For some reason the app constantly keeps crashing even when it's not in use on my phone. I keep getting alerted that the app is crashing and to put it into "deep sleep" to fix the problem. I tried that, and it still keeps crashing. What's going on here ?.
Would be a lot more useful if the payment reminders and push notifications actually worked. I have everything enabled, but I only get notifications when I open the app and wait for it to load. As in, unless I obsessively check the app every day, it never goes off at all. So it doesn't tell me when my payment is due, it doesn't tell me when the payment is posted, or if there have been any changes, nothing. I've turned in several issues with this over months and they've never been addressed.
Buggy app. I make a payment and there is no record. I get notifications that my address has changed when it never did. Trying to get customer service by phone is a challenge. Trying to get them to correct an issue is difficult. Snail mail paying with a check was easier. Not sure why I need this app and the my synchrony app together. I get daily notifications and regular mail to activate my card when it was already or there wouldn't be a charge or balance. Overall needs lots of work.
Horrible experience!! I got an email on December 1st,2022 telling me if I downloaded the app I would get a $5 credit. I downloaded it that day and waited two billing cycles for them to load it. It's been over 2 billing cycles so I call and they tell me I am a liar and I never downloaded (even though I had made payments.) I also have a screenshot showing my "application data usage." From December 1st-31st. No one offered to allow me to send the proof, and in fact the escalated rep hung up on me.
Mostly works well, except that my phone keeps telling me that this app is draining my battery because it is having frequent crashes. But they must be happening in the background because I don't usually have any trouble while I'm using it. I'm just worried about the battery drain.
It just doesn't work. I got my card today and I am trying to create my account it won't work, the button "Continue" just doesn't do anything. I tried calling and got an link to chat with an agent, link didn't work (I was using Firefox as told during the call). Tried calling again and for my surprise at this time it doesn't understand the word "Agent" anymore. I am beyond pissed.
DONT BOTHER IF YOURE NOT READY TO USE IT. My account was closed without my permission with no warning. I'm so furious, I was finally about to start scheduling appointments for myself. I applied/opened it a year ago and finding a reliable doctor and time off has been hard. Mostly upset because of the effect it had on my credit. I won't ever be reapplying, I'm sure that's all they'd even "offer" to do.
This app is always crashing in the background. Draining battery. I don't have it open and I'm not using it and it is still crashing in the background constantly. My phone alerted me it was going to put it into deep sleep because it is draining my battery
Easy to find the basic info you need. Payments, promotional purchases, etc. But no Single Sign On (SSO), so when you trying to view rewards points or some other portal, you have to re-enter your login creds. Very cumbersome if you decide to update your or forget your password.
I made a payment of $61, and then a few days later I had a withdrawal from my bank to them for $75, which overdrafted my account, so my bank charged me an extra $33. For a $75 I never placed or entered. Not on Autopay. And they are saying I put in the payment, which I obviously never did. My payment had arleady been met. Do NOT use this company, they will steal your money.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have 6 months to pay the total in full regardless of purchase price (unlike their contract states "if over 1k 24 months, if over 2.5k 60 months, etc) or they add a lump sum interest accrued from those 6 months, jumping your remaining balance to well over your original purchase price.. making your excellent payment history from the last 6 months pointless. Even when you've paid $100 or more over the bill amount each month. Use a regular credit card. Skip these frauds.
This app is updated yet, won't even open. When it says to send feedback... that crashes too. I used to love the app!
App used to be excellent. Now it won't even open. Crashes as soon as I click open. How am I supposed to pay my monthly bill if I can't even access it?!
The app is useless unless you want offers and spam emails. I signed up for notifications but never received payment notificationsor benefits notifications. They still email everything. Also when you make a payment on the app it still takes 24hrs to show fyi.
There is no automatic payment setting. The push notifications do not work. The app icon doesn't even show up on my phone as app. I have to go to the Google play store just to open it. Worst company ever.
I'm giving two stars because u make it to hard to pay the bill when need to use another card give us a option to in put a pay card instead of just bank account# and routing# I get paid on a efs card as a professional driver and it would be great if I could pay my bill with it but dn't have a option to add a card just a account and I dn't have the account number and routing number with me all day because it doesn't show in my app and I don't keep the brochure with me. Having that option to pay w/
The only problem is that it doesn't notify you when to make a payment, unless I don't know where to find notifications. That is the only pay that seems like a scam for then to gain more money! Other than that I'm pretty happy with the app.
Great App has always worked perfectly fine for me. This credit card it 1000% worth it as it pays for Medical bills and prescription and much more when you don't have that $$ available. Glad I'm able to pay back in small payments Very convenient I'm happy 😊
The service is not to bad the app is a little clunky and could use a major overhaul MAJOR! Only 3 stars because the app is not that great and most importantly there is no way to set up auto pay. If I set up a payment the day after my payment day for the next month's bill the app freaks out and can't stop telling me my payment will be late. This would not happen if there was an auto pay.
I needed over $1000 when my cat got out & cut himself badly. It was right at the start of the pandemic & I was concerned about tying up a lot of cash but it was emergent. Care credit was easy to use & I didn't have to be concerned with paying such an unexpected bill at a very bad time. I can pay monthly. If I pay it off w/in a certain time (determined by the card) I incur NO finance charges. A great thing! The auto-pay option is VERY helpful so I don't forget to pay.
So glad I heard about this company! I've had an account with them for almost 2yrs now. Incredibly easy to sign up and their app couldn't be any easier to manage my balance and make payments! Even my vet accepts this as payment and it's all interest free as long as you pay the balance off within a year!!!! Helps your credit score too cause it goes towards your overall credit card usage. I recommend this to everyone (and I'm cheap)!
Love the app because I do everything on my phone. When I need to use this app, however, it seldom opens. It will eventually open, but I have to try over and over until it does. Normally takes about 6 or 7 tries resulting in 30 minutes of continuous frustration before I can use this. If they can ever get this fixed, I'll update to 5 stars, but until then it just angers me for the 1st half hour because i have to waist so much time in attempts before actually using.
Good basic credit card app but it has some bugs. I use this card quite a bit to take advantage of their point rewards. so I use this app to review my transactions regularly, but as someone else mentioned it quit updating transactions in a timely manner about a month ago. I triedter clearing the cache, and the storage, and I still had the same issue. However, after uninstalling and reinstalling the app everything seems to be normal again.
Scam. This app exists to make you think you are paying the bill, however 2 days after you make a payment it tells you it did not go through, charges a late fee, then all the interest, the promotional offer of x mo with no interest gets invalidated. I have used my checking account on other apps with no problem. No matter how many times you try re-entering, it will never go through. The in app messages are all spam, it doesn't even notify you of a missed or failed payment.
The app used to be great; no issues whatsoever. However, since the end of September 2021, I have been getting "Payment received" notifications DAILY, even though I only made the payment ONCE. I have cleared the data, cleared the cache, even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, to no avail. I even changed the notification settings to uncheck 'Payment received' - again, to no avail.
I like the CareCredit app. I can easily view my account balance, transactions, and monthly statements. I can also connect with the website that controls my cash back bonuses. The only thing missing is a calculation for the amount I need to pay this month so I can avoid any interest fees. With credits for store refunds and charges after the statement, it is not always easy.
