I had hoped.
I've had very good experiences with this App. As a mature single man who lives alone I have been able to get assistance for my medical procedures pre and post op.
Just installed the app and posted a job. Paid for premium account and get an error message everytime trying to respond to an applicant! No updates to fix this?
Nata was wonderfully responsive, reliable and caring. My son is already asking for her to come back. She also goes the extra mile and completed some light cleaning. I will definitely be asking her to return!
Unable to post a for hire position received error messages.. cannot login to see if my job posting words were saved and try to repost. Aggravating.. cannot find a legitimate phone number, tried to ask online and got switched over to a third party IT company that wanted to charge $49.
App is broken but the website works without a problem. It costs about 35 per month, 70 per quarter, or 130 per year; but has very small pool of users and I ended up hiring someone from a free service before even hearing from a candidate on this app. This app has background check feature that's convenient but costs more than background checking sites I found.
The app keeps lagging and locking up and will not allow me to post a job after trying at least 20 times and after contacting their IT dept. Using the actual website is worse!
Update 03/09: I just bought (for fun) the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Android 12, U.I. 4.0. The app is not working on this phone. At all. I tried every potential troubleshooting.
Tried to sign in one and it froze, subsequent attempts resulted in the app crashing seconds after opening.
We've been paying premium for years and only use it rarely because most of the profiles seemed to be not active and it's very hard to get a response out of 20 requests, but I thought it's good to keep it as a backup. Yesterday and today I've been trying to update my kid's photo on the profile, tried 20 something times using both app and website, all got rejected, tried to contact by chatting, error. I think it's time to stop playing.
