Carla - Car Rentals

OK sssooo the app does NOT explain how it works, and the price for me when I tried it? 72.50. First thing, the app requires you to select extras, and then add it to the total... pppsstttt, for $72.50 I can rent a zipcar for a whole day with less hassle... I'm still not understanding what's different with Carla vs other car searching rental apps.... oh, and I didn't see a "pay later" option, just wanted my credit card info to pay for the full price for 1 day. I am 100% sure I'm Uninstalling.

Worst booking experience ever. After submitting information at booking I never received a email or anything. I had no reservations listed on the app. After contacting customer support they couldn't find my reservation even though they charged $121 deposit. Then they said I could use the app which I explained didn't work and verifying the email didn't work. They explained canceling through the app would result in my loosing 50% of my payment... Ended up blocking them through my bank.

I tried to rent a car for a certain time once I paid it changed the reservation to a time and date that had nothing to do with when I wanted to rent the car so I instantly tried to get my money back and they refused and the dates that I was supposed to rent no longer were available. I wouldn't recomend this to anyone. Very poor customers service as well as a complete rip off!

I'd give them zero stars if I could. I reserved pick up and drop off at an airport. Made the reservation at 5pm the night before I was due to pick up (pick up time was noon) get to the airport to pick up and they claim I cannot because this specific car rental at this airport requires reservation to be done 24 hrs in advance and would not let me rent, carla will NOT return the deposit stating they aren't at fault when in reality they 100% are since they allowed me to make the reservation.

This app is a complete waste. They don't say anywhere in the app that if you don't have a return flight to that airport you can't pick up your rental car. Then they refuse to give you your money back. No one wants a Carla credits especially for a car that they can't rent. I would give 0 stars. I'm contacting attorney they will not get away with this.

I booked two separate cars, and opted in for there top protection plan which was to protect me from incidents at the counter. Once I arrived I was not able to rent cars due to no major credit card. The only refund option I was Givin was credits. I was told by support that since I opted for credits I cannot get a refund. I was told that family and friends could also use my credits. Then come to find out you can only use credits to pay for half of the first fee. I lost $148.00. SCAM

Was never able to pick up car due to deposit issues but then still charged for car rental. Extremely frustrating. Nobody to get ahold of for money back. You are forced to text a computer back and forth.

Very simple to use. I see a lot of "please do everything for me" types of complaints, but the app is very user friendly. My car took like 3 minutes to schedule. No problems whatsoever.

I really need to talk to some who works at this company and not a bot. I received a message stating that I needed to return a vehicle I never rented. There has been several transactions taken from my bank account in between $14 and $15 dollars and it was done multiple times. I never rented a vehicle nor have I authorized to pay that. I had canceled one vehicle as I couldn't figure out how to get a ride to pick it up. I need these amounts refunded

I know app ads lie, hard. But this should be outlawed! Advertising prices that are less than 5% of what the app actually shows you. All you're doing is going to an app, instead of using a website, is searching all the car rental companies in your chosen area. Once u pick a company then you can check out their cars for rent. Car rentals are like $250 a day. I can buy an RV camper for that! I searched all over for the fabled $10 a day car rental. Nonexistent. For shame.

If I could do zero Stars I would worst rental app ever a specifically typed what I need and what I wanted none of it was there the reservation wasn't there 3:00 in the morning I'm walking around freaking LAX because they didn't get it right and there's no way to contact him they say you can open up a ticket but you can't because when you push the button nothing happens no customer service whatsoever

Shady, Deceptive Liars I made reservations through this sad app mid March. They took a prepayment from me. $142.56. When I arrived at the car rental place, they saw that NO Prepayment had been made. But on my end the prepayment was pending in my account and at some point pulled out of my account. For close to 3 weeks I've been sending tickets thru their lame app to get some help for a refund. Instead I get the run around! SHADY! I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK!

First off these people are a scam. If you have a chime credit card and they took my payment when I got to rental car company they denied me . After that I contacted the customer support and they stated that they will have to submit a refund request and it will take about 10 days. 10 days past and they contacted me and updated me and stated that they will not be refunding me my money. I contacted my bank disputed transaction and awaiting an appeal.

I made a reservation for a rental and did not receive any further information on where the rental is actually located. I then request to cancel the reservation and they tell me I will not be refunded and will have to make the rest of the payment. This app is a complete scam!!!!

The app seemingly convenient and makes it easy to book a rental, but after being charged for a 3-day rental and receiving confirmation I am told I do not qualify for the rental at the Dollar Car Rental. There is no customer support to call and the app will not even let me send a message for assistance. I can only complain here through playstore now! Do not use this app if you do not have a credit card! Use TURO instead and save yourself the hassle

After booking a rental online paying for it online I took left went to the airport try to get the rental after showing them my reservation number just to find out that I'm not able to get the rental because of the card payment method that I was using they did not accept China no matter how much money was in that time account they did not accept it people you have to have a credit card I did not know that this company should have let us know off top before wasting all that time and money for noth

This is a bogus app, straight scam. They ask you to pay for half of the rental through the app but then when you get to the rental you still owe the full amount plus $300 deposit. I decided to not pay the deposit and cancel the rental but still haven't received my money back almost 6 weeks later.

This app is such a scam a blantent lie that I am filing charges having an investigation by the attorney general.they take your reservation gives you an option to pay at the counter then takes your money out you of your account immediately. After emailing them and sending prood to them of what they did the refuse to refund my $192.00 AND I was renting a car in Texas and they reserved it in Istanbul Turkey!!!!!

They charge you around 75 dollars. Do not use this app....that money does not go towards your rental car. No point to use this app. Don't waste your time like I did with this app. Rip off. .

Flawless booking. Will reevaluate after car pickup. Hotel deals would not let me change the dates. Using galaxy s10

They don't tell you the requirements before making a reservation. Two utility bills and a large additional deposit. Terrible service. They only refund a small portion of the amount to make the reservation after canceling, and give you no information on the requirements before hand. Absolutely ridiculous. Go straight to the rental agency or use Turo. Insulting service.

After paying them the deposit and getting a confirmation number for my purchase I then tried to find out where to go for a rental agency to pick up the car that I was promised and that they had taken the money for and I was unable to locate them anywhere any phone number only an email which I am getting ready to send them another one I got an email from them stating they didn't have the car because they had overbooked and didn't have the car that I requested and needed and would

Dollar rejected my rental since they couldn't run a credit check. Nothing said there would be credit check anyway. I hold both businesses accountable for that. Carla has no customer support number under the guise that they've found that email support works better. That's a lie to cover that they don't want to spend money on customer support or answer service requests. It's a little easier to drop emails than not pick up the phone. Don't try to respond and say to email! I have long email threads!

My experience was and still is awful!! We reserved a car on this app when we got to the airport they would not honor reservation and had never heard of this app. We cancelled reservation and booked car through Dollar. Carla still charged us not once but four times!! There's not a individual you can speak with and the email I got in response to my email I sent was that they "refuse" to correct their mistske. We didn't even get the car from them. If I could give them a negative star count I would.
