The adapter can read some manufacturer error codes but didn't clear them. And it isn't coding anything. Error 70.
Thieves . I bought the adapter and the software ,now they want subscription and the old app doesn't work anymore.

Best BMW app.
I have been a long term user. I now have 2 e46 and a e90. I purchased the cable adapter which has served me well. For some recent reason the app will not recognize the cable for any of my applications. Bluetooth might be convenient but the cable should still work for same cars. Not happy. I have reset 2 android devices (Samsung 7s and lg tablet) i use it on with no success now which both worked before.
When you get the pro version you still have to pay for unlocking for service and some coding and for the CCC . Not worth it adapter+ pro version+ $$$ for unlocking Way to expensive.
Unable to translate fault codes into meaningful info.. subcripgio. Service is not a benefit
I have the e90 (320d) 2011 it works great with their own carly adaptor not one bit of fault with it connects right up i have used all functions that are available for my car nox and flap is not but dpf function works great even the revs are in time with the live feed on the app nice work guys

I've had Carly for BMW pro version for more than a years, for the past month I've been trying to migrate with no luck, I've tried using my GPA copied and past from Google as well as my email. Nothing works, I've even tried contacting their support who keeps sending me back an automated response and link to enter my GPA... I would not have spent more than $80 on this app plus 70 for the adapter if I knew it was only going to last but for so long Edit: I sent the email that you requested to your email address and was replied the same generic email as before. only this time it was in German EDIT: I sent my email address and GPA as you requested in return. I was sent the same useless link to upgrade through email that doesn't work
I wanted to stick with the old version I had bought and worked for me over the years but I'm being forced to upgrade with an un dismissable modal.
Two icons now. Dropping bluetooth connection. Hard to connect sometimes.
Application was almost enjoyable even if it did include some hard to understand options without descriptions. However after spending $80 on the app and demanding that again for their locked down adapter they have the grand idea to rip it away and make you pay this as a yearly subscription and rip it away from all existing users. If they really meant to do this and not screw there current users this wouldn't require a 'new app' just a modification to the existing. Don't trust this developer.
Paid bunch for app. Then paid bunch for their adapter. Now I have to pay again? Never really worked well anyway. Wasted $120 total.

Expensive, but much easier to use than NCS Expert, INPA, etc.
bought the old version with my new $60 adapter back then. Now the migration process won't allow my apps to upgrade! Stay away! purchased all available addons on my account. Wow carly you ***** please restore my apps!
